Indeed Reviews (203)

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com, We apologize for the poor experience and we’d like to explain. Upon further investigation of your account, it seems you began using our Resume Database in August and a credit card was added on file. Then on September 28th you created your “ Licensed Massage...

Therapist” job posting on an $18 daily budget. Since a credit card was already added on file, the job started to accrue charges. It does seem like there was some confusion when setting up the job posting. For this reason, our team has granted a refund for the amount of $361.28. This amount totals the advertising charges for the month of September and October. Please allow 3-5 business days for this refund to reflect in your account. Lastly, we have paused all the jobs within the account and you are no longer accruing charges with Indeed. We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Since the refund has been granted we consider this issue resolved. Best,[redacted]

[redacted]We reached out here to provide assistance with the situation and apologized for the disabled account status. We re-enabled the account for Tina and gave her access to all candidates she had received prior to it being disabled. To fully resolve this issue, we offered Tina a $100...

credit towards future free clicks and also offered our assistance in posting a new sponsored job advertisement on Indeed. She agreed that this resolution was sufficient and we let her know we would be happy to help with her future hiring needs if she needed us. Kind Regards,[redacted]

Dear [redacted] and the Revdex.com, as this has been resolved, we consider this case closed. Thank you,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  We also have an unauthorized charge of $61.48 on 10-2-15 on our company credit card that was to be credited back per the Account Rep.  That has not occurred yet.  That is the only outstanding issue that remains.  Still not happy with the experience but once the $61.48 is credited back it will be considered resolved on our end.

I am rejecting this response because: I do hope this is indeed' true. When we last spoke thru my personal e-mail where [redacted] reached me. She said she could not find any such acct, even after I had provided her with this persons info. leaving my number vulnerable too more calls and text messages from several Businesses. I was expecting very important calls which were interrupted by these other phone calls.  I was asked too handle this pretty much my self. when I expressed how I felt about this and had explained there was such a person/ profile as verified previous day by one of there employee too my husband had already provided them with all this persons personal info.  When he called seeking help. and they were going to try and handle it. I asked [redacted] too get too the bottom of this when she said she couldn't find ant such acct/ person. as the calls were coming in about 3 to 4 a day.  And she should try and do a bit more than telling me I should pretty much do her job for her.again i providing her with the same info. [redacted], emailed me again thank this person was found. I sure do hope so. I appreciate it if it was indeed taken care of, but again only time will tell. thank you.

Dear [redacted] I am sorry that you do not find the previous response here satisfactory. Unfortunately, as explained to you in the past two messages, Indeed's position on the status of your account will not change. We've submitted multiple requests on behalf of your complaints to see if there was any chance of the account being re-enabled, but we have made a final decision that we will not be moving forward with granting visibility here. Any legal discussions regarding this situation that you feel Indeed should be involved in will need to be forwarded to our legal department at: Indeed, Inc.Attn: Legal Department[redacted] Kind Regards,[redacted]

Dear [redacted] and the Revdex.com:We have reviewed the account in question further, and see that two requests were made to our Quality team to have the account reviewed. We collected information from the client for this review, however after two separate reviews, we determined that these jobs are not...

suitable for Indeed. Among several issues noted on the account, the positions posted did not meet our quality standards. We are unable to share further information regarding the decision as we do not want additional accounts to be created in an attempt to get around this decision. In addition, for security reasons, we are unable to share the contact information of our job seekers once an employer account has been disabled. We did our very best to resolve this issue for the client, however the account will remain disabled and further reviews for this account will not be conducted. Please review our Job Posting guidelines for additional information regarding this decision: [redacted]Thank you,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
For the record, the email they supposedly sent, was never sent to me and you will notice there’s no date with it either.

Dear [redacted] and the [redacted] [redacted] recently spoke with a member of our customer support team. I am rejecting this response because: I didn't get a fair response since it doesn't make sense that "city" jobs would bring up personal stranger homes that were only sent by <jobalertindeed.com> specifically  and were only house cleaning sent emails to me every day when I had been off the website period. The emails sent were totally inappropriately which I saved as proof that they were dubious. I was on their years ago and I never came across this odd situation with it seemed desperately seeking private homes and after I started recognizing these strange postings and emails directly to my email address I removed my resume for house cleaning companies only.  I did do a wider band search at the beginning to see if their were other partime jobs in between while I searched and was hired from a house cleaning company and I applied with few companies and I was not contacted yet theses companies were still on the website wanting to hire workers so that made it more confusing and frustrating on why this was all happening to me. I went on Indeed.com to find a second job to have stability with a company. I had optimism but gave up and now I'm very unsatisfied with the response with the vaguely explanations that made no sense which didn't relate to my initial complaint. They didn't explain why this situation over time even happened to me in the first place.  Regards,

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com, I spoke with [redacted] via email and explained how the charges were accrued and we came to a resolution that we would submit a refund for the amount of $1,486.91. Our Finance Team has granted the full refund for this amount. Please allow 3-5 business days for this refund to...

reflect in your account. Please note, our team will not be able to grant any future refunds on this account, however we want to make sure you are set up for success on Indeed should you decide to post future positions. If you no longer wish to sponsor your advertisements you can keep your postings free by selecting "Post job without sponsoring" on the “Job Budget” page. If you have any questions regarding your account in the future please don’t hesitate to reach me directly. Since the disputed amount has been refunded we consider this issue resolved. Best,[redacted]

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com, We apologize for the poor experience. As previously stated in our response to your Revdex.com review, per our Terms and Conditions, we prohibit the sharing of login information and are not responsible for any charges accrued in these situations. However, we do realize there was...

some confusion when setting up the job posting on Indeed. For this reason, we have refunded you for the amount of $97.60. Please allow up to 3-5 business days for this to reflect in your account. Moving forward, we recommend no longer sharing your login credentials as this is a violation of our guidelines and for this reason, any future refunds will not be granted. Since the disputed amount has been refunded we consider this issue resolved. Best.[redacted]

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com, Thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the poor experience. To explain, your “Hair Stylist/Nail Technician” position was posted on a $16 daily budget and began spending on September 21st, 2017. This is a recurring budget and the job will continue to spend...

unless an end date is set or the job is manually closed. Then on September 28th, 2017 an end date was set for November 27th, 2017. The position did close as requested on November 27th and it spent a total of $763.36 from 09/21/2017-11/27/2017. While the position was live you logged into the account multiple times and candidates were reviewed. Overall, since the charges have already been disputed with the bank a refund cannot be granted at this time. You will need to continue the process of the dispute with the bank. If you would like us to look into this further, you will need to cancel the dispute with your credit card company as we cannot look into refund requests if the bank has already been notified and is working on the request. Please send us an email to [redacted] with proof that you have canceled the dispute of charges with your credit card company, and also provide the amount of money that you intended to spend on Indeed. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee the entire amount will be refunded as there was consistent activity on your account, but we would be happy to look into seeing what we can do for you. Please reference your Revdex.com complaint details in the email you forward to us at [redacted]. Best,[redacted]

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com, We apologize for the confusion and we'd be happy to explain. Yes, Indeed does work on a cost-per-click basis. This means every time someone clicks on your ad you are going to be charged a small amount. This amount will be subtracted from your daily or monthly budget you...

choose to spend. Our system will determine your cost per click based on the traffic on the site and how many people are clicking on your ad. Essentially, we will try to get you the most clicks at the lowest cost. However, our system will notice if your job posting is not receiving a lot of traffic and will increase your cost per click to help your job be more competitive in the search results. The average cost per click is between $0.25 - $1.25 but our system can spend up to $8 per click. We do see that a member of our team submitted a request to have your cost-per-click manually lowered, however, your cost-per-click did exceed the $0.75 limit that was set. Please note, after this conversation on July 24th, our representative added $80 worth of free clicks onto the account. This credit covered the rest of the spend for July and part of August. Our team was able to refund $103.87 which was the amount billed to you for the month of August. In addition, they have wiped the current balance on the account for the amount of $39.84. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Best,Indeed Support

Our attorney has in fact provided a letter to Indeed.com explaining the specific details of what happened.  This was done as a first attempt to professionally and reasonably resolve the apparent confusion that Indeed.com is clearly subjected to.   Unfortunately, Indeed.com's legal department, for whatever unexplainable reason, did not extend the professional courtesy of a response, despite our attorney's request to do so.   And yet your response is to "do it again". Keep in mind, this was all done prior to ever considering the engagement of the Revdex.com to resolve the issue.Clearly, as evidenced in this very discourse, Indeed.com has made it abundantly clear that it has no intention of letting the "accused" know what they are allegedly being "accused of" - which speaks volumes as to the injustice and lack of principles of which any company should operate under.   I consider this a highly discriminatory practice.  I beseech you to reconsider your position.  I consider the matter unresolved.
