I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
From their response, apparently Indeed considered my post to be "multilevel marketing" because I would have hired someone with a CNA certificate or would have trained someone who didn't have a CNA. It wasn't a job requirement as this was a job in a private home, but the duties of the job are what a CNA does at a nursing home

Hello [redacted] and the Revdex.com,After looking into this situation further, we see that we have offered a credit to compensate the amount spent by the client in the amount of $1,250. We stand by this offer, as there were consistent logins recorded on the account, the client closing the position and...

reopening it several weeks later, as well as increasing the advertising budget. Since the month of March, the client has logged into the account several times and has made updates, but did not inform Indeed of any issues with the candidate quality or spend of the positions until August. Indeed is a self-serve product, and therefore it is the responsibility of the account holder to monitor the spend of their job budget, as well as ensure the position is closed when they are no longer hiring. We would be happy to apply a credit towards future advertising on Indeed for the total amount spent in the month of August ($1,365), however due to the login activity and changes made to the position, we will not be granting a refund here. We feel that the amount provided in free clicks is a reasonable compromise to attempt to resolve this issue for the client and would be happy to partner with him to ensure his future success with Indeed and our product. Kind Regards,[redacted]

Dear [redacted]As mentioned previously, a refund will not be granted here. We had previously attempted to contact you to discuss your experience in September, but did not hear back. Whether or not this was due to short staff, it is the client's responsibility to get in touch with us at the time of the problem, and not several months after using the product continuously. If there questions regarding unqualified candidates or not hearing back from job seekers in September, use of the product should have stopped until there was a consultative call with an Indeed representative. In addition to this, we have already offered a free click credit of $350 to make up for this experience in an attempt at resolving this complaint, as we do not refund for candidate quality. This was rejected by the advertiser. While the client was not using the pay per click method, she was contacting candidates via Indeed Resume at her own discretion, and we make it very clear in multiple parts of our site that not all job seekers will respond to contacts sent out by Advertisers. The use of Indeed Resume is at $1 per contact. The employer must agree to pay this $1 each time they sent a contact to a job seeker, and for this reason we do not refund for Indeed Resume contacts. If the client wishes to accept the original $350 credit towards free clicks for posting jobs on Indeed, this is the most we would be willing to over. Again, we will not be providing a refund to the credit card. Thank you,[redacted]

Dear [redacted] and the Revdex.com,After further investigation of the account under the email address provided, we will not be offering this client visibility. The client and his related accounts have been reviewed 3 times for quality reasons. Reasons for suspension include questionable communication with our...

job seekers, and low quality job descriptions. This directly violates our Job Posting Guidelines, found here: [redacted]. This communication has been provided to the client during numerous interactions with our customer support team. The decision to keep the account disabled will not be reviewed further.Kind Regards,[redacted]

Dear Ian and the Revdex.com, We reached out directly to Ian via email twice with further steps to review the account for access to contacting candidates. We did not receive a response to our attempts to communicate with this employer.  The email chain can be found below: Re: Indeed.com...

Revdex.com Complaint
[redacted]2:47 PM (20 hours ago)[redacted] Hi [redacted]I just wanted to follow up on the email sent to you below. Please let me know if you have any questions.Thank you,[redacted]Associate Manager, Social Media Client ServicesIndeed - How the world works.™[redacted]Indeed.comOn Thu, Oct 27, 2016 at 10:53 AM, [redacted] <[redacted]@indeed.com> wrote:Hi [redacted]I hope this email finds you well. I received your complaint against Indeed through the Revdex.com and wanted to reach out to assist. Currently, your ability to contact candidates as well as post jobs on Indeed is suspended. This is because we do not have enough information about your company or the position you are recruiting for. There also does not seem to be any information available about the business online.  I would be happy to submit your account for review, but I would need a scanned hard copy of a utility bill or government documentation (i.e. IRS documentation), as well as a copy of the job description you are sending to candidates through resume. From there, we can submit the information for review. Please keep in mind that the review process is required to verify that employers posting on Indeed are who they say they are, and that our job seekers are applying to good quality, legitimate opportunities on our site. Once I have received this information from you through email, I'll proceed with submitting the account for review.Kind Regards,[redacted]Associate Manager, Social Media Client ServicesIndeed - How the world works.™

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com,We apologize for the poor experience you had while using [redacted] and we’re happy to explain. Upon further investigation of your account, there was a “postdoc fellow” position posted on April 5, 2016, on a $17 daily budget. Since no credit card was added at the time the job was...

created no charges were accrued. Then on August 1, 2017, a “Postdoctoral researcher in cancer therapeutics” job was created on a $99.99 daily budget. Again, no credit card was added on file so no charges were accrued. Neither one of these positions were closed so they continued to run live on [redacted].However, on January 27, 2018, a “postdoctoral fellow studying epigenetic drug combinations in solid tumors” job was created on a $13 daily budget. A credit card was added on file and the job began to spend. Since the older positions were still open and a budget was set up those jobs began to spend as well. While the positions were live they spent a total of $1,993.50.Since all three of the jobs are closed no additional charges will be accrued at this time. To explain further, when posting a job on [redacted] after you click “confirm” you are then brought to our pricing page. If you do not wish to post your job on a budget you can simply click “Post job without sponsoring” at the bottom of the page.We see that you recently spoke with one of our representatives on January 30th, 2018. Our representative tried to explain how the costs were accrued and he was willing to submit a refund request. However, you informed him that you had contacted your bank to dispute the charges. A refund cannot be granted while you are pursuing a dispute with your bank, however, if you would like [redacted] to look further into issuing you a refund, you may cancel the dispute with your credit card company and let us know. Please send us an email to [redacted].com with proof that you have canceled the dispute of charges with your credit card company, and also provide the amount of money that you intended to spend on [redacted]. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee the entire amount will be refunded as this does need to be approved by our finance team. Please reference your Revdex.com complaint details in the email you forward to us at [redacted].com.Thank you,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]  [redacted] I hired for this position in April. Then after 2 months the new hire relocated and I had to place another job for the position.  I did re-activate in Indeed. However, it was a separate search separated by 2 months. All activity before late July should not be considered in this matter. I understand that indeed has linked the two positions, however indeed has done so incorrectly as they were two separate searches. Your staff has agreed to provide a credit of at least 1.2k. Now you are saying indeed is right for so many reasons. I'm confused...why did indeed agree to provide a credit? Why has no credit been issued? Why has indeed agreed to provide a credit...but refused to consider an additional $200 on the credit? I think you need to respond to these questions with real meaningful answers so we can move this towards resolution. Respectfully, [redacted]

Useful details include e-mails you can forward, screen captures or links to the questionable jobs on Indeed. Thanks again and best regards,[redacted]SVP, Client ServicesIndeed | How the World Works.™[redacted]@indeed.com[redacted]

Dear [redacted] and the Revdex.com, We've contacted [redacted] regarding her inquiry and have advised her to report this activity to the card issuer in order to receive a refund to her bank account as Indeed does not investigate fraudulent activity on credit cards. We've suggested contacting the...

card issuer and make them aware of the charges and the charge amounts and specify that she did not create an Indeed account. They will be able to investigate further and move forward with any refund requests.Kind Regards,[redacted]

Hello Revdex.com and [redacted] We reached out to this client via email to offer our assistance and help her get her account re-enabled. We shared with the client the proper updates that would need to be made to her advertisement in order to gain visibility on our site. We also offered a $25 credit to go...

towards spending on this advertisement. We informed the client that if she does not wish to make these updates the job would not be granted visibility and we could move forward with the $14.52 refund. We have not heard back from the client so until we receive any update we consider this issue resolved.Best,Indeed Support

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com, For security reasons we are unable to upload any resumes on our users behalf. Any job seeker that uploads their resume onto the site is going to have their resume fitted to our template. If you need to edit your resume you can do so. However, you may need to manually copy and paste portions of your resume. Please note, when uploading the resume we will not distort the original file that is saved on your device. The only formatting adjusts that may need to be made will be on your Indeed Profile. As stated in our previous message, you can apply using your original layout by clicking the "Apply with a different resume" link. At this time, these are the only options we have in place but we will be sure to pass this feedback along to our Product Team. As we have provided you with an alternative way to apply with your original file we consider this issue resolved. Best,[redacted]
