Complaint: [redacted]Why disable the whole account from any future jobs when you only have a problem with one job posting?
Regards,
[redacted]

Hello [redacted] and the Revdex.com,In response to the previous message, the position created under the account provided to us by [redacted] only contained one job. This job was created on March 20th with the title Assistant Controller. The job was closed on May 1st, and then reopened again on July 20th with the title Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller. There was frequent login activity after the updating and reopening of the job and for this reason, Indeed will not be offering a refund. As offered in our last message, we are willing to offer $1,365 in credits towards sponsored clicks for the total amount spent in the month of August, but a refund will not be granted. Kind Regards,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I consider your response entirely disingenuous and unacceptable.  I know unequivocally that our postings and practices have historically been consistent with Indeed.com's Terms of Service; moreover, even more so compliant than that of our local competitors who seem to remain in good standing with Indeed by having active accounts.  I have skirted the specifics of my ordeal because, frankly, I thought it not necessary.  But considering your staunch position on this matter, I will be more specific in informing you that our company has been essentially "hi-jacked" my an individual of whom we are pursuing legal civil action against as well as criminal charges - which include identity theft of creating fictitious emails, complaints, and false job postings.  Our family business is the "victim" here and I consider Indeed's judgment to be entirely clouded and rather closed minded on the matter.  This is not an issue of me questioning what legal rights Indeed is afforded in accordance to its terms and conditions.  It's a matter of Indeed extending some form of common courtesy and decency towards doing the right thing.  I want to trust that if this matter is ran up the chain to an Indeed.com executive, there may be a different perspective.  Regretfully, I remain steadfast in this matter not being resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]y

Hi [redacted], Thank you for contacting us. After reviewing your account, we see two positions were created on Indeed with daily budgets. The first was a Journeyman Carpenter position on a $20 daily budget created February 3rd. The second was a Lead Carpenter position created April 11th 2017 with a...

$19 daily budget, which went live when your credit card was added. Daily budgets are recurring unless an end date is set which it appears in this case these positions did not have an end date set up. The positions continued to run until March 15th when you contacted us regarding the charges. After contacting us by phone, you mentioned to the representative that you disputed the charges with your credit card. Once a charge is disputed with the credit card company, we are unable to process a refund request as this is already in process with the bank. If you are able to cancel this dispute and provide us with proof that it has been canceled, as well as explain to us what you intended to spend, we would be happy to submit a refund request on your behalf. Please also note if you were hiring for both of these positions, or just the one recently posted this year. Thank you,[redacted]

Dear [redacted] and the Revdex.com, After further review of the account and the reason for suspension, we submitted your Revdex.com complaint details over to our Search Quality team to see if the decision to disable your account could be reversed. After reviewing the company openings and the original reason for...

suspension, we have made the decision that the account will unfortunately remain suspended. This is a final decision, and will not be reconsidered for visibility in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and wish you the best of luck in your future hiring needs. Kind Regards,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Although I am aware that I should not give out personal information and I didn't, a professional scammer will do and say anything to gain trust in their victim. That is what was done to me. I am now out of a job and struggling to provide for myself. This is not my fault and I have most definitely learned my lesson. However, I am still paying for the effects of the scam. I don't know what other actions to take, but this does not seem like a fair resolution for my long suffering problems. But I do appreciate the efforts.
Regards,

Hello Revdex.com and [redacted] As we have stated before all accounts on Indeed are reviewed on a case by case basis. We have reached out to our Quality team to make them aware of the other jobs posted to Indeed currently which are similar in nature. Our team assured us they will be working on removing these jobs per this review, so you are not the only one who will not be able to post these positions. Again, if you are willing to make the updates to the ad that we previously shared with you via email our team would be happy to reinstate visibility. If you do not wish to do so we can move forward with the $14.52 refund. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. Best,Indeed Support

Hi [redacted] and the Revdex.com, I spoke with [redacted] via email and explained how the charges were accrued and we came to an resolution that we would submit a refund for the amount of $277.76. Our Finance Team has granted the full refund for this amount. Please allow 3-5 business days for this refund to...

reflect in your account. Please note, our team will not be able to grant any future refunds on this account, however we want to make sure you are set up for success on Indeed should you decide to post future positions. If you no longer wish to sponsor your advertisements you can keep your postings free by selecting "Post job without sponsoring" on the “Job Budget” page. If you have any questions regarding your account in the future please don’t hesitate to reach me directly. Since the disputed amount has been refunded we consider this issue resolved. Best,[redacted]

Hello [redacted] and the Revdex.com, We reached out to the client via email to explain the charges that were accrued on his account. We received the following response from the client: “Hello [redacted]Thank you for your prompt reply. However, I do not feel you have met your burden of proof to...

your allegation of me owing a debt to [redacted]” of $139.00 (One hundred thirty nine) to $119.00 (One hundred nineteen) with any clarity of understanding.  I therefore consider the issue closed. I wish you well.” We then attempted to explain one more time how the charges were accrued by providing him with his performance report which shows a day-by-day breakdown of the costs. Since the client did not respond we wrote off balance of $114.71 since this amount had not been paid. The client’s account is now disabled and we consider this issue resolved. Best,[redacted]

Dear [redacted] and the Revdex.com, As we have laid out that the account will remain disabled to [redacted] for not meeting our guidelines and this being a final decision via the Revdex.com and our Search Quality team is not a client-facing team, we will not be following up this complaint with a phone call. As previously mentioned to [redacted] via his communications with representatives at Indeed,  Indeed may reject or remove any job and may disable any company’s account, for any or no reason. We cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to undertake such the removal of any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. Kind Regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is NOT satisfactory to me.
The people who were scammed on Indeed.com called me and complained... I emailed Indeed and never heard back from them. I guess they took down the posting related to the job offer, or the user simply stopped the scam... regardless, I received over 10 calls in 2 weeks for people who got scammed.... The issue NOT addressed by Indeed.com is their LACK of vetting their postings / users... they need to be held accountable for the scam and need to change their business practices.
Regards,
