Intelius has not experienced any issues recently with processing transactions. In order to best help Mr***, he should contact our Customer Care by phone so we can research his issue further. Reports can only be purchased through our website and we do not take payment
information by phone. He may contact us toll free at (888) 445-2727. Intelius customers are presented with a two tier pricing structure when purchasing reports on the Intelius website. They have the option of paying the full price, or a discounted promotional price which includes a 7-Day Pass of the Intelius Premier Plus Membership. When a customer
selects the promotional price, they are presented the benefits of the membership and the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing. By choosing to proceed with the purchase at the promotional price, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.In this case, the promotional offer was accepted and the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass was activated Through this promotion, regardless if a customer keeps the membership active for seven days or an entire month, the first charge is charged on the seventh day. If a customer decides to keep the membership active for consecutive months, then the customer is billed the same day each month in accordance with the original enrollment date. Since Mr*** did not cancel the Intelius Premier Plus Membership within one month from the original enrollment date, he was billed for a second month.The Intelius Premier Plus Membership was canceled on 1/31/and a refund was issued for $on 2/4/2016. The refund will appear on Mr*** statement in one of the next two billing cycles, depending on the closing date. No future membership charges will occurIf Mr*** has any billing questions in the future, he may contact our Customer Care TOLL FREE at (888) 445-2727. While not required to do so, we do, as a courtesy, accept requests from individuals to opt out their personal information from our databases once they have verified their identity, usually with a government issued form of identification, such as a driver’s license
What this means is that your name as it appears in a particular record and the associated identifying information such as your address and phone number will be suppressed if you requestHowever, please note that any time your identifying information appears in a public record or in a publicly or commercially available manner, in a way that is different from the particular record you opted out, it may again appear in our databases

structure when purchasing reports on the Intelius websiteEach offer includes the standard one-time purchase price and a second discounted report price plus a one-week trial of the Intelius Premier Plus membershipIf the user elects to continue with their selected report type but does not wish to continue the Premier Plus membership they are instructed to cancel the Premier Plus membership within the first days and they will only be charged $for the Premier Plus trial membershipHowever, if the user does not cancel, the member is enrolled in the Premier Plus membership and their credit card will be charged a monthly fee of $(plus applicable taxes) going forward Intelius provides clear disclosures within the report purchase process of the Premier Plus membership offer. We were able to locate Mr***’s account with the information which was provided to us. According to our records, we don’t show a prior cancellation request for his Intelius Premier Membership. As requested, we canceled the Intelius Premier Membership on 12/10/along with the
pending charge of $19.95. Additionally, we refunded the remaining membership charges which are a total of $239.40. This will reflect on Mr***’s statement ($19.95x13) in one of the next two billing cycles, depending on the closing date. Again, all membership charges have been refunded or canceled and no future membership charges will occur.We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter and apologize for any inconvenience
