Intelius customers are presented with a two-tier pricing structure when purchasing reports on the Intelius websiteEach offer includes the standard full one-time purchase price and a second discounted report price plus a one-week trial of the Intelius Premier membershipIf the user elects to continue with their selected report type but does not wish to continue the Premier membership they are instructed to cancel the Premier membership within the first days and they will only be charged $for the Premier trial membershipHowever, if the user does not cancel, the member is enrolled in the Premier membership and their credit card will be charged a monthly fee of $going forward ? Intelius provides clear disclosures within the report purchase process of the Premier membership offer.? Below, I have outlined the process and various places in which Intelius notified Ms*** of the membership offer and details? On April 27, 2016, Ms*** purchased a discounted Nationwide Criminal Check report in the amount of $29.95, which included a 7-day trial membership of the Premier membershipMs*** was notified of this offer and trial membership when she selected his report type and again on the payment information pageAdditionally, she was required to manually select a checkbox on the payment information page before she could complete her report purchase that specifically notified her of the offer and the membership terms, including that her credit or debit card would be charged $if she did not cancel her day trial membership, a phone number to cancel her membership, that her membership benefits would continue through the last month for which she paid and that there are no refunds or partial month creditsMs*** was presented with language in the same checkbox that by clicking the button to purchase, she agreed to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (with hyperlinks to each)A copy of the purchase page is attached for your review ? Per the Terms of Service, Intelius has a no refund policyHowever, as a matter of customer courtesy, an Intelius Customer Care representative provided Mr*** with a refund of the last membership fee in the amount of $and removed Ms*** from the Premier membership program.? As an additional courtesy, I have provided an additional three months’ refund of $(x $19.95) on March 28, Mr*** should note these refunds on his account within the next days depending on his financial institution’s billing cycle and internal refund policyWe are unable to provide the ***s with any additional refunds ? selects the promotional price, they are presented the benefits of the membership and the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing.? By choosing to proceed with the purchase at the promotional price, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.In this case, the promotional offer was accepted and the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass was activated? The Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass was canceled on 2/5/2016.? The pending charge of $was canceled on 2/15/2016.? Additionally, we want Ms*** to be fully satisfied with her purchase from Intelius.? Since she was not completely satisfied with the Assisted Phone Search Report, we have processed a refund of $to her account on 2/15/2016.? This will reflect on Ms***’s statement in one of the next two billing cycles, depending on the closing date.? I am rejecting this response because:While I appreciate that the company has "temporarily" removed my info, I do not believe I should have to constantly monitor your company to see if they have collected more personal info, and therefore re-posted my info to their websites? Nor do I agree that your company should requires individuals to forward more personal info such as a driver's license to opt outFurthermore, there is absolutely no reason why my info should not remain private in a file of ? "Opt Out" individuals? Therefore, your company has shown it's true agenda? Which is to profit off of selling personal info to persons stalking individuals an (illegal activity)? And I hope one day a victim of stalking sues your company to get the laws changed? I know if I am, you better believe there will be a lawsuit

Since Google, Bing, and Yahoo are not owned by Intelius, we have no direct control over the results appearing on their websites.? We have submitted a removal request to Google.com and Bing.com on Mr***’s behalf to remove the links.? Intelius’s policy is to use all applicable means to deliver the information service to our customers.? The information we provide is gathered from selected public records and other sources.? Local, state, and federal agencies make updates to public records.? The information can come
from sources such as: marketing surveys, land deeds, catalog purchases, voter registrations, lawsuit filings, court records, magazine subscriptions, and address changes.?
