Individuals can certainly try to find this information on the internet on their own, however, Intelius gathers information that is made publicly available in one comprehensive placeWe do not warrant, however, that all of our information is current or up to date due to the reporting provided by individual states and/or counties? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I do not believe this was all made perfectly clear, I was under the impression I was paying $for specific information pertaining to ONE personI believe this language is buried in so much information that I did not understand that I was signing up to pay $a month EVERY month moving forwardFurthermore I would never have agreed to the terms much less to be automatically renewed every yearIf I had not caught this when I did I would have continued to be billed for years to come under the automatic renewalOnce again I will point out that this service was NEVER used beyond the first date in May of The simple fact that the service was never ever used beyond that point speaks volumes that I never even realized I had this service or used itAs I stated earlier, my husband paid the monthly bill and did not pay close enough attention thinking it was the billing for our number connected to our businessBelieve me I will never ever agree to anything that has to be cancelled in order to stop being billedI think companies that sign you up for repeated billing count on the fact that people do not know what they have signed up forI would seriously like to know how many people have been scammed into paying for this service without realizing itIn response to the fact the company stated I disconnected the call before it was finished when I called them is also untrueI am the one who was disconnected from the callI did not hang up, I called back directly and spoke to a different personI called back a third time and talked to yet another person.? To do this, we request that proof of identity be submitted along with the removal request.? Proof of identity can be a state issued ID card or driver's license.? When faxing or mailing a copy of a driver's license, we require that the photo and the driver's license number be crossed out.? However, we do need to see the name, address, and date of birth to ensure that all information is removed from our database.? If an individual does not feel comfortable faxing us their driver’s license or other state issued identification, they can send a notarized statement of their identity.Additionally, it is important to remember that the Opt Out procedure is temporary.? US Search is constantly updating their database with new public records.? It is possible that an individual may need to resubmit an Opt Out request for any new records that may have been added to our database since their last Opt Out request.? While we are unable to anticipate how, when, or if information will reappear on our site, we will be more than happy to remove an individual’s information upon request? They have the option of paying the full price, or a discounted promotional price which includes a 7-Day Pass of the Intelius Premier Plus Membership.? When a customer selects the promotional price, they are presented the benefits of the membership and the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing.? By choosing to proceed with the purchase at the promotional price, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.In this case, the promotional offer was accepted and the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass was activated? As requested, the Intelius Premier Plus Membership was canceled on 5/3/and a refund was issued for $29.95.? In addition to that, a refund totaling $was issued on 5/4/2016.? The refund will appear on Ms [redacted] statement ($29.95x4) in one of the next two billing cycles, depending on the closing date.? Intelius keeps all customers billing information secured and encrypted The billing information is unable to be seen in the system, it is truncated for security Unfortunately, the billing information is unable to be removed Mr***’s account has been disabled This means that his account can no longer be accessed by logging in.We appreciate your cooperation is resolving this issue and apologize for any inconvenience

Intelius customers are presented with a two-tier pricing structure when purchasing reports on the Intelius websiteEach offer includes the standard full one-time purchase price and a second discounted report price plus a one-week trial of the Intelius Premier Plus membershipIf the user elects to continue with their selected report type but does not wish to continue the Premier Plus membership they are instructed to cancel the Premier Plus membership within the first days and they will only be charged $for the Premier Plus trial membershipHowever, if the user does not cancel, the member is enrolled in the Premier Plus membership and their credit card will be charged a monthly fee of $(plus applicable taxes) going forward ? Intelius provides clear disclosures within the report purchase process of the Premier Plus membership offerBelow, I have outlined the process and various places in which Intelius notified Ms [redacted] of the membership offer and details? On February 11, 2018, Ms [redacted] purchased a discounted reverse phone search in the amount of $.95, which included a 7-day trial membership of the Premier Plus membershipMs [redacted] was notified of this offer and trial membership when she selected her report type and again on the payment information pageAdditionally, she was required to manually select a checkbox on the payment information page before she could complete her report purchase that specifically notified her of the offer and the membership terms, including that her credit, debit or PayPal account would be charged $if she did not cancel her 7-day trial membership, a phone number to cancel her membership, that her membership benefits would continue through the last month for which she paid and that there are no refunds or partial month creditsMs [redacted] was presented with language in the same checkbox that by clicking the button to purchase, she agreed to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (with hyperlinks to each) ? Intelius’ policy is to use all applicable means to deliver the information services ordered by its customers.?
