I paid this comp $14,to pay off the Nissan Sentra in September of last year and have not received the title of this vehiclereq many time
I have contacted this company on many occasions to send me the title of the car and it's been almost a year and they have not submitted this title yetMy Daughter *** Johnson cosigned for her brother *** Johnson and he stop paying for the car and she was put in jail for the vehicleI am angry because I paid the car off and they have not submitted the title yet My daughter has called and called and they promised her the title would be sent in a couple of days and still no title I need the title ASAP
If the title is not available I want a refund and the case to be closed regarding this vehicle

Company is unwilling to waive late fees for a payment

I have been requesting a certified tittle for my car and a letter of permission in order to register my car in New York for almost months I got the run around and I was not able to use my car and drive it because it wasn't registered , it's not fair I still have to pay the car note when it was there fault I was never sent the right documents when I repeatedly called for it , there interest rate is too high also for the car

The company reported me delinquent for the month of May 2017, I placed a call to the company t have this correct or adjusted and the company refused to accommodate me even with me having on time payments for years straight the company has no intention on helping the customer in no way possible

EXETER FINANCE ARE PREDATORY LENDERSI WIL BE FILING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
These people are total scammers and dishonest and very unorganizedOr maybe staff lacks education I've been financed through them since November I am in the process of rebuilding my credit In fact the first few months it boosted my score points! My payments are withdrawn by Smart Plan and sent usually business days BEFORE it's due
Starting November they started calling everyday demanding payment - and the lady who could barely speak English had the audacity to be rude and cluelessI advised "No I paid you already." I gave them proof of payment and the check numberEven a copy of the check THEY stamped and signedI even did a conference call with them and Smart PlanWe asked to speak to a manager who was ALSO CLUELESS and not helpful Apparently, they found the check because they stopped callingNow a GOOD business would have called and apologized for THEIR oversightBut nothing no follow up anything
Fast forward, December 1st, 2017they start calling AGAIN! Ummm no I'm not late and I'm NOT paying you AGAIN because I ALREADY did
So Now, my credit score has gone down points because if EXETER FINANCES bad business practices and FRAUDULENT credit reporting
I could have refinanced with my own bank after a year but the FRAUDULENT reporting set me backI had no problems for monthsIt's like they are trying to hinder me from refinancing elsewhere at a better interest rate
My next plan of action will be a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT and possibly some other type of fraud prevention action

Complaint regarding damage done when car was towed by them

I had an extended car warranty that I purchased through CarMax, that went on my car loan with Exeter that was paid off in April In November of 2017, I initiated a refund through CarMaxI was informed by CarMax that the refund would go to Exeter,and then to meI informed them that I have a new addressThey informed me to add my address info at the bottom of their request form and sign, and they would forward that information to Exeter and that my refund would be sent to my new address

Company failing to correct error in reporting
Ive spoken to them several times and they said they would send an update however none was sent

this account has not been updated correctly by exeter since my insurance company paid them the bulk of the balance in january from an accident even though ive paid out regularly
this account ought to be at a PAID IN FULL status following payments from progressive insurance, and timely payments
