Inaccurate Credit Reporting/Exeter Mistake not fixed
I currently have an auto loan, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXI am writing you today to ask for your help with two situationsOne was my fault and one was notI'll begin with the one that was technically my fault since I had entrusted my wife at the time to pay my car noteI currently serve in the Army and in October 2014, I came home from deploymentI began taking control of my bills that my now ex-wife had been overseeing in my absenceI was informed by a representative at Exeter that I was days behind on my loanI made a payment arrangement that I could afford and followed through on my arrangement as promised, but unfortunately I could only pay $more than my payment which made me technically days late for November 2014, December 2014, and January Now to the part I feel is not my fault, the first part of February I called Exeter and asked what my options were to possibly defer my paymentsAt this time Exeter

Car was totaled due to accident,account was taken over by insurance by reported late since March

Not able to reach corporate office for customer service
I have been trying to resolve an issue with being able to access my account on their website for over months nowTheir customer service is handled by a call center in India or somewhere and when I call the corporate office, all I get is sent to "reception" voice mailNever does the phone ring or do I get a call backTheir customer service has not been able to do anything to help me and I'm beyond frustrated

I was told when I began my loan that amounts paid would apply towards interest and principalI made several payments that went towards interest only

Attempts to resolve the issue directly with the dealership were met with unanswered phone calls and emailsOnce I engaged the Revdex.com, the dealership responded with empty promises in order to have my complaint closed as "resolved." I live in Mississippi and bought car in TN,I'm being charged Tennessee Late charge fees
I spoke with Manager on 01/18/about the excessive calls I receive ( up to five everyday)The Manager stated that they are a business and has rules to follow...I told this manager, that I didn't care about them calling once a week, but calls in a week is harassment
I asked the Manager about the per month late charge that has been added to my account twice and she asked me, what state do you live in,I replied MississippiShe said by MS law, I can be charged up to max $or 5%..., but because I bought this car in Tennessee, that I would have to pay the late fee penalty according to Tennessee lawI disagree completely, and she stated those are the company terms

Identity theft credit report inquiries and fraud
On XX-XX-XXXX and XX-X-XXXX my identity was fraudulently used to obtain a loanI contacted this Exeter Finance Corp to notify them of the illegal activity; investigate; and remove this from my credit reportThey refused and stated I had to contact the Revdex.com

After a recent illness,I couldn't make my regular car payment.I contacted Exeter customer service and explained this to the rep.He spoke briefly with his manager and they approved a deferrment of my loan payment for months, also the late fee was waived for the current payment.This allowed me to not have to worry about my car payment while I was recovering.They also changed the due date on my loan going forward so that I could avoid any late fees.I have been doing business with Exeter for years now and I have never had any issues with them, on the contrary, they have been very professional whenever I've had reason to speak with their customer service repsMy only issue with this company is that they do not accept credit card payments

Exeter is refusing to refund money that they threatened us into paying
I was spoke to *** ** from Exeter Finance Corporation on 11/18/I had a total loss in April of and am still being held responsible for my April payment even though I had full coverage insurance and GAP InsuranceI have contacted Exeter over and over with this time period and have been threatened with negative credit reporting if I did not pay a balance owed to meEach person I speak to has a different answer and will then state that the previous employee I spoke with gave me incorrect information as they can read the notesI can not get any resolution and was refused an opportunity to be given a chance to look at the notes written on our account

Without my knowledge, they attempted to take a payment out of my checking account twice, overdrafting me twice in a week

On 1/I called Exeter Finance to request that a title be sent to Reagle's Notary so that I could re-register my vehicle in my new state of PennsylvaniaI was informed by the agent that there was nothing I would need to do on my end to set this in motion and that he would send the request to Exeter's titling office where it would be both faxed and mailed to Reagle's Notary within to hoursTwo weeks later, on 2/2/17, Reagle's had still not received the title so I contacted Exeter again and was informed by a different agent that they had notated my account on 1/18/in regards to the fact that Reagle's would have to send a title request to ExeterThere was no follow up from Exeter between the dates of 1/18/and 2/2/to inform me that I would need to have Reagle's request the transferThere was no communication until I called to inquire whether the title had been sent to Re

Took suchLong time to get the right paper work to register my car
I have been requesting a certified tittle for my car and a letter of permission in order to register my car in New York for almost months I got the run around and I was not able to use my car and drive it because it wasn't registered , it's not fair I still have to pay the car note when it was there fault I was never sent the right documents when I repeatedly called for it , there interest rate is too high also for the car

Paid my car off in august it is now October and I still don't have the title

I checked my online account to see what the payoff amount would be prior to taking a loan out & was given an amount that DID NOT include the interestI called to confirm this amount & see why the amounts were different & was told that their online site doesn't include interestThis is completely advertisement to their customers as we look at this & the statements that we receive in the mail to make arrangements to pay or payoff our loansThe website & the call center should have the same information on both sites as to cause little to no confusion to those wanting to pay off their loans earlyI will NEVER finance with this company EVER again & STRONGLY advise anyone seeking finance options to avoid using this company EVER

This company is extremely crookedI am curious how much they have paid the Revdex.com to keep that rating with negative complaintsMost regarding collection tactics and billing issuesI had an issue where I made a payment and was told no late feeHowever they charged oneI also had an agreement no calls to my numbers yet, they call me and have a guy be a complete rude *** on the phone with meI do know the laws regarding the F.D.C.P.Asec .This was a violation in my call where they were collecting and I also received no Mini-Miranda form the gentleman attempting to collect on my phone which is a do not call number and that was verified by their customer service that the info is DNCYet they are above our agreement and the law
