I am trying to reach someone in the corporate office to go over my account
I have trying for months to get in touch with someone who can handle financing for ExeterI have been trying to work out payments due to being sold a car which is basically a lemonI was given a half car fax and the car is damaged and needs a $transmissionAnd I have barely had the car a little over a yearI have been trying to work with Exeter reps to to resolve this issue to no avail

I purchased my Kia Sorento in I believe the year I had this vehicle for about a yearI had to voluntarily give back my car due to the fact that my income changed and I could no longer afford the paymentsIt's now and I cant get a mortgage because they say I still owe over $11,for this vehicleThere's no way that could be the difference in the amount that it was then sold for and what I oweThey may say (as they have in other complaints) that this was agreed on when signing but I got no paperwork proving the amount the car was sold for and what I then owedI think they are flat out stealing from customers, knowing that they are only going with this company due to poor credit to begin with, and then being taken advantage ofI am now working with a lawyer to get this fixed

Refusing to provide a paid in full letter
I paid off a loan with them on September 4th, I called and requested a paid in full letter, as I am making another purchase and it is requiredThey indicated it would be faxed to the number I provided within hoursI waited two days and called back, they said give it another day, so I didIt has been a week and it is still not in my possessionI lost out on the other purchase I was makingWhen I call, they keep saying give it another day

Sold the vehicle my loan was onThe dealership paid the load, and Exeter proceeded to take a payment from my account anyways
Sold my vehicle March 10th, the dealership paid off the loanExeter says they received the payoff on march but they proceeded to process an automatic payment on the When I called to ask why they processed the payment and for them to refund the money to my account asap ( as it is now -99) they told me I would need to prove to them that the payment needed to be refunded ( even though they confirmed all of the facts moments before hand )

I have been paying car notes and they saying they have no payments but 405.00out of months but I have paid over they have it in repression now
Theyare trying to repossess it and still want me to pay and they can't find the money that I have already paid so I refuse to pay that until they can find out where the money is that I have already paid and now they want me to pay double and it would still be in repossion until they feel they have enough money on it.they hadn't sent anything to let me know about a repossion or when I call in a payment they take it off my card and no one said anything about a repossion when the payment was made still noone has not said that it was in repossion it has been months now they want more money and still got it under repossion

At this point I am unsure if I need to be writing you, sending a claim to the Revdex.com, attorney general, corporate or whatI am so *** off right now I can not see straight! I have been with exeter finance going on two years since november and during the month of may exeter finance would not accept my payments totatling dollars but instead charged me three nsf fee charges of and I spoke with representatives and asked why was I charged but no clear answerI could not figure out why and neither could my bank and my bank usaa agreed to verify the funds were there at the time of each transaction but exeter refused cooperation and would not accept any information I could provideI even spoke with supervisors at exeter and they would not let me get a word in during the conversationsExeter conclusion was that my bank info was incorrect but how when my account has been the same never changed at any pointMy account # is XXXXXXXNo one could explain anything to me but now ive lost in fees

This company is fraudulently refusing to report my payment history to the credit bureau
I found out on Saturday September 22, that I have been made payments on my vehicle loan and none of the have been reported to the credit burauThis company has excepted a letter from someone in Dallas Texas that I do not know and has no authorization to my account telling them not to report my paymentsThis company never contacted me but followed the directions written by a person other than myselfI have contacted the company and spoke with several different people and no one that I have spoken with is able to fix this fraudulent issueI have even sent them a letter by email requesting the payments be reportedI have not been able to find a solution with them and they just continue to make excuses for the problem instead of looking for a solution

WOW is all I can say...and no not in a good wayI have been paying on my account for a little over four years (five year note...supposedly)And at the same time I have also carried full coverage insurance, which for what ever reason...was to protect them of coarse and their loan interest...but as well to protect mineA few months ago I was involved in a fender bender...literally...bent fender...so I make the appropriate steps with my insurance company and they send me a check minus the five hundred dollar deductibleMy insurance company tells me that it was MY choice as to where and how I make the repairsNow...my family is full of qualified mechanics and the best cheapest route I found to go was to just buy a new fender at the salvage yard and get free labor to have it installedSo.....I call Exeter to enquire where I needed to send the insurance check to have it endorsed by them so that I could pay to get the parts needed to fix this carThe customer service rep tells me the address and tells me that they would just sign it and send it back out to me in business days.....it has been three week and no checkSo....I called them again to find out what the problem wasNOW they tell me that their policy is that the ONLY way they will send this back to me is after I show them proof that the repairs have been made.....which cant happen till I receive that *** check that was written by MY insurance company to make the repairsThen....they tell me that if I don't send that proof to them they will endorse the check and apply it to the principle on the loanSo...in other words...MY full coverage insurance that I PAY DEARLY for can only benefit other drivers....and EXETER FINANCE corpThis company charges ridiculous rates on loans because they are a second chance loan service to those of us who have been affected by our *** economyBut then they act like the people they give loans to should just have money in the amounts of hundreds or even thousands of dollars laying aroundThese people are straight crooksHa but the joke is on them though...because using my head I did not endorse that check either....and I am calling the insurance company to cancel that checkIf the repairs cant be made....I refuse to pay even higher insurance rates for making this claim...so that Exeter can profit off of itIf I ever am in a situation that this is the only loan company to use....I will do without whatever it is that I am trying to purchase All I was asking them to do was to send me the money back so that I could actually make the repairs needed...so now..."Their car" (yeah the Manager actually said that this car was theirs till the loan is paid offwhich yes I am aware of that but for them to say that...for the manager to say that to me was beyond unprofessional.) unauthorized credit inquiry
After viewing a copy of my consumer report, I noticed an unauthorized inquiry from Exeter FinanceI contacted the credit bureaus about this and they informed me I would need to contact the company to resolve the issueI called Exeter Finance and they informed me that they do not deal with these issuesI have a fraud alert on my credit report, so in order for someone to run my credit they need to contact me, which no one ever didThe credit bureaus also informed me that they only report what the companies relay; meaning Exeter finance requested my credit information without my consent, ignoring the fraud alert, and will need to issue a letter stating it is ok for the credit bureaus to remove the inquiry from my credit report

In March of I called and got a payoff for my vehicle I than sent the check for that amount After quite some time I never received my title so I called and they said I still had over $left to pay off I spoke with a supervisor and he said the gentleman that I spoke with did not provide me with the right information He said he would speak to his supervisor to get the matter cleared up I have been contacting them regarding this and have gotten no where My account has continued to accrue interest and they will not honor my first payoff quote I want to get my title for my car and have this matter closed

They are harassing me via phone callThey are call me repeatedly back to back within a matter off minutes often times and hanging up when I do answe
