Report day delinquency on my credit report for a fee after receiving on time payments for years

Exeter account opened has day late and has not been reported since FCRA states an account has to be verified accurate and current and even after we mailed letters to Exeter asking for account original agreement signed and complete transaction history including every single payment, fee and date of phone calls they refuse to provide itALSO the credit has not been currently updated and is violation of FCRA and being reported illegally and in noncompliance to the credit reporting lawsDemand it be deleted at once

Customer Service is misleading when it comes to payment extensions

EXETER FINANCE ARE PREDATORY LENDERSI WIL BE FILING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
These people are total scammers and dishonest and very unorganizedOr maybe staff lacks education I've been financed through them since November I am in the process of rebuilding my credit In fact the first few months it boosted my score points! My payments are withdrawn by Smart Plan and sent usually business days BEFORE it's due
Starting November they started calling everyday demanding payment - and the lady who could barely speak English had the audacity to be rude and cluelessI advised "No I paid you already." I gave them proof of payment and the check numberEven a copy of the check THEY stamped and signedI even did a conference call with them and Smart PlanWe asked to speak to a manager who was ALSO CLUELESS and not helpful Apparently, they found the check because they stopped callingNow a GOOD business would have called and apologized for THEIR oversightBut nothing no follow up anything
Fast forward, December 1st, 2017they start calling AGAIN! Ummm no I'm not late and I'm NOT paying you AGAIN because I ALREADY did
So Now, my credit score has gone down points because if EXETER FINANCES bad business practices and FRAUDULENT credit reporting
I could have refinanced with my own bank after a year but the FRAUDULENT reporting set me backI had no problems for monthsIt's like they are trying to hinder me from refinancing elsewhere at a better interest rate
My next plan of action will be a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT and possibly some other type of fraud prevention action
MY PAYMENTS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ON TIME WITH THEM AND I CAN AND WILL PROVIDE DOCUMENTED PROOF AND SMART PLAN ADVISED THEY WOULD PROVIDE ME WITH AN ADDITIONAL AFFIDAVIT TO BACK UP -THE BACK UP

I can't understand why Exeter finance takes money every month out of my Bank of America account and still have my being late car payments

Unauthorized payment was taken from our bank
This company took an unauthorized payment from our bank when we never gave them authorizationWhen we called to find out who they were and why they took the money , they were very rude and did not want to tell us any information as to why they took our moneyComes to find out we helped our daughter two months ago make a car payment and told them this is a ONE TIME authorization and to NOT use our card again and to take our card information out their computer system and out of my daughters account file This company decided that they can run our card again without our authorization and on top of taking our money my daughter made a car payment as well from her accountThey received two payments for one month! This company needs to be fined and or taken out of businessI have read all the complaints about this company and can't believe they are still in businessI told my daughter to find a new car finance company This is FRAUD!! This is the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with They do not calculate payments or interest correctly They charge a lot of fees with no exp,a nation for them When asked they say they have no answer My payments are credited and then within three days reversed When I asked why they were reversed they said maybe the funds did not clear These are payments from Money Gram, Western Union, and direct debits They are paid as cash They reverse my payments and then send repossession notices They have taken the car twice now I have reclaimed the car both times Both times the very next day they are telling me I am already five months that behind I asked them how is that so if I just paid all this money to be caught up and get the car back Still no answer from them They use illegal collection practices I have called from friends and families land lines when I could not use my cell phone only to have them start calling the person who let me use their phone to collect on my account They have gone to my children'should homessage in the night with flashlights looking in their buildings I advised them I do not live at those houses and they need to stop harassing my children I would strongly advise against anyone using this company

The company not very willing to work to resolve customer issues when seeking help

I recently refinanced my auto loan with another company Payoff check was sent to Exeter and cashed on 10/26/ I called today and the CS rep informed they received the check and that the loan for my acct# was overpaid by my new lender for the amount of $ She said it takes 30-days for a refund to be issued I asked why it would take so long and she says it is their policy to wait to send the refund This business was really quick to cash the payoff check but to hold onto the refund that is owed seems scandalous I asked if refund could be expedited and she said sorry no This is their policy If you are quick to cash the payoff check then you should be quick to return the overage that was paid to your company Why are you holding onto money that is not yours? I want my refund check ASAP, report to credit agency that my account has been paid in good standi
