A couple comments which in the end are just that comments about LA Fitness and the slimy way they do business. I did receive two calls from [redacted] at LA Fitness. One requesting the ID's proving that I moved to [redacted] I was willing to provide in person but they wouldn't accept. Two, is a call trying to negotiate a payment of roughly $300. That call ended with me not accepting the $300 and her telling me there was nothing else they could or would do. I never received another call but I did receive all the money owed me back to my [redacted] Scummy way to do business but after the fight and your help they paid me what I was owed and I am thankful for your help.

As of the time of this response, LA Fitness has not received any of the payments owed by member since 12/30/14. Since it is apparent that she now has no intention to fulfill her contractual obligation to the remaining personal training agreement term, we have released her from her obligation to make the remaining payments due under her agreement. Additionally, LA Fitness will not pursue her for the outstanding balance she currently owes. Please note that we are not contractually obligated to provide this remedy, but this is being done as a customer service consideration for our member.

However as a courtesy an immediate cancellation has been processed and a refund in the amount of $59.90 has been refunded back to the Novus card. Refunds take about 7-10 business days to be refunded. I have had one call from LAfitness. This call occurred while I was at work and unable to answer. I work as a therapist in a nursing home and am unable to answer most calls between 8 and 5. LAFitness does not answer calls after 5:PM. With all of their locations and allof their employees, there is nobody that can answer the phone number listed on the web page for managing situations such as mine. They offered to stop billing in March as opposed to stopping the billing prior to that time. They also did not offer to return the payments made recently to me . I NEVER authorized them to withdraw this money which they say I have . I would like to see a copy of this alleged "permission" that authorized this recent transaction. I want a refund of all recent debits for the monthly fee , though I doubt they will do so. I consider this theft or fraud
