There is no provision in member’s personal training agreement that allows her to terminate the agreement early if she moves, regardless of how far it may be from an LA Fitness locationHer agreement does include a voluntary cancelation provision, which affords her the option to unilaterally cancel at any time, for any reason, by paying only 50% of the remaining balance due under the agreementHowever, LA Fitness is willing to reduce the cancellation fee from 50% down to 33% of the remaining agreement balancePlease note that we are not contractually obligated to provide this remedy, but this is being offered as a customer service consideration for our memberMember may contact her local club or our Member Service department at [redacted] to process payment

I am not satisfied with the response by LA Fitness since they are unable to own up to the fraud committed by their employee and their company in an effort to deceive me into signing up for a month personal training contract. I will NOT be satisfied until the money is refunded for the purchase that I did not authorize. Perhaps they should actually look at the initials for the contract. They are clearly forged. The initials next to "tax" are not even the correct initials. They are ** and my initials are *** Each of the initials on the contract are not even consistent with the others. The initials next to month looks like it was scribbled by a second grader. Now I'm no handwriting expert, but it does not take one to figure out that these are not even the same initials, one is even the incorrect initials. Clearly they are forged. Perhaps LA fitness should just own up to their issue with this. The ex-employee who committed the fraud has recently been fired by his new employer and even bragged about his slimy tactics while at LA Fitness to sign people up for things that they did not purchase. I am sure I am not the only person he did this to. Forgery is ILLEGAL!!!. FYI - that ex-employee is currently is the *** *** ***. Needless to say, he is not the most upstanding citizen
