Management spoke to Ms [redacted] on 6/30/15, she claims she was advised that the time of joining she can bring a guest in that is offering training to Ms [redacted] This goes against our company policy and we apologize for her being misinformedA full refund has been processed in the amount of $back to the [redacted] cardRefunds take about 5-business days to be refundedAn immediate cancellation has been processedThis matter has been resolvedThank you

Our District Operations Manager contacted member regarding her concernsWe appreciate her feedback, apologize for her experience and we have addressed her concerns with the staff members involved accordinglyWe cancelled the remaining term of her personal training agreement with no further billing or obligation and processed a refund for her remaining personal training sessions

LA Fitness processed an additional refund for the initial payment of $(refund applied to the same account used for payment)Please allow 5-business days for the refund to post to the account

Management reviewed the request for a refund againMs [redacted] states that she came in and cancelled on May 8th which was confirmed via her receipt for membership cancellation with an expiration date of 6/26/Furthermore, we reviewed the agreement and the agreement requires that a notice be given prior to the billing date in order to be eligible for a refundOur previous response still stands and Ms [redacted] is not entitled to a refundNo further action will be takenThank you

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear LA Fitness has never addressed the original complaintThe original complaint remains the company representive who convinced me to purchase their training servicesI told the sales person numerous times wanted months of training, The sales person fraudulently changed the term of the contract from months to months and didn't tell me he was changing the contract length I tried numerous times to get the contract amended to the original term of months I originally requested and was told by every person I talked to at the fitness club or on the phone they did not have the authority to change the contact lengthWhen I finally spoke with someone who claimed to be a regional Vice President, he refused to amend the contract When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he refused to put me in contact with his supervisor, nor provide me with his supervisors contact information He informed me my only remedy was to sue LA Fitness in court The practice of changing contract lengths without informing the customer appears to be common practice The company has lost several class action suites and paid customers millions of dollars because of fraudulent practices, and is currently facing another class action suite in CaliforniaIf the company is unwilling to change the length of my contract to the length I originally requested, I don't see where I have any option but to take the company to court Regards, [redacted]

Mangement spoke to Mr [redacted] on 10/6/regarding the cancellation of his membership and Taylor Reaus membershipA cancellation was processed for both memberships and no further billing will occurA refund in the amount of one month for each membership has been processed with a total amount of $back to the MasterCardRefunds take about 5-business days to be refunded backMembers are satisfiedThank You

Our District Vice President contacted member regarding her concernsAs member acknowledged, all sessions purchased must be completed within days after the end of the initial agreement termHowever, LA Fitness has agreed to extend the completion date of the remaining sessions for an additional year, through 1/17/

Management contacted member regarding experience at club with local management when member was informed of account balance and expirationWe advised member that upon joining, she agreed to the terms of a three year paid in full membership with set post dated paymentsAs a courtesy, we will allow member to pay the remaining balance on 5/2/and 6/2/ An exception was extended to member to allow usage of the club prior to full balance being collectedMember was assured that experience with staff at local location was addressedMember is satisfiedThank you

LA Fitness appreciates members feedback and apologize for her experienceThis is not representative of the experience we want any of our members to haveHowever, the circumstance does not relieve member of her contractual obligations and it should be noted that the trainer is no longer with the companyIn addition, LA Fitness can provide member with the services for which she contracted at any of our other club locations if she does not feel comfortable returning to this particular clubIf she no longer wishes to continue with her personal training agreement, her agreement includes a voluntary cancelation provision, which affords her the option to unilaterally cancel at any time, for any reason, by paying only half of the remaining balance due under the agreementLA Fitness will honor this provision of her agreement should member elect to take advantage of itOtherwise, member should be expected to honor her agreement as LA Fitness stands ready to provide the services for which she contracted

Management contacted [redacted] regarding the cancellation of her monthly dues fitness membership [redacted] stated she cancelled both her training and fitness membership on 6/24/The history on [redacted] ’s account reflects that a cancellation was completed on her training membership However, there is no history regarding receipt of a cancellation request for her fitness membershipAs a courtesy, a cancellation was completed on her fitness membership and a refund was processed back to her [redacted] card on file in the amount of $Refunds typically take 5-business days to complete We also received a chargeback for the monthly billing processed on August 1, and have agreed to accept the dispute as part of the resolution [redacted] received an additional credit of $processed through her financial establishmentWe believe this matter to be resolvedThank you
