I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr.[redacted] received the package early in the morning. He did not email me until after 4:pm eastern time. When he emailed me the first time, his question simply was "What is your reason for the return?" After I expressed that I didnt not like it is when he decided to email me back and say it was damaged.
After reviewing the Revdex.com history on this company and seeing that he has done this to other customers as well at least 6 since December, I came to realize this man is running a scam.
I filed a complaint with the CEO of Best Buy as well as the FBI's IC3 department for Fraud. I also contacted Newport Beaches authorities reporting him.
I am a decorated officer of 17 years. I'd be a fool to lie in regards to this situation.
Attached are my photos of the laptop which is in tact.
Only a fool would purchase a laptop, damage it, then return it asking for a refund knowing that it is damaged. This guy needs to come up with better stories.  What occurred here is that Mr. [redacted] was unhappy with the fact that I was not happy and disliked the item. Therefore either;
1. Damaged the laptop himself then took photos as Mr. [redacted] is an IT tech
2. Took photos of an already damaged product which he will need to provide the serial number for.
Mr. [redacted] has done this numerous times. If this problem is not resolved, My wife an I will make it our priority to continue to pursue shutting down his business. My wife is a Paralegal attorney. We will get in contact with all other complainant's, we will build suit against Idolian with these complainants, and we will also involve my Sister in Law, who is the editor for NYC's very PIX 11 news so that she may expose this crook.
Mr. [redacted] should be very careful who he tries to double cross and steal from.

To whom it may concern,For all third party marketplaces we only provide a 30 day return period. For all of our listings we state that there is only a 30 day warranty given to the customers. As for the shipping information we do not change any addresses, we use the one that the marketplace...

provides us. We do not charge the customer or process the order, we only receive them. When we ship out our items we use our JemJem logo box and we provide them with a slip stating that is is sold and ship by JemJem, so the customer was aware that this was from a third party market vendor. Also, because this order is from November we could not provide the customer with a RMA because he first contacted us in March, which passes the 30 day mark.

We recieved the order from [redacted] on the 14th as we are not open on the weekend. We are allowed 24 hours to package and ship the item as per [redacted]'s seller agreement. We are only able to ship the exact make and model of what the customer ordered, so were not even allowed to offer different devices. The issue is again that we were out of stock and could not send the customer a defective item. I am attaching an image to show you our inventory to verify that we are out of stock. I am also sending another screenshot of the listing to show that we've been taken off of it because we are out of stock.  If we had the item we would have loved to sell it to the customer. During the phone call on the 15th we tried to advise that they purchase another item or the same item from one of our competitors since we were out of stock.

ordered an refurbished iphone 5S on their website on Sunday. received it on
thursday in NYC area. opened box looked it over, it was scuffed up on frame of phone but not too badly to care. tried to hook it up over phone, with provider AT&T, with provided sim card. after hour and a half SIM was not working. went to AT&T storefront got new card and phone was working. go home and notice that there is no fingerprint touchID option to set up. then compared it to my own broken 5s and see that it doesnt match. They sent me a iphone 5 not a iphone 5s. I looked over my order conformation and it states 5S-. I call them at 3pm CA time and speak to a person there. I was kinda feeling like maybe jemjem.com might be a doing a bait and switch scam. they offer a very minor credit if I was to keep the wrong phone. I was not interested in keeping a 5 no matter what they offered me, (once u TouchID you cant go back.) . I was told they dont have the 5s in the color I wanted. so they offered to send another color. which I agreed to.
now the kicker. the supervisor who needed to approve it was gone for the day. so I was told to call back in AM. (now its friday 1pm NY time). I call back and was on hold for over 20 mins. got Matthew who I had spoken to the day before. and he put me on hold for 5mins while he explained to his supervisor "the debacle". she picks up and and tells me the only way to send back the phone is w UPS ground, (not the 2day w post office the way it was sent). I did not want to wait a week or 2 (maybe 3) for them to get and exchange the phone. and then send back. bc I was told that it takes 3 days to take a phone out of a box, and then two more days for them to take the right phone and put it in a box, mail it again. maryjane or what her ever name was, told me there was no monday UPS deliveries in NEWPORT BEACH, CA EVER. and also since it is friday it would just sit in NY if they sent air mail instead of ground shipping and it will get there at the same time any way. bc she sayes"air mail doesnt move with ups on the weekends at all" HUH? okay doubt that- or actually know that is just plain wrong.
the supervisors BIG FAVOR to me that was offered was, they wanted me to sign a form and send it back signed. then I should go to paypal and put a hold on my card for the new phone and they would send it out before they received the other one back, I just dont want to do that bc WTF? I could understand if it was sent correct and was damaged, or something else. BUT They as a company should air mail when they mess up and try get it taken care of as quickly as possible. It already looks shady you sent wrong and a cheaper phone. and a lot of what is on their site Matthew didnt have in-stock. when I agreed to a 5s in an opposite color then I had ordered, the day before. I am also glad I didnt agree bc I have been looking at some other reviews out there and seems like a common issue is waiting over thirty days for a refund after they receive back the merchandise. the supervisor was rude and and a snot. she made it seem as if they were doing me a favor and hung up the phone mid-conversation. SO in the long-run, RUN far from this place, bc they are not what they say or seem and can become huge waste of time, in your life next.
never once did she apologize for their mistake. and see for yourself this place has plenty of similar stories out there on the web. which has me thinking they may want to rename themselves scamscam.com. IF THEY DONT REFUND THE $ in the 3days after they get the product I WILL MOVE on to the complaints.

The order was placed on 11/24 and was shipped. The customer requested a return and said that it was locked and defective. When we received and processed on 1/16 the item was not locked or defective, but we issued an exchange as our return policy states that customers have 30 days from date of...

delivery to to send the device back to us for a refund, and 90 days to send the device back to us for a replacement.

To whom it may concern,We provided the customer the RMA and a return label. It takes 24-72 hours for us to check and revise the RMA's and then send them to the technician that processes the exchanges.As we test out our devices to make sure they are fully functioning it may take up to a...

week to send them out. If the customer thinks it is "ugly" for a cosmetic issue we are seller refurbished. So we checked her item when we received it and it worked perfectly fine. But we still reimbursed all the funds back into her account. This process can take up to 10 days.

We state the refund will be processed within 24 hours, not the funds will be added into the account in 24 hours. The bank takes longer than 24 hours at times.
The customer wanted an exchange then a refund, we were processing the exchange at the time she changed her mind. And by the end of the day, she received what she requested a refund.

As of today I have not been refunded any money at all from this company. What type of company doesn't return money but they tell stories as if they have refunded my money. I have confirmation they got their package back Aug 1 and as of today Aug 16, I HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED ANY MONEY

Hello!When a customer makes a purchase from our website they are aware of our 30 day return period. It is stated before they make the purchase. This order was placed in November 30, 2015 and was received December 3, 2015. This order exceeds the 30 days by a maximum period. We offer extended warranties that go as low as 9 dollars which the customer refused to purchase. At this time we cannot replace, or refund the customer.

To whom it may concern,I have looked through our records and we have no emails from the customer. No records show that he has tried to contact jemjem within the 30 day warranty period. But [redacted] contacted us after the 30 grace period and the only thing we can do is a one time exchange.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I BOUGHT A REFURBISHED GEEK SQUAD CERTIFIED IPOD TH GENERATION FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR HER BIRTHDAY WHICH WAS ON OCTOBER 20. I PURCHASED THIS IPOD AND RECIEVED IT ON 9/08/2015. SHE OPENED IT ON OCTOBER 20,2015 AND IT WAS STUCK ON HEADPHONE MODE FROM THE START!!! NO SOUNDS, NO NOTIFICATIONS. JUST STUCK ON HEAD PHONE MODE WITH OPUT EVER USING HEADPHONES!! I PURPOSELY BOUGHT A GEEK SQUAD CERTIFIED PRODUCT SO THAT I WOULDNT HAVE A PROBLEM AND HERE I AM WITH A PROBLEM. 8-11 from JemJem-unable to pull up order need full name and alternate order #
Aug 13 What is the alternate order #-sent full name, address and sales receipt number
8-13-please send email, full name and order number
Aug 13 -told them I already sent that information
Aug 13- Informed them I did not wish to have the Iphone 5 back, I would like different model
Aug 17th sent copy of sales receipt
8-17 will send you RMA number by email from USPS for you to print to return your item
Aug 19th-As soon as I get that email I will return the phone
Aug 26- Never rec'd email from USPS- I paid to have the phone shipped back with 2 day shipping-supplied tracking number
8-28-Once they received the phone back they would take care of return.
Sept 4-I haven't heard anything from you and it has been one week. You should have had the  phone last friday. What is the status of my order? I do not want the Iphone 5, there  is a flaw with that phone charging

Sept 16 Contacted [redacted] Marketplace since they allow him to do business on their website. They said they would email me after speaking with him.
9-16-[redacted] informed me that he would not give refund because Item was more than 30 days old. I said he is lying because He mailed this phone to me on 9-3/they said if I could prove that they would give me my money back. I sent them a copy of the package to me and also told them I reported him to Revdex.com. At that time they said they would not be able to help me since I would be dealing with Revdex.com.
At this time I still have the phone, which I went to apple store to see if it was me or the phone. I asked them if they could tell if phone was froze or didn't charge. They plugged charger into phone that had a current reader and said it didn't pull enough current to charge.

To whom it may concern, Upon taking a further look into this customers order number we have provided them with the return merchandise authorization number along with a return label. We did let the customer know that they are not able to contact us by our own e-mail or phone number because...

groupon does not allow their customers to have conversations with us unless it is all recorded through their website. This is the reason we told the customer we can only respond to their ticket. However, we have a high volume of orders which prevents us from responding to them every minute. When we check the tracking number of the return label we provided them, they have not yet returned their package.
