In December the customer was complaining about her oil pan being damaged by our store in [redacted] , VaI responded to the customer's complaint in several emails stating that it wasn't fair for our company to pay for a bill that we never got to talk to the dealership or tech that repaired the vehicleWe never got an opportunity to look at other options to even supply the part to fix the vehicle instead the customer took upon herself to repair thinking our company would just pay the billI will do some homework to find out what it would have cost us if they would have called us before installing a new oil panThank you for your time

*** [redacted] contacted us this morning (1/27/13) letting us know he had had a problem with his car that he thought it was caused by our servicing of it It appears he at nearly the same time contacted the Revdex.com and sent our corporate office a copy of his complaint As soon as we were aware of this complaint we called the dealership where he told us where his vehicle was and found out what they thought was the problem The [redacted] and [redacted] talked to [redacted] *** and then reviewed the video of the service where it was determined that we had spilled oil on his vehicles engine, them tried to clean it up and apparently failed We then called the dealership back and asked them to repair his car ASAP and that we would pay the bill We then called [redacted] back and told him that after reviewing the video, it appeared we did spill some oil on his engine and that it certainly could have caused his problem and that we would pay the bill HIs car will be finished in the afternoon He also asked us to refund the money he had paid for his service and we also agreed, as it seemed the right thing to do I do apologize that [redacted] has had this problem and just hope he gives in the future he gives us a chance to prove we are better at this than we just demonstrated Along with paying the dealership, refunding him his money we will in-close a gift certificate for a future service to prove we are better at this then recently demonstrated Sincerely, Charles Wixson VP of Operations

We waited for a phone call from the owner of the company as the driver instructed and we did not receive the phone call from the ownerThe driver stated that they repaired the frame 1st thing the next morningif we were going to look at the frame that we supposedly damaged why would you have it repaired 1st thing in the morning? We were not even able to service the vehicle due to the size of the said frameWe do not have an issue in taking care of something if we damaged it, but when we ask to investigate and we are denied the ability to do so and repairs are completed at your own facility so we cant look at the "damage" it makes it hard to accept any liability in this matter

The first application was submitted with errorsThe co applicant will submit their own application in the next few months once his credit report updatesThe income discrepancies is due to best estimates I provided based on multiple streams of income which I receive including; work, rent, dividends, and other investmentsI can prove my income with pay stubs and bank depositsI was trying to give my best estimate when the broker asked me what my total income wasThe 15,is rent and dividend income for the yearMy work income varies from 78,to 87,per year depending on overtimeI'm willing to send or bring proof and documentation to the local dealership in New York or New Jersey where the application was submitted to get an approvalThe application was submitted multiple times by the broker with lower costs in an attempt to get an approvalI wasn't aware how many times exactly.Can we resolve this quickly somehow?

The assistant manager waited on [redacted] The following is the information given from the assistant managerThe customer was informed that the deposit was non-refundable in the beginning.The woman stopped into the store to return the camera.? This camera was brand new, in the box and had all the parts and pieces.? It is here in the store and has been tested and there is nothing wrong with it.? When she originally got the camera, she stated it was a short term use.? She has given different stories as to what it was being used for.? When she was in the store, she was asking a lot of questions about what was covered if something were to happen.? We figured that she was going to use it and try to bring it back for a refund, but we went ahead and rented to her.? She was told she needed a week non refundable deposit for us to get the camera in, which she paid.? She had the camera for a day.? She brought the camera back, said it didn't work and was missing pieces.? I offset that by explaining that the camera was brand new and all the parts were in the box.? Then she stated that we lied to her and told her it had a bunch of features that it did not have.? It was one excuse after another.? She said that she just wanted her money back.? I explained that the deposit was non refundable, but she could keep the camera until the payment was due again or she could choose another item and I could apply her money as credit to that item.? I never gave her an amount.? I explained that the unused rental payment would be applied to another item in place of the camera, but I could not do a cash refund.? She got upset and asked for corporate's number and left the stored.? I offered several times and ways that she could use the unused rent in the store, but she was not having any of it.? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There are NO conflicting stories.The [redacted] shop handed me the part as soon as they were able to remove it My oil drain plug had been overtightened and the threads were missing As per George B [redacted] (Revdex.com responder) at Jiffy Lube in my phone conversation with him, the threads could NOT have been stripped by removing the plug The damage was clearly done at the Jiffy Lube in Roswell I'm 100% certain of that Torque wrenches will simply force a plug in if it's not threaded in correctly by hand first That is what happened here The oil filter was also overtightened but no damage was done, thankfully So much for ultra high tech torque wrenches - ha! I need to repair the damage -- which can only be done by replacing the pan itself My local Jiffy Lube will not even perform oil changes with the "piggyback" plug which is in my vehicle now They told me that there is only a 50/chance that they would be able to get a plug like that back in Replacing the drain pan will cost me $at my regular mechanic's shop I made calls to other garages for estimates to find out if that is the going rate and it is Jiffy Lube should show some respect for the loyal customer that I have been for decades I have spent thousands on oil changes and repairs over the years -- and would continue doing so I will not be returning to any Jiffy Lube in the future (I travel a LOT) if this is not resolved I have offered to have the repair done at a Jiffy Lube shop near me instead of my regular mechanic (which I trust more) That seems like fair compromise for what has been done to my vehicle I have wasted a lot of time on this "project" of seeking to be compensated for what I rightfully deserve I would imagine that repairing my vehicle at a Jiffy Lube should would cost only a couple hundred dollars (no markup) and redeem my respect for the company enough to patronize these shops going forward and not post negative on-line reviews That seems like money wisely spent by Jiffy Lube for damage that they clearly caused Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

I have reviewed the rental agreements for [redacted] and the Milford Rent-2-Own storeShe did have laptops she purchased from the Milford store through the Rent-2-Own rental processOne of the laptops in question was paid off on 7/23/and the other one paid off on 10/3/We? service all products that are still on rent for our customers, but once they pay out we no longer service them.? The Club program we offer will extend the service warranty on any product that has paid off only during the first year after it's pay out dateAnd [redacted] does have the club warranty plan? So the club extended warranty service for her computers ended on 7/24/for one and 10/4/for the otherSo both of them have been paid out over the year allowable time frameWhile her computers were on rent we did service her computer times and provided her with a free loaner on both times while her computer was getting fixedBoth issues were? software related.? First, I would like to apologize again that this matter even happened, clearly we could have handled it better The requested refund check that the customer had been waiting for was delivered by mail the day after they made this complaint Our District manager has called the customer and apologized as well as reprimanded the manager for his poor handling of this incident We have also just mailed from the office a gift certificate that they may used in the future as an additional apology for our apparent short customer service skills and with the hopes that they will allow us to prove to them we are better at this job than demonstrated [redacted] VP of Operations Virginia Lube

To whom it may concern:After speaking with the crew members and watching the video surveillance of this service, everything happened the way our manager stated it didDuring our final safety inspection, his elbow brushed up against the radiator hose and it popped offWe explained it to the customer as soon as it happened, and we don't feel that this was due to any negligence on our partWe are not going to refund the service or apologize for lying, since its not the case

The first 2 paragraphs under your complete rights deal with warranty service. It states that you should return to the service center that performed the service. It also states that you must retain a sample to support the claim. The dealer did not save anything from their service.

We have worked with [redacted] on a couple of projects now, our house years ago and a barn addition this year He works very hard to ensure he delivers what the customer desiresWe had to make several revisions to satisfy building permitting, and [redacted] was very accommodating and quick, working with the county to help us get our permit fast While he is most familiar with El Paso county, he has done work (ours included) for Douglas county properties
