Move date was scheduled weeks in advance, the morning of was told they aren't coming, despite multiple calls the day prior, multiple calls/hours spent Had arranged the POD to be moved 5/31, received call the morning before to update my card's expiration date and I did so and received a confirmation codeI was then told to wait for my pick up window, called several more times that evening and was promised the Pod would be moved, they did not have a time yet-was told I would get a time in the morningMorning of 5/(closing on old and new properties and therefore will no longer own address where Pod is currently sitting after 9am that day) I am told my pick up date was "Kicked out for some reason" no valid explanation could be given, was on the phone for over an hour, was told they best they could do is first thing 6/1, requested a refund and was told the resolutions dept would contact me within hours (this never happened)Luckily we were still able to close as the buyers agreed

This is our family's 4th move with PODS and complete disappointment with lack of customer service.Our POD has been "misplaced" for days.No response Nobody can locate our PODShould have been directly shipped from [redacted] , [redacted] POD has now been missing for days and all we get is constant run around with where it is and constant rescheduling emails PODS list the following as part of their core values; Trustworthy, Control, Security, Safety, Flexibility and Convenience All of those have been a misrepresentation of their own beliefs This problem began from the own set of even getting the POD delivered when it was scheduled and pickwhen it was scheduled We have now be out thousands of dollars from because of PODS lack of doing what they taut as their core values They have lied, been caught in lying We have given them slack and understand as mistakes happen but now we have to elevate this because we are being taken advantage of

Gave us information in order to gain our business when we wouldn't have used their business otherwise then refused to reimburse PODS LLC has all of the relevant details as to dates and numbers and sales reps...My wife and I were going to use PODS to move across the countryWe thought we were going to end up in northern Idaho but when we realized we may end up in Montana we asked (and they verified this through phone recording) if it would be possible to get our POD delivered to Montana instead of IdahoThe sales repsaid yes and never asked for a zip codeThey don't deliver anywhere in MontanaHad they told us that they do not deliver to Montana then we would have not used their service and would have driven a Uhaul instead but we were willing to pay more for PODS for the convenienceSince we were told that they would deliver to Montana then we went ahead with their services just to find out two months later that they don'tWe were then forced to rent a uhaul and drive f

When I loaded my PODs in October 2016, I expressed concern about the condition of the roof of one of the PODs as it was an older model with a plastic roof and these were eventually going to be transported to San Francisco When I accessed my PODs in January, there were holes in the roof in that POD and my fabric sofa that was professionally wrapped was wet I asked PODs what they wanted me to do with the wet sofa as I could not repack it without risk to the rest of my items They said they could not tell me but to take pictures if I decided to throw it away I did not want to throw it away as it was expensive and could be cleaned I decided to take it to my current home about 1/hours away from SD to let it dry and await instructions from PODs and informed them that this sofa belonged in [redacted] eventuallyI had a move scheduled in February in [redacted] so transported my PODs there PODs finally got back to me toward the end of Feb and said they would pay for the cleaning but not the

Beware of the contents coverage PODS is a convenient way to store your belongings while you are house-hunting and moving out of an areaIt beats having to use a storage facility as you do not have to load and unload a storage unit off of your premisesThe gripe is in the monthly storage fee and the complete lack of communication from the customer service agent in regards to the insurance coverage ($10,in coverage)I was quoted a monthly fee of $for a ft POD which included contents coverage of up to $10,At no time did the customer service agent state that this was an OPTIONAL coverage that you can declineIt was rolled up into the quote as standard practice without discussionThis contents coverage (insurance) is $49.95/month-- an additional 20% fee on top of the $POD fee for the 12ft unitI did not know that this was optional until I had arranged for my POD to be delivered after months of storage and the agent reviewed my invoice and stated that I had the optional coverage in addition to the POD feeIt was then that I began to ask about this "Optional" coverageI filed a grievance, asked for a return of the $for months because I did not have the option to decline, and was told that I had to wait a minimum of days for a customer resolution specialist to determine whether or not I had a case The customer resolution specialist contacted me this afternoon (days later)She informed me that PODS would not be reimbursing for the coverage fee as it is not a standard practice for the customer service agents to make it known that this is an OPTIONAL fee and that you can opt outI asked if I can get a transcript of the original conversation with the customer service agent that took my initial call so that I could clearly see that they did not present this as an "option" but rather part of the monthly fee- she stated that I would need to obtain a subpoena as these transcripts are proprietary and can only be used by PODS The contents coverage is not detailed in the FAQ's regarding "how much does it cost?" nor on the websiteIt is hidden in the fine print amongst the minutia of lawyer-speak and jibberishThis is a slimy sales tactic that adds profit to their bottom line and fleeces the customer baseYes, contents coverage is a great option to have BUT it needs to be presented as an OPTIONNot everyone needs to insure their contents- especially at a 20% premiumIt would be an honest (and transparent) customer service if your agents would discuss this fee as an "addition" to the standard monthly fee This is a company that charges a fee to store your belongings in a psuedo shipping container but they scam you like a stock-traderTerrible customer serviceTerrible business practices

They are not following through on delivering our items, not willing to listen to our complaints, and charging us for dates that we did not agree to We had our POD delivered on April 25, We loaded all of our belongings in and it was picked up April 30, From this date on, we have had nothing but problems We called approximately a week later and told them that we would like our POD delivered in days (you have to give them days notice) We settled on May 17, for our delivery date POD took the money out of our account, but then they randomly put the money back into our account We called them on I believe Thursday May 12th and asked them why the money was put back into our account They told me that we had called and canceled our delivery, which we absolutely did not do They told us our new delivery date had to be Saturday the 21st which I told them was completely unacceptable They did not show any sympathy, as they told me it was my fault for canceling

Sales rep verified that delivery address updated after $2K contract signed for a "nominal" fee Nominal fee was assessed at over $1K (50% increase) Two discussions were held with PODS sales rep on pricing a move for a long distance move My initial contact was to compare PODS costs to other options for moving between [redacted] City area and the [redacted] area I discussed that my final delivery address was not known at the time as a I was moving to one of two ranches, for which my final contracts were being negotiatedHowever, I described the location of the area as ~miles south east/southeast of [redacted] TX The sales rep confirmed that the delivery area could be supported and the final delivery address could be updated after I signed the contract and the POD with my personal goods were delivered to the [redacted] PODS facility for a "nominal" fee We agreed that the [redacted] zip code was to be used for the quotation in the original contractThe sales rep indicated that the nomina

The delivery of my PODS were delayed In the week leading up to my expected date of delivery, I called PODS to verify their deliverI called on Monday, 2/and was assured they were on track to arrive on timeI called again on Friday 2/to ensure they would meet their 2/delivery dateI was then told that they were having technical issuesI was called back and told the PODS were delayedI then discovered that PODS has a new IT system that has been causing internal errorsIf this is true, and the PODS representatives knew it, then they should have called to verify my delivery on Monday rather than just checking their systemIt was negligence on their part, if they knowingly had an IT problem, not to call their logistics department and verify the scheduling of my shipmentThis negligence has now effected my family emotionally, physically, and financiallyThis is not a routine error, but negligence on the part of the company

One of there franchises moved my pod to another storage location without my permissionThen charged me for this services, and would not correct it I had my pod deliver scheduled to be at my house on the 3rd of JuneI received message at 4:pm from the location saying that they had the incorrect zip code, and asked me to call the driverI called at 4:pm, and another times with no answer or voice mail availableI then called the main office and was told it would be delivered to my house with no problemsAfter my Pod was not delivered, and I did not have the items I needed when I needed them, I called again to find out they charged me $for moving it to another locationI spent weeks calling and so many hours on hold with no correction of the billingThey said they would call me back I would never get a call or email, but I did get over invoices in one dayThis is by far the worst experience I have had dealing with a company in the years I have been alive

Scheduled delivery of POD has been changed timesPOD is sitting in a wear house miles away from location Scheduled and paid for PODS to move a container from [redacted] , FL to [redacted] ,WVInitial pick up and transport was to take daysPODS called with a delay getting trucks permits through VA so they rescheduled delivery on Aug Aug 10th I was notified of another delay and delivery is now Aug 15thFor the $it cost me for this move, I feel I should be compensated or credited on my account for their scheduling and truck permit errors

I received an inaccurate quote and was charged $more than the quoted price for receive service I had originally requested I had a great experience working with the [redacted] officeTheir drivers were great and I have no complaints with themHowever, I am extremely dissatisfied with the fact that I received an inaccurate quote (which I used to budget my move and house), and was subsequently charged more for the move I had asked for in the first place, but almost another $for them to fix their mistakeIt was then almost $more than the move I had originally requestedI will not be recommending this company to anyone I am associated with, but instead deterring themI wish I could recommend just the [redacted] office, but if corporate office can't provide sufficient service, it ruins it for the local office

It appears after months of harassment they would rather sell my things than accept my payment I have used PODs in the past and had an excellent experience When this transaction went south I was very surprised I have been over charged and locked out of my account so I can't pay my bill Now they will auction my things because I wasn't able to call them before 4:30pm and even when I did I wasn't able to be transferred before the department I was supposed to talk to left for the day Very bad customer service I have asked to have a supervisor contact me since September and yet it never happened
