Horrible every step of the wayThe guy I talked to while ordering had no clue what he was talking aboutFirst he quoted me the price without tax and said that it included taxI spent about minutes on the phone with him while he took down notes for the driver, I later learned he failed to actually take any notesSo when they came to pick up my loaded pod from my gated apartment complex of course they couldn't get in so they just leftI called and talked to at least different people including a supervisor and they all were extremely rudeThey said there's no way they can come back to pick up the pod until days later and insisted I was lying about giving the driver notesFinally they said they would review the issue and about days later after listening to the recorded call they say yes you did give the driver notes and the associate you talked to failed to put them inDuhAll they could give me was $back from my order of over $I was moving from Florida to Wisconsin and this really messed up my plansNot to mention the apartment complex was furious with me for leaving a pod taking up parking spaces in their lot for nightsHorrible customer service and I highly recommend against using themThis was only of many troublesWay better moving companies out there

I entered into a contract with PODS for a long distance move between Carlsbad and Bethesda MD as part of a military move. This facility was instructed numerous times, and confirmed numerous times, that a full weight ticket of he POD and truck MUST be performed in order to provide an accurate weight to the Navy House Hold Goods Division for reimbursement of the moving related expenses. The weight ticket was time stamped in the corporate office as having been performed. I called the national office every other day for 4 weeks (between April and May of this year) to confirm that it had been done, and to request that the weight ticket be sent to me. The storage unit leaked and ruined my furniture and they said it didn't leak after pressure testing. This is a lie, they denied my claim and told me to contact my homeowners insurance, If I wanted to leave my furniture out in the rain, I could have done that for free. Stay away from PODS.Lousy customer service also expensive. Not only did this cost almost $600.00, I got accused of making a fraudulent claim and was told I should have purchased the extra insurance.
