[ Chase has stolen my money, refused to let me speak to a manager and now have closed my account. They are threatening to report me to the credit agencies, which is illegal to do while under dispute. They are not responding to my attorney. Chase is unethical and have violated my financial security. They need to respond to my attorney or further legal action will be taken on my part against Chase.)

All Chase told me on the phone was ... if no "billing error" occurred, there's nothing else they can do.  Really?  What does "billing error" even mean?   Whose billing error? - A billing error had / has NOTHING to do with this complaint.  - Millions of us use credit cards to protect us from "unscrupulous" vendors.  This case has evidence we've supplied to Chase that PROVES that: ----- faulty equipment was sold to me and installed ----- the manufacturer confirmed the product does NOT work as advertised ----- the vendor refused to both pick up the faulty equipment AND refund my credit card AND check ----- the manufacturer picked it up and delivered it to the vendor ----- Chase HAS that evidence but refuse to even acknowledge  it! My  hunch is that the "disputes department",  is an outside company that is charged (no pun intended) by Chase and others to do their dirty work.  Disputes over a certain amount are NOT honored.  Chase refuses to honor this dispute as they claim they cannot find evidence the product was even picked up ... we have photos (they refuse to view them) and written docuementation! Within the past 2 years, I have also 2 filed disputes with Chase where furniture has NOT been picked up  yet they could care less.  $1,000 each time. YET suddenly they  care?  Why the double standard?    Regards,

Chase has responded that they cannot honor my request.  They claim that I did not receive a December statement to apply a credit for 2016.  However, when I contacted Customer Service on April 1, 2017, Customer Service confirmed that my "December 2016 statement closed on the 6th."  I have the correspondence saved and can substantiate the representation made by Chase.  Again, if the eligible transaction occurred on December 10, 2016, which was on my December statement, and the travel benefit was applied on December 10, 2016 (also on my December statement), and the CSR confirmed that I did indeed have a December 2016 statement, why was the credit applied toward my 2017 travel credit benefit? It should have been applied toward 2016.  As mentioned earlier, Customer Service confirmed on April 2, 2017, that my December 2016 Statement contained both the eligible transaction and $300 Annual Travel Credit. Both occurred on December 10, 2016, and as a result, should not have consumed the 2017 Annual Travel Credit, but rather the 2016 Annual Travel Credit. There should have been an additional Annual Travel Credit issued in April 2017 for $300, when I made travel-related purchases totaling over $300. Chase should honor the statements made by its representatives. Regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and although it doesn't say much, the corporate office has corrected my account to the original terms as I requested.  I have not seen the complete resolution yet since it can take a couple months, but I do have documentation stating it would be done.
