the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12601510, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Chase did not provide any legitimate  responses. I have three kinds of objective proof I had a log in for the account indicated, and Chase has not addressed any of them. Their response that my account might have been purged directly contradicts its previous response, and is grossly negligent and inadequate. It does not address any security issues, or how, when and why the account information was deleted. Its second response is even more absurd; Chase denied credit, on its own admission, based on nothing at all related to my creditworthiness, but only whether I had applied to offers on other cards (though it refused to specify even on what basis it made that decision). This is entirely illegal. I will be pursuing legal action against this company on both counts. Most people think Chase is a fraudulent criminal enterprise that takes no responsibility for what it does, and its behavior here confirms why.  Your feedbackThe company’s response addressed all of my issuesNo ADDITIONAL COMMENTS These are not responses. Most people think Chase is a fraudulent criminal enterprise that takes no responsibility for what it does, and its behavior here confirms why. There is no actual content to teir reply beyond excuses and abstractions, and multiple contradictions of its prior response, which said unequivocally I never had any log in to this account which is objectively a lie and absurd and provably false. This is going to court.  They investigated nothing--their claim my account might have been purged, as if someone else did it, is I believe not only absurd, but itself legally actionable.

I, [redacted] J  [redacted]  ([redacted] A [redacted] on my credit report) and my husband, [redacted] L [redacted] are still receiving notices of inquiries to our credit from Chase Bank which originate via Amazon and their promotion of $50 off each purchase with application for a credit card.  Neither myself nor my husband have EVER applied nor would we apply for such a card, nor have we mad any purchase from Amazon on any of these dates.  I have spoken to [redacted] firstly and then to [redacted] several times after I was told she was no longer there.  Mr. Shively has been very hard to get in touch with, often promising to call and not, or not responding at all to messages left.  He stated that the fraudulent inquiries would be removed from my credit report on several occasions and on the last conversation stated that he would have it expedited.  NOTHING has been done by Chase to either clear my credit report much less to prevent this from continuing to occur.  I assured him when first we spoke that if they received a app it was fraud and that the info, i.e. my address used on the apps was not even my current address where I've been living for the past four years now.  I have had to spend my time to procure Police Reports, spent hours on the phone to the credit bureaus in attempts to fix my credit when it should have been handled by Chase.  I have been told that the only way I can stop it is to PAY monthly to block it.  I do not feel this should be my obligation.  I feel either Chase should block this from happening to myself and my husband (as well as all others honestly and stop that Amazon program totally) or they should pay to put the block on my credit so that THEIR inquiries no longer have an negative effect to our credit.  I have a 100% payment rate on my bills yet have already been turned down for credit where I truly did apply because of the multiple Chase inquires on my credit..... I had already been given credit from same place before and only difference was the Chase stuff.  This has gone on since October of 2016 and my next step will be legal council and to see how many others are effected financially, emotionally and if in fact this could wind up being a class action suit between Amazon and Chase.  Its gone long enough at least for me.  I work too hard for my money and my credit to allow it to be ruined.  Someone has to stand up.  I will. [redacted]

1. Business has not started communicating with me in written format, as requests, nor has the business been able to prove why it is impossible for them to communicate with me in writing.2. Business has provided me with a phone number to call for [redacted] at the executive office, and I've tried to call it multiple times and left multiple messages, but never got through to Mike when I called and never received a call back from Mike. The issue is not resolved, and not even getting any better at this point!

I did receive a letter from Chase. They are not understanding that all of the late fees they are expecting me to pay for are from fraudulent charges that I never made. They waived the fraudulent charges but did not waive the fees that came with them. Why would anyone pay for late charge on a credit card they didn't have/ didn't know about the charges in the first place? The letter I received from them was not helpful at all. It was a complete brush off. When I spoke with them on the phone, I was passed through 12 or more people and nobody was willing to help. All they did was close my account permanently and are still expecting me to pay over $300 worth of late fees. I absolutely refuse to pay late fees from charges I did not make on that card. That is easy to understand but for some reason, their employees couldn't get me to the right person to settle that issue.

[redacted]
