I received a letter from Chase, indicating that the credit card offer I selected was 10,000 welcome points and a $100 statement credit for the first year annual fee.  However, I did not select that offer.  The offer I selected was 10,000 welcome points and an additional 25,000 points after spending $3000 in the first three months, which I did.  I applied for the Chase Southwest card via computer, and there were two offers being advertised in which you had to use the radial buttons to choose.  I choose the second of the two as indicated here.  Chase did not honor the credit card offer that was advertised and I signed up for, and have not resolved my complaint.

The  cc company told me they did not approve my application as I opened too many cc in the last two years (namely 6)
First of all I do not think 6 cc is a lot and anyway I closed some store cc I was not using. I have a perfect score as I pay all my bills in time and in full. There was no reason for them to deny my application.

I received no resolution from the business not even a counter offer. I am not happy with Chase as I have all my banking with them. The representative that called me was not helpful and at this time I am rejecting the response.

Regarding above complaint.  I did receive a letter via US mail from  Chase:
 
Letter Stated I contacted Chase regarding the charge.  In correct statement Chase contacted me.
 
I am out of the country working, and letter is at home.  If copy is need I will be more than happy to forward.
 
In addition, When Chase contacted me, the wrong Credit Card Account was close.  The card that was compromised was Chase Freedom Not The Marriott Rewards Visa.  I am concerned why the error.  When we received the Freedom Visa Bill, (card we do not use) the charge appeared. This involved more calls to Chase.
 
I have placed two voice mails to Chase Representative regarding this issue and confusion.  As she stated in her letter please feel free to call.  It has been over three and a half weeks, no return call.
 
At top of her letter she states WE DO GIVE SECOND CARDS.  I would like Chase to review my account.  I have been given two Chase Marriott Cards with My Name twice in past.
 
Questions:  Why no return calls.
                    Why false statement I called Chase, when it was Chase who contacted me.
                     Why was wrong card closed. Why am I Told in no second card, when in past my request has been honored.

Problem:


Chase bank is harassing and provoking in their service. They are claiming that my mailing address is not my mailing address and they claim they are getting returned mail. Further they changed my credit card number without my request nor did they notify me. I have not received the new card. Chase continually denies my online purchases although there is ample credit available. This is a total break down of service performed and a very dysfunctional connection. When ever I make a purchase I use my mailing address for verification purposes but Chase routinely rejects the purchases but will allow the card to make purchases at other vendors. In this way chase is discriminatory and is trying to force me to only use their "preferred” merchants although the other merchants are members of the master card enrollment

1) do not change my card number without my request and/or notifying me, and/or giving me ample time (2 to 4 weeks) to adjust accordingly. 2) I have provided chase with in the past a picture of my key in my P.O. box with the address # viewing in the picture along with mail from all other business. Chase should recognize that if there is any mail that is returning it is not because of my address but rather either chase is not sending the mail they claim or the postal service is derelict. Either way I have proven my address and chase needs to resolve the issue where the problem lies and stop harassing me and stop denying my purchase request when they are made online. 3)Be aware that I do not wish Chase to sell, nor share my data with their associated business bed fellows. I have told chase that repeatedly. If I receive unsolicited mail from chase associates I will draw a line through the addressee and put return to sender wrong address. Please do not violate my right to privacy. Please stop sending unsolicited non chase Mail from other businesses.
