There has been no offer from Chase to resolve this complaint. I originally spoke with [redacted] about the complaint on July 14 and he said he had reviewed the complaint. He said he had received the certified letter that I had sent on July 13, but I received the confirmation card with the stamped date of receipt as July 20 by JPMorgan Chase & Co., so his statement of having read my letter was false. He said they would not be crediting my card for the amount disputed. I asked him what the difference was when you put a stop payment on a check written from your bank and putting a freeze on an invalid charge to your visa account. He advised me to go back to Revdex.com about [redacted] and contact the Attorney General of NY. My complaint is totally with Chase for not stopping the invalid charge on my account. They have a recorded phone call of my authorizing this charge not to be charged to my account. I continue to request that Chase credit my account for the $322.00 they allowed to be charged to my card.

Due to this closing I have yet to recieved my CA State taxes and it will take me months to receive it. It is April 20 and I have received nothing Chase, no letter, no contact period.

I did speak with [redacted] on 18July, who was going to continue investigating the matter of the chip enabled card as well as when/if I could receive an expedited card. She stated she would get back to me on Thursday, 24July, so until that date passes this issue is not resolved. It was uncovered after submitting this complaint that Chase customer service and the Executive Office were not on the same page. When [redacted] called me the first time (around 17July), she stated the Executive Office was correct in their information. However, one day later that appears to have been premature, as she is now gathering more information. Bottom line is Chase has a large problem--regardless of who is correct in this manner. Right now I have a serious trust issue with Chase, and it's going to take a bit more than what I've currently witnessed to regain that trust.
