I called the insurance company back and they sent me the forms to fill out which included letters from the doctors involved I made more appointments with the doctors and they told me I was wasting my time because the insurance would not pay off anyway I spent a considerable amount time with additional doctors appointments, collecting the paperwork required, sending it in, answering endless requests for more data finally admitting defeat after about hours of effort It turns out that by officially cancelling the flight (at a cost of $300) I was entitled to use the $within the next year (which we can't.) Eventually the insurance company said I was entitled to a full refund less the amount of credit I received for cancelling the flight I just got off the phone with Justfly and was told the refunded flight had to be completed by the end of Nov - it seems like I was told it just had to be booked by November of My recommendations are: Don't get the insurance, if you can't go don't cancel the flight, don't fly with Justfly
