Very knowledgeable plumber came out to investigate a concern about our water softener The issue turned out to be much more complicated than we expected The technician was kind enough to investigate further into the solution and come back the next day to explain it to me, as I was at work the first day he came out The estimate provided seemed fair The technician was very personable and very thorough in explaining what all the items of the estimate included and understood that we needed to postpone the fix until later Will plan to be calling them in a few months for the job

The service man was prompt, respectful and articulateI had called the company to correct the filter access door on a furnace they installed a couple of years ago Because of the tight fit of the furnace, the original installer needed to create an access panel for the filter on the side He created a door type panel out of sheet metalAfter many filter changes, I continued to find the panel difficult to use and cut my hand on the metal The encond service man ordered a magnetic panel which will be much easier to use Because the service call was to remedy their work, I was surprised by the $service charge My overall experience with Genz Ryan is that they do good work but are very expensiveThis creates a positive/negative response of stars

Genz-Ryan truly earned the Torch Award for Ethics when my furnace failed last week From my first call to the honest assessment of cost to repair vs cost to replace , to the installation and inspection teams, all personnel were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient They also used drop cloths to keep snow from being tracked in, removed the old furnace & accessories and left my home as clean as when they arrived!

Excellent services provided that was professional and customer friendly

Genz Ryan performed repairs for us on January 12, The repairs included a day warrantyWe wanted a longer warranty but were told we'd have to purchase a 'package that cost quite a bit more than the repairs we needed and included provisions we did not needOn May 12th, 2017, one month after the day warranty expired, the repairs they had done failed, resulting in a large area of flooding and damage to the floor, drywall of 1st floor ceiling, and water damage underneath the tub, in addition to rendering the "fixed" tub unusable I called genz ryan several times on Friday, May 12th but since no one ever answered the phone I left a voice message Now we not only have to hire another plumber to correct what they were supposed to repair, but we also have to pay for damages to our home caused by their insufficient job Their website claims that they have outstanding warranty service and that they stand by their work, however we found this to not be the case, and are now left t

Mike B*** the Service Technician called within the communicated time frame and arrived on timeHe got straight to work expanding the steps and found the root cause of the problem I was having with my air conditionerThe house was hot due to the air being out all week 6/through 6-He found the problem replaced the defective part and I signed up for their maintenance packageHe provided me with recommended updates to my HVAC system in a easy manner and walked me through all the optionsAt this time I was good with getting cold air flowing from my ventsI would recommend Mike for any future jobsThe only item was the long time to get the appointment scheduled but overall I am very pleased the service

I called Genz-Ryan, scheduled an appointment and Matt was out within a couple of hours He inspected the hot water heater and offered both repair and replacement optionsI opted to install a new unit Matt explained what needed to be done, ordered the parts to be delivered and started on the project It was completed in a timely manner and professionally done Matt was very personable and trustworthy I would certainly recommend both Genz-Ryan and Matt
