Advertised "trial" supply with shipping charges was turned into full month supply with monthly charge. Terms of service on ordering page was not clear
Just like other people complaining - I ordered 2-week "free" trial supply" of KetoMax and DetoxMax on Jan11. I did authorize the shipping charges, but did not knowingly ask for a 30-day supply or agree to full price charges or ongoing charges of almost 90 dollars per bottle. My credit card company (Chase) approved one charge, denied the second, flagged both transactions, and notified me on Jan 28. I emailed the company on 1/29 at complaining about the charges and notified them that no such charges were authorized, asking them to withdraw the charges, and let them know that my credit card account is now locked. I may have been stupid, but they scammed me.

Desired Outcome

Withdrawal of any charges beyond agreed shipping charges. No more charges. Subscription account to be cancelled..

This business used false information in their advertising, made untrue advertising claims using false celebrity promotions, manipulated the return period so they would NOT have to honor the money back guarantee and scammed me out of $96.68, $89.84 in unexpected charges. I believed I was paying shipping for a free trial.

One star is too much for these people. You can tell they are a scam company immediately by the attitude of the customer service agent after you wait forever on hold. It is not free! They will charge your credit card for a additional $89.84 x2 if you do not catch it soon enough.

Company forces a membership when ordering that is not visible on the order form.
One can't agree to terms and conditions if you don't open them.
Ordered a bottle of Ketogeniks and Ketogeniks Detox pills on Jan 10th, received on the 14th. Paid for shipping ($6.82 and $6.84) per bottle for S/H), pills are 'free'. Paid with a Visa, charged on Jan 13th, 2020.

I was then charge $89.82 and $89.84 on Jan 28th for a 'subscription' that I did not agree to in any way.

The following is the Terms of the Sale you learn about IF you clicked the terms and conditions written in small print at the bottom of the order. It does not show up unless you scrolled to the bottom of the page, which you do not have to do to place the order. Again, nothing prompts you to read the T&C before ordering or check a box stating you have read and agreed to the T&Cs.

Terms of Sale:

It says you can cancel anytime, but when I called on the 14th day after receiving the pills, customer disservice told me it was too late and could only refund half my money. How convenient. By their own Terms of Sale, it states a charge of $79.95
for a membership. I was then unlawfully charged another $79.95. I only ordered once. That was never writing, even if I did open the T&C.

Also, the company I ordered from is Ketogeniks and the bottles I received say Ketogenics. I am not even sure I received the correct product. This is tongue in cheek obviously, but they started it.

When I called (waited on hold for 8 minutes) they found my account with my last name. The rep I spoke to was well trained and would only offer half of a refund or
he could lose his job. Sure hope there are no threats being lobbied by the corporate offices that one could lose employment if a full refund was to be issued. Talk about working under duress!

Desired Outcome

I would like the $89.92 and $89.94 refunded back to me. I only agreed to pay the shipping and handling charge. I did not click the terms and conditions. Customer service rep indicated that since I order and agreed to the terms and conditions, of which I did not, that they can only offer half of a refund. I demanded a full refund and they would not comply. The end game is to shut this scam down. I would be happy to help however possible.

This is simple. There is nothing stating you must read the terms and conditions before placing this order. I never read the terms and conditions, therefore I never signed up for a 'membership' to pay $89.95 per bottle.

There isn't and I would have never signed up for $89.95 per membership.
I also only placed one order. Why did I get charged for 2 (two)'memberships'?

The order page also state 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Well, I am 100% not satisfied with this company and would 100% of my money back they stole from me.

I thought I purchased a 1-time order of Ketogeniks pills, as advertised. I just received a second package, and was billed, ANOTHER $89.99 from them.
Upon opening my bank statement, I found I purchased two bottles of pills on 12/17/19, was charged on 12/19/19 $6.84 and a second charge $6.82. I thought this was a 1 time purchase of two bottles of pills. On 1/6/2020, I was charged TWICE $89.84, AND AGAIN, $89.82 on the same DAY! AGAIN, on 1/22/2020, I was charged ANOTHER $89.82. I have two orders of two pills each, even though I was charged for THREE additional orders! This was taken from my debit card. I am retired, ex-Army, and 73 years old. Living on a fixed income and being in this scam is a terrible thing. There is no way out of this, except to go to my bank and stop payment to these people! I cannot take these pills, as I already take 12 prescriptions, and am a double by-pass *** pacemaker patient, and there is NO LIST of what ingredients are in these pills, and my cardiac doctor told me not to take them at all. I would send them back, but the address is only a POST OFFICE, no other address, no phone number, and no answer at the number provided. It is busy, even on redial! I can provide you with my bank statement to prove these charges, which are to GREENLIFESPECIAL-DETOX, not even the same name as the company Ketogeniks! This is a total scam.

I order on-line for free sample and I paid the shipping. $13.66. They are now billing my credit card differenting amounts > $85 twice.
I have been unable to contact them for assistance to have them stop billing me. I have been on hold >30minutes at a time on 1/26/20 and 1/27/20 with no response. I also sent their support an email [email protected] and have received no response. I do not want to continue to use this product.

SCAM!
After paying for S&H of a product, I have been charged a $89 fee to my card and cannot get them stop the charges that I did not authorize.
On Jan 11th 2020, I agree to buy a product called Ketogeniks Keto. I paid for S&H for two bottles of their product and now I have received an $89.xx charge on my credit card that I did not authorize for some sort of reoccurring subscription. No where in the order confirmation does it tell you that will be charged ANYTHING in the future. The product doesn't even work. Steer CLEAR OF THIS PRODUCT AND COMPANY!

Why wouldn't any of the 3 emails I received after purchase, say anything about ongoing or reoccurring fees? Where on the page that I submitted the order for the bottle (for $6.84), did I have the option to decline a subscription or ongoing charges?

This is predatory and consumers need to be aware.

While I appreciate you correcting my situation, this is deceptive practices, as again, no where in the 3 emails I received after purchase does it say you will ongoing bill, nor does the screen of purchase make that clear.

Do they have an option for zero stars? I have been on hold for almost an hour and this is the second time I have called. The first time was when the charges were about to hit my account. I was told I had until that day to cancel and that I would be refunded $40/bottle, which I was. But, I was also told that the rest would be refunded after they received the unopened bottles back, which was last week. I was also told the restocking fee would be waived and I would receive 100% of my money back. I am now waiting on the rest of my full refund from this company after waiting for over an hour on the phone to get this resolved.

This product is a scam! They give you 14 days to try it and then will charge you $89. I called their 866 number to cancel, well before the 14 days was up. I hung on the phone for 30 minutes before getting someone, with a foreign accent. I was given a cancellation number and told I must return the bottle before my account is cancelled. I only hope that I won't be charged. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I ordered and paid a little over $12 for two bottles of their product under a trial offer. They now charged my card another nearly $180.
I tried contacting the company by e-mail and they said I had to call them. I tried calling and waited over 20 minutes but never got hold of anyone. I cannot dispute the charge with my credit card until it posts, right now it is pending. The name on the credit card is different from the product name, also. I originally paid $6.82 and $6.84 on January 7, 2020. On January 21, 2020 the company charged me $89.82 and $89.84. I wrote to them immediately and asked what they were doing. They said that I was being charge for the items I had already received. The advertising says that you pay the approximate $12 for a trial offer. I never saw that I would be charged more after a "trial period". This is ridiculous for what is basically a vitamin that is inexpensive from any other upstanding business. I will be taking this up further with my credit card company, but I want others to know how deceptive this company it. The other name on my credit card is: STAY LEAN HEALTH LAB DETOX and STAY LEAN HEALTH LAB KETO. Their ads are misleading and the way they treat customers is a down right SCAM.

I want my money back. I haven't even used 14 pills out of each bottle and now they want nearly $180 for some potassium, magnesium, and such. It's cheap vitamins for crying out loud. I want a FULL REFUND. I just found out that they have offered a friend half of the money back, and then another friend said they would get $70 back. This is ridiculous when you can purchase a like kind product for about $16 on Amazon.

All I wanted was what they advertised. They had nothing easily visble stating that I would be charged almost $180 for two little bottles of vitamins (magnesium, potassium, and calcium). There are at least 100 complaints that I found AFTER they charged me this outrageous amounts of money! Thank you for taking my case and encouraging the company to do the right thing! I will be watching my credit card for the credits to clear my account!

The free 30 day supply is NOT FREE! You only have 14 days to call and cancel before you are charged and enrolled in auto ship subscription. Total scam!

After ordering 2 free bottles of their keto products and paying for shipping, they then deducted additional $89.84 and $89.82 from my bank account.
On January 2, 2020, I saw the companies promotion on Facebook offering free bottle of ketogeniks keto pills - just pay postage. They showed videos in the promotion indicating that Al Roker from the Today show was using this product for weight loss along with Dr. Oz from TV. When I submitted my information online, the company offered a similar free bottle of ketogeniks detox by just paying the additional shipping. The shipping charges came to $13.66 for the 2 bottles, which I paid with my bank card. The bottles arrived in my mail approximately a week later. I never received an email verification regarding this purchase, nor was there any paperwork or documentation that came in the box. On Friday, January 17, 2020, I looked at my bank statement and noticed 2 seperate deductions from my bank account - one for $89.84 and one for $89.82 for toprightleanbody, and toprightpurepower respectively. The 1st charge on the bank statement had a phone # 844-431-1575 and some numbers XXXXXXXX XXX. The 2nd charge had the same phone # with the other numbers being XXXXXXXX XXX. As soon a I was aware of these charges, I contacted my bank's (1st National Bank of Northfield) fraud alert and told them about my situation. They suggested I call the Ketogeniks number from my bank statement and and tell them I did not place this order and I do not want to subscribe to anything with them. The fraud alert person also suggested I may have to close my bank card account. As soon as I got off the phone with fraud alert, I called Ketogenicks and spoke with a customer service representative. I told them exactly what fraud alert told me to do. The rep. stated that I paid for the shipping, but the other charges were for the bottles of pills. I stated that I wanted a refund. They offered 2 options - one would be to mail them back at my expense, there would be a re-stocking charge and then I should get some form of refund within 6 - 8 weeks. The other option would be that they would credit me $50 each for the 2 bottles. Needless to say, I was quite upset and did not agree to the refund giving them still $80 for all these problems. Being that Monday, January 20, 2020 was a holiday, I contacted my bank the next morning and told them of my situation. They stated that since it was charged on my bank card, they could not stop payment and suggested I contact Ketogeniks again and try to settle for the 2nd offer. I called Ketogeniks again and they said that the only way they would consider any refund was to have a 3-way conversation with my bank - no other options. I spoke to my bank and they said that they never had to deal with a company like that and they would not do the 3-way call. At that time, I realized I was scammed and had the bank cancel my bank card and have a new card reissued. I did not want to take a change of Ketogeniks removing more money from my bank account. At no time during ANY of this process, did I ever have the understanding that this was any for of trial and I needed to cancel within a certain amount of time. I would love to get my money back (since I don't have that money to spare) from the company, but in any case, I don't want to see others get taken by this same scam.

I would like a refund for the 2 charges that were taken from my bank account in the amounts of $89.84 and $89.82 for a total of $179.76.I was unaware of any conditions/trials pertaining to receiving my 2 free samples other than the shipping charges, which I am not not contesting the shipping charges. I never received any documentation (email, invoice, etc.) from Ketogenik's giving the indication that there would ever be additional charges.

I accept the response from KetoGeniks, provided that I do receive the refunds. I am pleased that they have cancelled my subscription and account, and their prompt response.

Company advertised as Ketogenics, used weatherman Al Roker as a satisfied user, offered free weight-loss product for S&H charges only. Today there is an $89.84 charge for no additional product, that I did not authorize. The bank charge shows it came from Better-Weightloss.com with a phone number of 844-830-3584. The phone number puts you on hold indefinitely. When looking up this number online it shows it associated with other Revdex.com complaints for New Leaf Naturals. A website shown on the Revdex.com complaint page of www.trynewleafnaturalscbd.com does not return to anything. I believe Ketogenics, Better Weight Loss, and New Leaf Naturals are all the same company. Because this was purchased with a debit card and not a check, my bank could not stop payment. I had to cancel my bank debit card and have a new card issued to prevent additional charges, but I am out $89.84.

I placed a online order for a free, 30 day supply ,one bottle of ketogeniks, mid november.
my order, *** was shipped to me on 11/15/2019.
When I received the package a few days after 11/15 2019, there was one bottle of item # *** KETOGENOKS-DETOX, (THAT I DID NOT ORDER), AND ITEM# *** THAT I ORDERED. This was to be a free bottle of keto, that was all I ordered I gave the company my MC/VISA card to send the free bottle of KETO. On 12/5/2019 my bank statement showed I was charged $ 89.84 and 89.82 for both bottles. I called the company on 12/5/2019 and I immediately cancelled my order, XXXXXBOBB and requested a refund of the two $89.80 and $89.82 charges placed on my bank. On 12/7/2019 I received two $35 credits. This leaves $141.66 credit remaining. I called and asked for a refund of $ 141.66 credit. The company gave me a RMA of ***29588 to return both items, not opened.The employee indicated I would receive $141,66 in 10 to 15 days. I mailed the package, with two bottles, back to the company on 12/04/2019, with $200 insurance. The company picked up the package, with two unopened bottles at post office at 10:29 am on December 10,2019 in Tampa, FL XXXXX. Tracking # XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. On 1/3/2020 I called the company and was told I should receive my refund Of $141.66 within 15 days. I called again on on 1/10/2019 and was told I would receive refund by 1/18/2020. I called again on 1/18/2020 and no refund yet. I called on 1/21/2020, after being hung up three times, when I mentioned refund and asked where my refund was, I never received refund. I was told I would be receiving refund. To date, no refund Of my $141.66. Very bad scam operating in Tampa, FL....PLEASE HELP ME RECEIVE A REFUND FROM THESE SCAMMERS...THANK YOU *** Beach, SC 29588

When you order on our website you must agree to the terms and conditions which state that after 14 days + 3 days of shipping you will be charged for the KetoGeniks Keto and KetoGeniks Detox, if you do not call to cancel and return the product.

Your trial started when you ordered the products on 11/15/2019 which you paid shipping and handling fees of $6.84 and $6.82. Your trial ended on 12/01/2019, in which we didn't receive any call from you thus, your account has been kept active.

We have cancelled your account through contacting our Customer Service Support on (12/03/2019). and refunded you back $35.00 for each of the products.

On 01/03/2019 we were able to received the returned products and we have refunded the remaining amount of $35.84 and $35.82.

Since we do not normally do this, as a ONE TIME COURTESY, we went ahead and process additional refund of $19.00 for each of the products.

Please allow 5-10 business days depending on your bank's processing time for the credit to reflect back to your account.

Update 1/29/2020: I am not satisfied with the company's recent offer of two credits of $19.00 each. Not counting Two credits of $19.00, which I have not received to date, the refund amount of $109.66 is still due
I indicated. in my initial complaint, that I called the company, to learn how I could obtain a remaining refund of $144.66, they said was the credit. after receiving a credit of two $35.00 refunds.
I was told to place a RMA number on the return package and send the unopened bottles to the company. I returned bottles, in the same small carton, via USPS, and insured for $200. I did this in good faith and after making numerous calls, being hung up on, when mentioning a refund, I was told several times, I would receive a refund of $144.66. A refund has never happened and I would still demand a refund of $109.66 to resolve my complaint.
Other avenues to address my complaints include, The Federal Trade Commission, Visa/Master card/ CNB Bank, local law enforcement, SC Attorney General and the FBI.

No, Not satisfied at all. Please keep this complaint open,as the company has received both bottles back and can resell for $179.66. and I am still out (owe me) $71.66.

I placed an order on 1/7/2020 for this product and paid shipping and handling. According to their own website you must call to cancel if you do not wish to continue to membership and be enrolled in their autoship program by day 17 (13 days + 4 days shipping). I called them on 1/24/2020 (which is day 17) and was told I had to call by 1/23/2020 in order not to be billed for an auto shipment. I told them on the phone and sent and email to advise 1/24 was day 17 if they can count and I will dispute the credit card charge if they try to process through with it as it looks like they are trying to today 1/24/2020. The "customer service rep" if you could call her that, hung up on me when I told her they will not get their money and I will dispute the charge. She kept trying to insist 1/23 was day 17. Guess she might need a math class on how to add (7 which is date of order +17 days to cancel =24th). I will have to let my credit card company deal with them sadly. When you place the order for the trial it does not say anything anywhere within that order or (click here to see rules) that you will be signed up for an auto shipment. Totally false advertising in my opinion.

extremely misleading.... no information on advertisement regarding 14 day return policy...third party customer complaint person from outside of the United States...unable to receive full refund....zero information included in the shipment....

I was not informed that the "free" product trial and just pay shipping had many strings attached and customer service was horrible to me.
I placed an online order to try KetoGeniks free and just pay shipping and handling on Jan. 10, 20. The Detox was added and I was to just pay shipping and handling on that as well. I picked up the product at the post office on Jan. 14, 20 and was surprised that it did not include any instructions on how to take the product for best results or how to reorder the product if you wanted to. I still have the original shipping box and it included nothing except two bottles. After taking the product for several days, I attempted to contact customer service to ask how to take the product for maximum benefit and also about the reordering process in the event I was interested. The first time I contacted customer service I was on hold for about 15 minutes, someone came on the line, and it seemed as though they hung up. The second time I called I held for 10 minutes and then a customer service person named Nick answered the call. From the time I spoke, he was very short and interrupted me multiple times as I was trying to get information. I asked him to let me speak with someone else and he told me that I could not. I then asked if I could speak with a manager and I was informed that managers DO NOT take phone calls or want to speak with customers. Nick informed me that he did not know about the product use but if I wanted to cancel any future shipments I would have to return the product to them. When asked where I could find this in writing, he could not tell me and verbally indicated that I was incapable of understanding how business works. Nick asked that I call back before Jan. 27, 20 to cancel future shipments and I tried telling him I was unaware of future shipments being sent and that I had not signed up for anything. He continued to argue so I asked him to cancel everything and he continued to argue and informed me that if I did not return any unused product I would be charged a full amount of $90.00. I went back thru my email while on the phone with him and tried explaining that I did not have this anywhere in anything I was sent. Nick continued to argue and tell me to call back. I asked him again to cancel anything that may be outstanding since it was Jan. 18, 20 and he informed me he would not do this and that if I didn't call back that would be on me. Nick was asked again to let me speak with another agent or manager and after he refused again, I hung up the phone and contacted customer service online, my bank, and now the Revdex.com.

Desired Outcome

I would like the shipping and handling I paid for the product refunding to my card. After the way Nick treated me, I feel like it is the least I can ask for. I would the Revdex.com to use this complaint and information to keep other consumers from falling prey to this scam and avoid being treated the way I have been. I feel that some type of disciplinary action should be taken with Nick. I work with the public and KNOW FOR A FACT that this IS NOT the way you resolve conflict nor get repeat business. It is very unfortunate that a couple of simple questions turned in to this but I ask......if I would not have called seeking answers, when was someone going to let me know that I would be charged almost $100.00 for a product that doesn't seem to be working at this time.

Read their terms/conditions before placing any order from this company. this is not a free trial as you only have 14 days from placing (not receiving) the order to cancel. Then you can't return the order if seals are broken. How do you try product without opening bottles? No paperwork included in package stating how to use it or date your "trial" ends. I was charged a total of $179.66 for the 2 bottles. They said they will refund a total of $90.90. Very poor business practices. They need to place the trial/membership info on their ad pages instead of in the fine print under terms/conditions. This widow on a fixed income learned a very expensive lesson. Also, the product didn't work. I wouldn't give any star rating except for the fact I can't leave a review without it.

They advertize a free bottle for trial. IT IS NOT FREE! You have 14 days to cancel before you are charged for the bottle and placed on their autoship program. Calling to cancel took 15 minutes on hold. BEWARE
