At this time she also reported issues with the table and chairs and would have those addressed upon her return. We have not received a call from the customer advising they were back in the country and to move forward with scheduling a technician. reviewing Mrs. [redacted] concerns, we have determined that the best way to resolve this issue is to perform an even exchange of the loveseat that was damaged at the time of delivery on 7/31/17. The exchange has been processed and a message was left with Mrs. [redacted] today (8/16/17) in regards to setting up a delivery date. Currently the exchange is scheduled for 8/23/17. Guardsman, the claim was denied due to continued wear and accumulation on the table and the chairs were denied for damages not covered under the plan (cushion resiliency and every day wear/tear). Guardsman has sent photos and I will be attaching to complaint.The damages that have been reported are not manufacturing defects, these would be consumer caused. Dear Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. It is sad that this company sold these items under false pretense.  The company refuses to acknowledge their part until 2016 when they were exposed by the News Media!   $2,000 is a lot to spend on furniture that did not last five years.  The furniture began to peel the middle of 2015 and I contact the store where it was purchased and I was told there was nothing they could do about it.  It was a defect in the material.  2016 the Media became aware of it and now this company was under the spot light.  In my intial communication with Ashley, I provided the date that the furniture was purchased.  This was known up front.  But still they pretended to take an interest and instructed me to provide invoice, pics, and serial numbers, and they offer $100.00?  Why waste my time, if they were not going to accept responsibility? This is an insult!  $100.00 is not 10% of the purchase.I will contact the State's Attorney and file a complaint with that office.  In addition, look at other options.   I am not looking for a brand new set.  Unfortunately, we had to do that! Pls let me know if you require additional information Regards,

complaint, we have reached out to upper management at the retail location she purchased from.  Upper management has reached out to Ms. [redacted], and advised an exchange of the sofa is scheduled for 10/31/16 and that they would refund her delivery fee and send her $150.00 in gift cards. The refund of the delivery fee has been processed and applied back to the [redacted] account. Revdex.com:They said they are refunding me a delivery charge. When I purchased the furniture I was told that I will not be paying a delivery charge. This is a start but yet another reason the company is a rip off. Complete lies at the store level. The delivery charge should be refunded anyways since it never existed... unbelievable.

We have attached the purchase history from Ms. [redacted]’s sale to show how we came to the credit amount. We feel this is a good faith effort to resolve Ms. [redacted]’s issue as her manufacturing warranty with Ashley had expired on 2/8/2014.  We apologize but we will not be able to offer any further credit towards the situation.  Ms. [redacted] may contact our Warranty Center at ###-###-#### to accept the current offer.
