found that Ms. [redacted] did not purchase from an Ashley Furniture Homestore, she purchased online. We did reach out to our online team regarding her situation. The frame that was sent out to Ms. [redacted] is the correct frame. Our online team did contact customer and also sent instructions on how to assemble. I HAD TO PAY $200 FOR HANDYMAN TO COME TO MY PLACE AND CHECK THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER AND TO PURCHASE PEGS TO HOLD THE SHELF.THE KING BED WITH ITS CENTER SUPPORT IS SUPPORTED BY AND ATTACHED WITH THIN AND CHEAP QUALITY WOOD AND IT TILTS WITH SLIGHTEST MOVEMENT. THE FOOTS IN THE CENTER DON'T TOUCH THE FLOOR AND MY HANDYMAN TELLS ME IT IS NOT A SAFE BED FOR US AND THAT WE SHOULD PURCHASE ANOTHER BED. I WASTED OVER $2000 FOR THIS BED AND THE 2 BUNKIE BOARDS. I'D LIKE REFUND OF $2000 FOR THE BED, THE BUNKIE BOARDS AND SALES TAX I WAS CHARGED FOR THIS.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Yes [redacted] has contacted us but thus far nothing has been resolved. There is no plan in place for repair/replacement to take place. We sent pictures of the damage and a reasonable quote that included total cost of materials (new door/frame, trim, paint, caulk) plus $190 for labor for a total of $527 and was told that was too high and it might have to go through the insurance company. If that is what needs to happen we have no problem with that, but there is still no time frame or appointment made for anyone to come out. We have been more than patient considering this happened December 19th. Our frustration lies in the fact that a month before we had the couch delivered we had just finished completely remodeling our entire downstairs and now our hard work, time, and money feels like it was thrown out the window when the couch was delivered unprofessionally with no concern or regard for our home/property. We were told Dec. 19th that within 72 hours we were going to be contacted and it took a month. Now we are moving toward month 2 with the damage still there. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was so frustrated regarding the situation, I have wasted 6 months of nothing as Ashley wasn't able to fulfill my order and thus I cancelled my order after a few days of filing a complaint to Revdex.com against the store ,Knowing that the company moved again the delivery date to January 2017 after I called the store again. The store should not sell back ordered items if they cannot provide the item. Based on other customer reviews ( a lot- Yelp, Google, facebook) it seemed it is a common practice for the store to postponing delivery with no notification and hold customers money without informing us until we ourselves keep on calling them and asking whereabouts of our order again and again. I am very disappointed, it is just a shame that a company with known name uses bad customer practices. Despite saying available on Ashley's website, the rug wasn't delivered at all. I already receive the same rug for a lower price from their competitor within less than a week'

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I will close upon receipt of the rug. I actually had to drive 30 minutes to the store since no one returned my call after 1 hour. My presence at the store is why the rug was placed on order. It was never ordered originally so [redacted] told me to go through the store and find a rug to be ordered. My apologies for the delay but I don't trust this company after my experience.

Revdex.com:While we have managed to receive all but the silver trays from our Ashley Furniture Homestore furniture order we are out over $400.00 in wages plus gas and time to travel back and forth to the store to remedy issues with Ashley Furniture. We have been sworn at by the first delivery guy, put off by employees, ignored by a manager, furniture was delivered broken or missing pieces and delivery guys tried to coerce us into signing off as everything being ok, and now still over a month later we are still waiting for items to arrive. While I appreciate the $200 dollar gift card that doesn't even touch the lost wages of having to take off part or whole days waiting for furniture to be delivered. Lost time and mileage and gas costs chasing back and forth to Kenosha, 35 minutes away, we have made at least 4 trips to the store. If they apply even $200 to the financing we have with Genesis or refund us $400 that would satisfy me.

I already talked with them in 2012 when this happened. They told me they were not responsible. It's too late to do anything. I am shopping elsewhere.
