Thank you for the update from [redacted].  In regards to Ms. [redacted]’s request, we do apologize however our means of compensation is in store credit.  The store credit is valid for 60 days which is already 30 days more than our normal time frame.  The retail location will be able to provide verification to Ms. [redacted] that the credit amount is correct and accurate.  We will not be picking up the damaged furniture.  Ms. [redacted] is free to do what she wants with the items. As previously advised, Ms. [redacted]’s items are over 4 years old and are out of the 1 year manufacturing warranty by 3 years.  We feel we have made a good faith effort to assist with a matter that had no warranty on it to begin with.  We consider this matter resolved. with Guardsman it was determined the customer did not follow the policy. The damages must be reported within 5 days of occurring and service forms must be returned within 30 days from the date the claim was opened. Per Guardsman the claim was opened on 2/4/16 and the service forms were due back on 3/7/16. Guardsman received the forms on 3/28/16. The customer would have a 1 year manufacturing warranty with Ashley Furniture, the manufacturing warranty expired on 11/26/2015.  The store has reviewed this information and at this time there is nothing further Ashley Furniture will be able to assist with.Regards,Ashley Furniture Homestore - Corporate OfficeLH

we have found that Ms. [redacted] is not the customer. The order was placed under a James Becker. The store has reached out to the customer and they have come to a resolution. They will be picking up the chair and a half this Sunday and refunding it. They will also be refunding the delivery fee. [redacted]  The store refused to offer a refund and said I had to pick put new chair, after looking at every chair nothing was comfortable for me. Had to choose one so now I have a chair sitting there empty cause I can not sit in it like I said I am elderly and can not get out of it, so will I ever shop at Ashley again...NOOOOOOO and I will never never recommend to someone else either.

We did not pay for these pieces with a store credit.  Why does the refund offered by [redacted] Furniture only come in a store credit? (See 2 credit card receipts below showing visa payment #1  made on 10/4/2012 for $5000 and visa payment #2 also on 10/4/2012 for $1,672.70) as well as grand total page showing total payment of $6,672.70 paid to [redacted] Furniture (using our Visa card, not a store credit?) In sum, we await a reply to the $399 Guardsman warranty we bought. Thank you for the update on Ms. [redacted]'s situation. According to our records, we attempted to assist Ms. [redacted] back in September 2012 with a claim filed with the [redacted] Revdex.com Office.   We closed the claim due to no response from the customer to our claim for additional information such as photos.Upon receiving the new Revdex.com Claim from the Wisconsin Office on 4/16/15, our retail store has made several unsuccessful attempts  to reach the customer to further discuss the situation.  Our last attempt to reach the customer was made on 4/20/15.   Unfortunately, we are unable to continue the review process until we can speak with the customer.  The customer can contact the retail store to which she made the purchase to continue the discussion.Regards, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc.Corporate Office**

found that the customer filed a claim with the company for his mattress protection pad in 2015. [redacted] reported multiple stains to his mattress protection pad company, and he agreed to a courtesy cleaning. The Protection Pad Company sent two separate service technicians to attempt to clean the stains. In July of 2017 [redacted] contacted the store he purchased from to follow up on his 2015 claim.  At that time he was advised that he signed a waiver and the waiver disclosed after courtesy cleanings if the stains aren’t removed, they deem the stain as unknown and unknown stains are not covered. with upper management, we have found the previous offer of $225 in gift cards for customer misuse of a mattress to be fair. In an attempt to maintain a good relationship with the customer we will increase the amount of the gift card to $300. We feel this shows a good faith effort to assist the customer with non manufacturing damages, as the damages occurred by how the customer chose to move the mattress. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  I have been in contact with a [redacted] at Ashley Furniture.  She advised that they agree to let us have the floor model sofa in exchange for the sofa we do not want.  She has also agreed to not charge us for delivery on this replacement sofa.  It is also understood that if the sofa does not meet our satisfaction at delivery, it will be going back on the truck before the delivery people leave and we will be issued a full refund for all three pieces of furniture.  This is all acceptable to us.  We do not wish to close out this complaint yet as we have not received the replacement sofa as of this time and they have not set up a time for delivery yet.

Venus’s situation, we have found that we offered 40% as in store credit to her. [redacted] accepted that offer, and we processed it.  The items are no longer under a manufacturing warranty. They were purchased in 2013 with only a one year manufacturing warranty.  That warranty expired in 2014 and now they are 4 years outside of that warranty.  The retail location canceled the in store credit per request from the customer. We do apologize, however 40% is the most we will do. We can certainly reinstate the 40% in store credit for [redacted] to use but we will not be giving more than that original 40% she accepted.
