I would like a store credit for the full amount of the purchase (this credit must be able to be used at the Ashley Furniture Store of my choosing), and I am willing to split the cost of the delivery. I estimate the delivery charge will be $100, so $50 for each of us. Considering the situation, I believe this is pretty fair, and I would hope that Ashley Furniture Corporate would understand why I am no longer interested in doing business with its Naperville, IL location.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Unfortunately most things that were stated by Ashley Furniture Homestore was invalid or not true. In regards to the delivery date of the 22nd, they delivered all damaged furniture again, everything was sent back and when they were asked to put the bed together properly as it was not put together properly the first time, that was also ignored and they left. My mattress is currently sitting independently on a metal bed frame that I purchased after they did not deliver on their promise of a loaner bed frame. Further the headboard, foot board and rails were built around my mattress and bed frame and the slats were thrown under my bed subsequently scratching my hardwood floors. There is a damage claim opened with pictures(I sent to [redacted], the store manager) as their damage claim department will not return any phone calls regarding the first claim when they damaged my ceiling and walls, or backed into my tree and broke 3 large branches ([redacted] stated that I needed to get an estimate on the cost of a new tree) In regards to the delivery date promised, we were never told a mid-August delivery date, we were told by [redacted] it would be about 3 weeks from our purchase date which would have made that a mid-July delivery date. We also were not even told by our sale associate [redacted] until after the purchase was made about said delivery dates. Again, it was not a big deal at that time due to the fact we were moving and wanted it delivered at a later date. We were never further told anything until I went into Ashley furniture to attempt to add another purchase onto our delivery. When I spoke with [redacted](manager) she informed me at that time that some of our furniture was back ordered, and that is where the problems began.I had expressed to [redacted] also during that conversation about the lack of military support as they wouldn't honor their publicized discount. Later that day [redacted] called me back with a game plan for furniture delivery at that point. I stated that as long as every piece except the back ordered pieces arrive I would accept the order further and wait for those two pieces if they provided the loaner bed frame as the headboard and night stand were the only back-ordered items. Also, during that conversation [redacted] stated they would be offering up a 5% discount for our troubles and I stated it was very nice of them to finally honor the military discount that they would not honor in the beginning. She stated that was all she could do at that time per her store manager, [redacted]. The furniture company only delivered my mattress as [redacted] didn't understand and moved all our furniture to a different date as she claimed she did not understand. subsequently they offered us a 10% discount after their company damaged my home, didn't honor the loaner bed frame and didn't honor the agreement of all furniture being delivered minus the two items previously stated. It was stressed to [redacted] that I had an open house and the furniture was very much needed and that was overlooked. I called the customer service line and only then did someone suggest after the 3rd failed delivery to possibly return my delivery fees as they are clearly not delivering on their promises. To date: I can not get a return phone call since the 22nd, I have personally emailed [redacted] the store manager a request for a new number to contact for in home damage as the gentlemen who contacted me in the very beginning will not return my calls and I am unsure if I am calling the correct number; only a child's voice is on the voicemail saying "leave a message for my daddy", this is very unprofessional and lack of calling back is at this point beyond ridiculous. I have since received a paint estimate that I had to email to Andrew(manager) as there is no way to get in contact with anyone from in home damage. I called the store on the 22nd and spoke to [redacted] again letting her know about the furniture issues on the 5th delivery attempt. She stated that Brenda(manager) or [redacted](manager) would be calling me on the 23rd to set something up. I never received a call and I called the store myself. I was told by [redacted] that [redacted] was suppose to contact me by 4pm and I again asked for a in home damage phone number and stated that [redacted] could just pass that along as I didn't need multiple phone calls. I also was told that items were back ordered when I actually called their D/C myself and had my items taken off back order and moved over to my purchase order number. I was told by a lady named Peggy from the D/C that my purchase date was before others so they would move the furniture to my order. I went to the store specifically to speak to them as it is awful that their own employees could not accomplish such a small task. I further sat with [redacted] while she emailed a bunch of people and as it stands those emails are falling on deaf ears. I have no more non damaged furniture, I have no one calling me back about in home damage, and I further can't get a call back without me hounding people. I find this to be a terrible way to do business. I also was told they have exceeded their discount limit and they could no longer discount the furniture even though they have done far more damage to my home then the furniture is worth. There has no contact on their end to inform me of anything as of 8.25.16. I am ridiculously frustrated that I have no furniture, and no hope to get anything resolved with in home damage. Anytime that you are put on hold with Ashley they play a advertisement stating how owning their own trucks, build their own furniture makes it easier for the customer. It seems that no one works together for the best interest of the customers... the people who when it comes down to it are making it possible for them to be employed.

Good Afternoon,The customer is outside the 1 year manufacturing warranty, we did schedule a technician to go out and inspect the frame and springs on 2/16/17. Per the technician's report the springs are not defective, they are intact and connected to the frame and clips. Also per the technician's report the customer is requesting new seat cushions due to being soft.  Customer was advised on 5/4/17 he is outside the warranty and that he would be able to purchase the parts through the store. situation, we have reached out to Management at her retail location. Management has advised that they have already spoken with [redacted] regarding return/refund of the items. She was advised that we do not usually take anything back but for courtesy we would exchange them for her and she would need to pay an extra delivery fee for the new items. Management had asked her to pick out something that was the same price or more.  At that time [redacted] had advised that there was nothing there she liked and that she just wanted to return the items. Again Management had advised her no return as items had been in home for 10 days already. The customer was also advised this is a brand new collection and it would be mid August for delivery. Since the original purchase date the customer has also received a refund of the delivery fee plus another 10% discount for delay of product. The store has also offered to pick up the product and credit them. The customer has a delivery scheduled for August 22 for all remaining items. The store will follow this sale until completed. I am contacting you today to let you know that I was never able to respond to Ashley furniture's response. Their claimed answer of me being satisfied with this order is a complete lie. I am the opposite of that in fact. We have attempted to contact Merrillville Indiana's store manager [redacted] and once again he has ignored us. Please let me know how to file my response to show it was not resolved?

Upon further review, we have been able to pull up [redacted]’s information with what she provided in her response.  We were unable to before due to the information provided was not the same as what the purchase was made under. After reviewing the photos that were sent in, we are sticking with our offer of 35% in store credit due to the cracking of the material.  The photos show only a small area that is cracking the other areas are not manufacturing defects they are scratches.  Scratches are not covered under the manufacturing warranty.  If [redacted] is wanting to accept the offer of 35% she can contact our customer service department at ###-###-####.
