Revdex.com:I only accept this because I received a refund for my returned items and have decided I no longer want to fight this company.  Although, they did back into my building and never fixed the damage. I still am unhappy with they way they handled this entire situation and would never purchase anything from here again. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Of course my furniture shows signs of use, it's a household not a museum. All of my cushions have been ruined from the metal defect on my love seat due to cushion rotation and my cushion covers have been replaced once already and now multiple of them have holes in them again. It's the fabric not us. Also how was a spring able to tear through the bottom?

[redacted] situation, we have reached out to our Warehouse Management.  They have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] and advised her that we will be exchanging her items for her.  This exchange took place on 12/20/17 by a special delivery truck and team that fully inspected the items before bringing them out to her. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Ashley has done nothing to resolve the issue. I had to make several tech appointments and wait for several hours for a tech to fix my issue. This is unacceptable. No one from Ashley has bothered to call or look into my issue. Very poor customer service. On top of that they sent a tech that I specifically requested them not to send as he was the one that tore my furniture in the first place. This is the WORST customer service. It should not take this long to resolve a minor issue. Their "corporate" response is far from satisfactory. I don't know how they became accredited by the Revdex.com. I hope my issue is finally resolve tomorrow and I hope there is no need for another tech appointment!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  As the pictures of the furniture and the serial number information the business requested has been provided. No action has been taken by the business other than a call to me requesting the information I had already sent the day prior. The customer is still awaiting a resolution to the constant flaking of all the furniture and the sofa sleeper left arm detaching from within the the furniture inside( The wooden frame is separating from the sleeper arm since purchase). Until the business provides a reasonable resolution to the problem , this complaint is still open..For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I was told and assured by Ashley sales reps that this furniture was durable and a leather blend and that it would last for a long time. This is why I spent over $2300 for the furniture, only to have it flaking and fall apart right during and after the 1yr. I called Ashley during that time and all they said was its been a year, nothing we can do.

Thank you for the update on [redacted] N [redacted]’s complaint.  We have once again reached out to the online sales support.  We have been informed that credit has been issued for the nightstands and the mirrors and that if [redacted] wanted a refund on the lamps she would send those back.  The refund amount for 1st nightstand was processed on 1/11/17 $336.65.  The refund amount for the 2nd nightstand was processed on 1/18/17 $336.65, and the refund for the three mirrors was processed on 2/14/17 $256.48.  Again if a refund is wanted on the lamps those would need to be sent back before that could be processed. Guardsman the claim on dining room table and chairs. The claim was denied for two reasons - 1) no incident or accident to cause the damages and 2) reporting time frame (damages must be reported within 5 days of occurring). The customer called Guardsman on 1/28/16 to report damages from 12/5/15. situation, our retail location authorized a one-time courtesy exchange due to Ms. K[redacted] not liking the original color.   Per our Sales Terms and Conditions, it indicates that we do not have any sort of “Return Policy” unless there is a defect or damage.  In this case, there was no defect or damage.  We have also refunded the 2nd delivery fee that Ms. K[redacted] was charged during the exchange.   We feel we have made a good faith effort to resolve Ms. K[redacted]’s concerns.   Regards, Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc.
