while it is well known that theft of consumer merchandise left outside their homes is common place the retailer nor the shipping company made any attempt to safeguard my purchase and prevent this from happening.  I was home at the time of delivery but was unaware that my items had been delivered because there was no attempt made to alert me, there was no knock at my door, there was no call made to my cell phone.  The driver could have even left the package at my leasing office, as is often done with professional and quality delivery companies, like [redacted] and [redacted].   Moreover,  had  any one of these simple preventative measures been made, my property would not have been stolen.  Additionally, it is completely unprofessional, unethical, careless, and just plain wrong that I should be left without the items I purchased or the money that I used to make this purchase.  When there is no signature required, no knock is required, absolutely no notification of delivery at the time of delivery is required then what is to stop a corrupt driver from Lasership from stealing customers' purchases and then just claiming to have delivered them, nothing!   And the fact that Zara has made absolutely no attempt to resolve this issue or compensate me for my loss is to say the least disturbing and is reflective of the type of company, I have no wish to do further business with.
