I had a 9-a.mservice window, and the technician did not arrive until 4:p.mI only received one call telling me it would be closer to 12:p.mWhen I called at 2:p.mI was told the technician was finishing up his job and would be on his way any minuteOnly after I called an hour later did they dispatch someone else to take care of the issueThe Manager was completely unapologeticHopefully the work is better than the customer service because the customer service is terrible

This complaint is against Chas Roberts (CR) for failing to diagnose a problem with my air conditioner that they currently hold the warranty support contract for, and failing to perform an acceptable level of troubleshooting and subsequently attempting to tell me there is no issue I'm far too knowledgeable on the issue and the aspects surrounding HVAC concepts in general to begin to accept that And I am certainly more knowledgeable on the aspects of my own system to know when it's operating correctly or not
On 8/5/I noticed that my home was suddenly twice the humidity of the atmosphere and AC unit was running much more than normal On 8/6/David from CR arrived and noted the problem was too much coolant and he stated he removed 10-ounces of coolant This did not remove any humidity
I had CR send David out again, he was visibly disgruntled upon arrival I had him return the coolant level to where it was since his diagnosis was clearly wrong and only made thin

Had my unit serviced again, as I do every year, by Chas Roberts Air ConditioningOnce again Chas Roberts  sent the best of the bestA young man named ClaytonClayton was Knowledgeable, courteous, and patientMy central unit is now ready to keep us warm this winterThank you Chas Roberts

We bought a new house through *** *** in August *** used Chas Roberts to install our A/C unit and heating unitsThey came out during the first year twice for routine checks that was in the new home warranty No issuesNext year, July before we even have them come out to do a check up on the service, our A/C goes out The builder and manufacture recommended Chas againWe only have one unitIt's Friday, July 7th and we call right awayThey can't come look at (warranty work) until Monday 7/between the hours of 7pm-MidnightThey were a no call no show My husband called again and took off work to be there on TuesdayThey cam this time and did the reading....it's the compressorThey order a new compressor which comes in on ThursdayThe compressor is under warranty, but the labor and coolant are not so the charge is about $because they need to flush the system and add in new coolant It takes guys (they couldn't properly seal the unit) and over hour

I justed started using Chas Roberts last month (September 2018) They have been very professional right from the first time I contacted themall of their mechanics hav been very efficientThe Mechanic Harold is outstandingHe called me the following day following up on the repair that he completed, to make sure everything was running rightI would highly recommend this organization for all Air conditioning repairsOperating hours a day

I took advantage of a sale at *** *** for a pre-summer sale for air conditioning service for $*** *** contracted with Chas Roberts, which I accepted because my air conditioner is a Chas Robert unit originally installed with the houseThe technician came on 2/16/and 'serviced' the unitNothing was found to be wrong and the unit was full of freonThe technician recommended changing my air intake filters (which I did) and tried to sell me an expensive thermostat which I declinedThe AC was not used until two weeks laterOn 4/2/I turned the AC unit on and it would not come onAir would blow, but the AC unit itself would not come onI called Chaz Roberts back and they sent the same technician back to my houseHe inspected the AC unit and informed me there was no freon in the unitI asked him what happened since the unit was fine when he left and we had not used it sinceHe told me they could break at any timeHe then asked me to sign a work authoriza

We have been in our new *** home for about months For months a high, whistle-like sound was heard, especially when the HVAC system was off The builder's Customer Service Rep seemed unable to correct it, so we called Chas Roberts directly They sent out "Angelo" a technician with years experience He figured out the problem in minutes (loose AC filter box) and corrected it immediately He also went up into the attic to check out the equipment itself He was polite, a good listener and took an analytical approach Arrived in a shiny van and wore a company T-Shirt We are grateful for his kind attention *** ***

"The Brick", Michael, from Chas Roberts took care of all our concerns and then some He was professional, explained what he found and corrected and was very friendly as well We will be requesting him as our personal technician!

On June 9, I had a problem with my air conditionerThe unit outside was running and on but no air was blowing inside of the houseThe thermostat was set to onI decided to turn the thermostat to off because the unit was running and no air was blowingAn hour later the air started to turn on in the house and blow cold air even though the thermostat was set to offI figured out it might've been the thermostatI had Steven from Chas R*** come out and told him I figured it might be the thermostat being that it's really oldI bought a new thermostat and he said it might be the thermostatHe said he will just change the thermostat and if that works, that might've been the problemI asked if anything was wrong with the unit outside and he said he didn't want to go prying outside on the unit if the air was workingSo I paid him money to install my thermostat
Today, June 10, im having the same problem except I have a new thermostat nowThe air conditioning unit outside is running except no cold air is blowing through the ventsI called Chas R*** and the lady on the phone was anything but friendly or understandingShe actually made my customer service experience horrible! I told her what happened and she had a hard time 'believing' Steven didn't want to go prying on the unit outsideI told her that's what he said and he agreed with me that it was the thermostatIt's frustrating when you have to pay money just for someone to install a thermostat when it's something that is sold in stores, has a manual and is something most people can doIf that was the fix I wouldn't mind the expense I paid to get my air conditioner working but it's not the fixI now have to pay for someone else to come out here and actually check the unit because of the same problemYou can see where my frustration lies! I haven't had good customer service or experience in this Company thus far!

We have utilized Chas Roberts for the past years since moving to the Phoenix areaThey have provided professional and highly competent service for both our air conditioner and furnaceWe especially appreciated the service provided recently from Dennis who explained what was checked, serviced and fixed and shared advice to help prevent future issues with our HVAC unitsKnowledgeable and reliable service professionals who know what to look for and how to fix things is what you get when you utilize Chas Roberts as your service provider

We were disappointed with the overall experience with Chas Roberts AC and Plumbing; and yes we realize they were busy as it was extremely hot during the month We were days with no air conditioner in June We called each morning to check on the status of parts that had been ordered, when messages were left with their answering service, and no response was received within hours, a second call was placed Not one of those calls were returned We also sent a ticket from their website that received no responseOnce we did get through and spoke with Mwho would only say the part is on order, we will deliver as soon as the order comes in We are in a home that is less than years old, we contacted the builder who contacted Chas (the original installer) and she indicated she spoke with Nand she was told only that parts were on order We finally drove out to their HR office where we were greeted and asked to have a seat We waited for about 20-minutes for someone to come and out talk to us We were told that she would ensure an invoice was e-mailed same day and that the truck would deliver to their warehouse that same day and the service representative would be out the next morning He was We feel there is no excuse for ignoring a customer who is spending $or more in labor on repairs for a fairly new system When the repairman arrived, he asked for a copy of the invoice which we could not provide as it still had not arrived His supervisor, R., stopped by to offer assistance and made a call to the office; Mcontacted us, verified the e-mail address and the invoice was then e-mailed to us The final checklist that was mailed indicated that nothing had been checked except the major part that was replaced; he did go up into the attic and checked the unit there as well as the one outside Again, we were disappointed with the overall experience

Jason W*** came by to change the filters for our water softener on November I cannot sufficiently appreciate how professional he was and what a great job he did on a ** System that our builder had installedImportantly, Jason W*** was able to ensure that the yellow light, indicating that the filters needed to be changed became green againThis is not quite as simple to do as one might imagineFurthermore Jason W*** showed me the know-how as to how to accomplish thisJason W*** will be the person we will request every time that there is a pluming support matter from Chas Roberts

Everyone we deal with is very niceBut this firm is obviously suffering from serious disorganizationIt can't even manage its dispatch process professionally let alone resolve a thermostat issueThe equipment issue may be a manufacturering/design problem over which it has limited controlBut the scheduling issues and installation issues reflect poor training, bad management oversight, and insufficient concern for the customer experienceI really like the people but I must discourage others from relying on this firm at this time

Very fast and professional serviceWe are under a heat advisory and was concerned about how long it might take to get serviced and didn't take long at all and under warranty!!! Very happy and nice employees

We've been a Chas Roberts HVAC customer for more than years and when we ran into plumbing issues at our two homes, they were the first to come to mind for the repairs Replacement of a failed mains gate valve at one home and replacement of an aged water heater at the second were performed by the same plumbing tech - Joseph, and he was friendly, courteous, punctual and thorough (and he had a good sense of humor)
We'll continue to depend on the Chas Roberts team for all of our HVAC and (now) plumbing needs

Very unreliable, they fix my unit half wayI was charged me $for a new motor and they took off without telling me the coil & filter was dirtyIt broke down again, so I got a different company to look at it and it was finally fix rightI will never recommend or use Cash Roberts again

This company misses appointments, has very rude technicians, comes hours late for appointments

I have used Chas Roberts plumbers on occasions From the initial call until the completion of their work, both experiences went well Excellent communication and quality of work I highly recommend their company

Nizar is to be commended for his continued professional and personable serviceHe has been servicing my A/C unit for many years now!! I always request him for my two annual CAP program visitsHe is on time, calls ahead, explains everything to me in terms that I can understand and always looks for ways to help me afford keeping my unit as 'healthy' as possibleGreat technician and person!!
