We are more than happy to research our customer's concern in regards to her Kohl's Cash. In the complaint, the customer states she received an email stating her payment method was changed. Once we receive that, we will be happy to look into assisting our customer with her Kohl's Cash inquiry.

Our records show we received the customer's complaint through another channel, and have addressed her concerns. The charges on the customer's charge card were authorizations that went to their charge card company when they hit "Place Order"; a customer's funds will be held for each attempted...

Kohls.com order, until we are able to systematically verify the order status. Due to the customer clicking submit multiple times, duplicate transactions were processed. The customer has been informed that we have canceled all eligible items, and any additional merchandise that was submitted can be returned to their local store for a refund. This was not a Kohl's error, and we are not able to process any additional credits at this time.

Upon review of our customer Kohls.com Order 4322846247, we do show a return has been processed. A credit in the amount of $40.92 and two credits in the amount of $8.55 have been applied to the Kohl's Charge ending in 7804.

We have sent a $10.00 gift card to the customer's mailing address as a replacement for the missing Kohl's Cash. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately the provided sequence of numbers does relate
to transaction information. We advise the customer to attach a copy of the
receipt for further research.

The order placed immediately after cancellation was placed to be exact replacement from the original order---confirmed on twice with Kohl's cs on the phone that I will be credited the exact difference of $1345.37, Plus $250 kohls cash.case # [redacted] for this call. Note that I called back within 1hr of placing the new order, so if the CS on the phone said he couldn't price match, I would've cancelled the ordered immediately, but instead he said I would be refunded all the price differences plus I'll get the $250 kohls cash was supposed to be rewarded, so I kept the order]

I would like to add that I truly do appreciate both the response Kohl's gave to me and super kind gift card gesture, it's exactly what I had hoped for!  And I certainly do look forward to my continued shopping with the Kohl's stores, thankfully there are "plenty" to choose from.

Our records indicate all pending charges have been released for her bank account. In addition, she was offered an additional $20.00 discount to a future order for her troubles. We recommend she contact her bank regarding a refund of overdraft fees.
