Review: I placed the order on 4-28-14 order # [redacted] and they said I received on 5-2-14 I really did not received the package on 5-9-14 because we had a new postman, he did not know the address very well. Advertising is a scam that it said that the wrinkle will disappear within 30 days and in the advertisement that you will see results in 14 days and that is incorrect. Nothing was happening in those 14 days. they did not notified me that they will be charging the amount. They are not tell the truth about their products. I want my full refund. Just take a look all the complaints for all walks of life. So I am not lying.Desired Settlement: full redund to my credit card

Response:

Unfortunately, there is no further action to be taken. The customer contacted us via the corporate email on 5/23/14 and was authorized a full refund in exchange for our product. The refund has already been issued as a courtesy from our company, we are simply awaiting the return of our product. The time it takes for a refund to process is completely dependent on your bank. They can take anywhere between 3-30 business days to process. For verification the customer has been refunded - $87.63 Trans-ID: [redacted]. If there are any further questions, feel free to contact customer service during our regular business hours Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm Pacific Time ###-###-#### or email us [email protected].

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: This company was advertising on [redacted] re: anti-wrinkle cream. I was curious (I'm 66yrs) so I clicked on it. After reading what it was about I tried to exit but it wouldn't allow me to. I was on the page that would allow me to order but when I repeatedly tried to exit it would not let me. So, it looks like I "have to" order something before I can disengage the site. I tried shutting down my computer but when I did that and went back online after awhile the advertisement was still there and REMAINS there.Desired Settlement: I want them OFF my computer. Period!

It is well known that without constantly clearing out the cache and cookies of the browsers used, over time data will build up on a home computer and eventually cause conflicts with other stored data. This occurs when one resource is being accessed at the same time or even multiple requests from the same data. These conflicts can result in random and unforeseen events such as frozen pages and buggy operations with an infinite amount of outcomes. The home user can avoid such issues by scheduling cache and cookie deletions each month or by resetting their browser to default by deleting all stored data. As we are not an IT service, we have no access to do this for the customer nor are we directly responsible for such claims from domains that are not directly registered to us.

Review: I was signing up for a free product for a charge of only 4.95 and nowhere on the website was it clearly stated that there was a monthly subscription or it was just a 14 day trial that started on the VERY day that I bought it. The companies fraudulent practice of a trial that starts before receiving is bad business and nothing in the shipment confirmed the term and conditions of their cream either. I called them asking for a refund and rudely said they would not consider it at all. I made a claim with my credit card company but they did not help me. This is the reason for the delay in filing a complaint with the BB while waiting for a decision from my credit card company, which they advised me not to send the product back or would have done sooner. I have since sent the product back unused and unopened. La Creme and Bellalabs say they both have to be used together, but claim they have no association.Desired Settlement: I want my credit card refunded for both Bellalabs and La Creme. They have their merchandise back in the same original condition. There is no loss incurred by this company.

Response:

At La Creme every customer is given the right to try their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. After the 14 day trial period, if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at anytime by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on lacremeskincare.com, the product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on lacremeskincare.com where the customer would have ordered their product. The customer has to also click "I agree to the terms and conditions" twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not "agree" to the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website not only on the bottom of the first page, but also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their card information as well as sent out with the product.

Review: The company advertises a free trial of their product and you only have to pay $4.95 for shipping. No mention of the membership and 87.63 monthly fees The T&C's which is small print stating that you are charged the full price of the product if not cancelled in 14 days. Although their message on the product is to use for 30 days to see any results and no where is there any indication of a charge or future charges for their monthly membership fees that make the consumer aware. Also there was nothing in the packaging to make you aware of the return policy, cancellation in 14 days, the reocurring charges and full charge of the product if kept after 14 days. The company did a great job of misleading the consumer to thinking it was a free sample and no further action was needed.

After seeing the charges on my credit card I called to cancel the membership and asked for a refund along with sending the product back as it didn't even work. They refused to issue any credit. After doing a google search on the company they are apparently scamming all kinds of people with the same sales tactics as consumers think they are getting a trial of the product and not realizing the scam until they are charged for the sample and the next month within the first 45 days. Poor customer service and it is a shame that a company can get away with this.

The product is also a scam and doesn't produce results as indicated which in itself should qualify for a full refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the charge processed to my credit card on July 9th in the amount of 87.63 and I am happy to send back the unused portion of the product that does not work.

The consumer placed the order on 06/24/13. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 and this began the 14 day trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply. The consumer contacted our company on 08/20/13 with a request for cancellation. The account was canceled immediately as instructed and they were sent a confirmation email confirming the cancellation.

Regards,

Review: No where on the shipping confirmation or when I ordered the FREE TRIAL did it mention 10 day return or future monthly charges. I ONLY agreed to pay for shipping and handling. I am requesting refund and no future orders from this company. My order was placed on 12/3/15 and received on 12/10/15 that gives you 3 days to decided if you want to return the product. In my opinion this is NOT enough time to try this product.

Review: In July 2015, I signed up for a free trial for a fee of $4.95 shipping of la crème face cream.

I have this product unopened in a sealed box, with shrink wrap on the outside of the box.

My credit card was charged $87.63, 15 days later.

When I called, I was told that I would be charged $87.63 on my credit card until I cancelled with them. I cancelled it.

When I called and asked where I can mail the unopened product back to, for a refund.

[redacted] answered the phone and told me that he could give me 50% off on any future shipments. He also said my credit card was never billed, then he told me the exact date my card was charged).Desired Settlement: A full refund of the amount charged to my credit card $87.63, for this product advertised as a trial for the cost of shipping, $4.95.

Advertised as a free sample, I received sample, then this company took $87.63 from my bank account, without warning, no invoice, no billing. They just debited it from my account. My money was taken on 7/26/15 and I called on 8/17/15 as soon as I was made aware of the debit. The company called me back saying they cancelled my account. When I called again I was told that the company cannot do anything. The sister company, Bella Labs, who also took money (the same amount of $87.63) from my account the same day, did recently refund the money into my account after an official complaint to the Revdex.com. This unopened, shrink-wrapped box of La Creme Facial Cream is sitting next to me on my desk now. Even though my call was made only 23 days after La Creme took the money from my bank account, this company said they would not let me return this unopened product.I am struggling to pay medical co-pays to receive physical therapy after surgery. It is key that I have these funds right away because the treatment is scheduled. I am hoping that I will receive the funds in time, and want to have $87.63 back in my account.

Review: I did not see the small fine print that mentioned being charged 87.00 dollars for a product that was being offered as a free trial and all you paid for was shipping and handling. When I received the product it was in a very small container not much that would last more then a week if used every day. I didn't receive the product to almost a week later so really only had less then a week to see if I even wanted to keep it. I was also contacted by someone from their sales department the next day whom asked me if I wanted to get more of the product which I told them if I was satisfied I would call them directly and order more from them. They automatically charged my account for the shipping cost which as about 5 dollars then on the nearly the 15th day precisely recharged it an additional 87.63 for a small bottle that was really not even worth its price. I called them to try and get all my money back and they would only give me 25% initially until I spoke with a Supervisor who agreed to 50%. Which I have yet to receive to this day. I brought this product in conjunction with another product from a company called Derma Perfect and they too had the 14 day policy and also charged my account an additional 99.98 but agreed to refund my full amount if I sent the product back to them. What bothers me about all this is the falseness in their advertising scheme and how it catches people to buy product on a test purpose but does not give them much time to respond and test it before they start automatically deducting product cost from your bank account. If the product sells and is as good as advertised then why do they have to hook merchants with a shady advertisement scheme? This company is still making money off people regardless because I am sure its cheaper for them to send the product then it is for the customers to send it back to the merchant. Very bad customer service with this merchant who didn't even give me the option of a full refund if I had agreed to send the product back untouched.Desired Settlement: The only way I will not have an issue with this merchant is if they fully refund the entire amount of my purchase for this transaction.

This is a total rip off - I wanted to try so I signed up for the 14 day free trial

They took ten days to send the product, I tried it for five, sent them an e mail stating I was returning the product and they said too late - they had already charged my account because the THE FREE TRIAL STARTS WHEN YOU PLACE THE ORDER!!!!!!

False advertising. This product was advertised as a free trial. $87.63 is not what I would call "free". They should either reverse their business practices/advertising or be shut down.

Review: I bsaw an ad for this creme that said you could receive a free trial just had to pay for shipping with credit card. Now I received another delivery of the creme and have been charged 87.63.to my credit card. I never signed or saw anything saying they would send more of this if I did not respond in a few days. I want a refund to my credit card and they need to stop sending. I tried to contact via their e-mail and it can not be sent if you try.

Review: La Creme Skin Care advertises that all you pay for is $3.95 for shipping for a 14-day Trial Offer on a face cream. I ordered it Oct. 10th 2014. I received it October 18th and say that you must call within 14 days or the original order date to cancel to avoid being billed $44.00. I called October 19th to cancel and after speaking with "[redacted]" he said I would have to send back the remaining product or pay to keep the product! Because this cream for full benefit is suppose to be used with BellaLabs Wrinkle Creme, I* believe they are one and the same company. Nowhere does it say on the advertising that the product will cost you a minimum of $44.00 . The product was mailed in a separate envelope with no instructions and nothing stating to return the product if dissatisfied. My problem is that they never say on any of their advertising if you are unsatisfied that you must return the product.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me a years supply of the product FREE- it's a great product and I want both companies to make full disclosure in their advertising.

Review: I responded to an advertisement for a trial subscription of LaCreme skin care which was stated to be $4.95. Full pricing was not noted during the process at check-out. A full charge for $87.63 was added to my account. I only became aware of this when I looked at my billing statement. They were not available to answer phones on the weekend, and I am now past my 14 day trial period which I was totally unaware of. Their advertising and check out process is designed for you to overlook their billing tactics. When I called to request a refund, and explain I did not want to be charged this amount, I was on hold for more than 5 minutes. A minute into my conversation with sales associate, we were cut off. I called back, only to be on hold an additional 5 or 6 minutes. I was told they would cancel my subscription (that I never agreed to) but could not refund my order. I told them I would send the product back, but was informed it was not possible to refund my money for any reason after the 14 day period. I am so angry and feel "duped" into a purchase I do not want. In addition, the advertisement was in conjunction with a second product from BellaLabs, which I am also being billed an additional $87.63. This is truly a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund of 87.63 to my account. Thank you

Review: I ordered this product for a 14 day free trial. Today is day 14.I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to reach the customer service department to obtain the necessary address to return the product. Their hours of operation are 9-4 Monday thru Friday and the hold times prohibitive. (I was unwilling to take a day off to complete this task.) I was billed today for the full cost of the product. It is not yet 5:00 pm in AZ. (They can't answer phones on the weekend -- but they can and do bill on the weekend!) My complaint is that the company apparently does not have the staff and hours of operation to address their customer questions regarding the return of their product. While their terms and conditions are quite detailed, they neglect to offer the consumer the opportunity to comply with the requirement to return the unused product in 14 days. One is required to speak with a customer service agent to obtain the information regarding return of the product. This company fails to live up to their half of the contract if they cannot provide their customers the necessary information return of the product.Desired Settlement: I want them to withdraw the charge to my account and provide me the opportunity to speak with their agents in a timely manner.

Please be advised that ordering products online consist of the following options:

DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THE COMPANY.!!!! I don't know if their product is effective or not because I never even had a chance to use it before I got the SURPRISE CREDIT CARD BILLING for $87.63. Then, when I did call and wait on hold forever, they told me that they would cancel my order and give me a tiny refund immediately as well as send me an email confirming that. It has been two hours and no e-mail. This is a good lesson in fraudulent practices!!!!! I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED THIS IF I KNEW IT WAS MORE THAN $4.95 for a trial

Review: I'm very disappointed in the way this company does business. I ordered a FREE SAMPLE, so I thought on 9/5/14, I paid 4.95 for free shipping. I receive the package on 9/15/14 on 9/19/14 my credit card was charged 87. 63, for this FREE SAMPLE. FIRST OFF the advertisement states a 14 day trial, receiving a product 10 days later and being billed on the 14th day is not a 14 day trial. I called the company on 9/19/14, which was a Saturday, Sunday and I never received an answer. My credit card company called me because they felt that they were fraugently using my card. La Creme's charge went through and right behind it there sister company [redacted] charged my account as well. When I spoke with La Creme Co representative he gave me the spill that they had know way of knowing when the package gets to a customer's home, so they bill you on the 14 day. (PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS A 14 DAY TRIAL) When I asked the representative how did there company feel that this was a 14 day trial time he got upset and told me look, you received the package on 9/12/14, I don't know how often you go to your mail box but that's not our problem. I then asked I thought you said you had know way of knowing when a customer receives a package. That's the 2nd lie. I called both companies on Saturday and Sunday, after my credit card company called me and I did not receive an answer. On Monday 9/22/14 I spoke with [redacted] and they (REFUNDED) the ENTIRE CHARGE, THAT THEY HAD BILLED ME SINCE I HAD TRIED TO CALL THEM ON THE 14TH DAY. LA CREME GAVE ME THIS HUSTLE STATEMENT ABOUT 14 DAYS, BUT I STILL SAY A 14 DAY TRIAL IS ACTUALLY USING THE PRODUCT FOR 14 DAYS. NOT COUNTING THE DAYS WHEN YOU FIRST PLACE THE ORDER. THE PRODUCT HAS NOT LEFT THE WAREHOUSE YET, AND REMEMBER THIS IS A FREE TRIAL. LA CREME, GAVE ME HALF MY CHARGE BACK, WHICH WAS $ 43.82. THEY GAVE ME HALF WHY NOT REFUND ME ALL OF THE $87.63.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE THE OTHER $43.81 REFUNDED BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD.

Review: I placed a trail order for a cream from La Creme Skin Care on March 4th, 2014 and received their product on Marcy 14th, 2014. The trial was for 14 days to see if I liked the product. Unfortunately, I didn't think the crème was worth $87.67 and when I went to call their office on 3/20/14 there was no answer, same senario as their sister company Derma Perfect Skin Care. Like before I called my bank and they explained that they had received the withdrawal noticed on 03/20/14 (?) so it was to late to do anything. I understand that by releasing my credit card information gives La Crème Skin Care the right to withdrawn automatically the $87.67 but I feel they did not give the 14 days trail time that they advertize. They, like their sister company did respond to my email date 03/20/14 and stated that the trail deadline starts from the date I placed my order. Which again I think is very unfair, how can you know in a few days if you liked the product? Please try calling their cancelation phone number and see how there is no one answering their lines.Desired Settlement: I am hoping that you can help me get my money $87.67 back and have this company explain their terms and conditions with better details on the process of cancelations. I notice when I went back on their site to obtain their address that they give regular orders a 30 day trail time for a full refund, but they do not mention that it is from the time that the order is placed. I feel that they are deceiving the public.

Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted trial period, the consumer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 03/20/2014 as explained in the terms and conditions for which they agreed to. The consumer contacted our company on 03/22/2014 with a request for cancellation. The account was canceled immediately as instructed and they were sent a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent refunded the charge of $87.63 on that same day. The consumer would have received an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation and refund. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back.

Review: I've called several times to only sit on hold for 20 to 30 minutes so I press 2 and leave a message to cancel future shipments.

I sent back the second shipment to San Diego address and a letter stating to cancel and refund my credit card.

Review: Warning about LaCreme's dishonest business practices. LaCreme and BellaLabs work together with their false online advertising. Their refund practices are very different and I want to warn other consumers about LaCreme's tricks.1. Two 'polite' emails -- each stating they refunded $87.63 to my account2. No refunds received after 6 weeks of emails3. Contacted LaCreme's Customer Service and was 'politely' told the refunds were made and then I was given two transaction IDs as 'proof'. I said I did not receive the refunds and asked what I was to do with the transaction IDs.4. [redacted] at Customer Serv did some more 'checking' and told me the MIDs were closed and no refunds could be given BUT she could send me the two bottles back. I said I didn't want two bottles but I wanted a refund. She kept repeating there was nothing LaCreme could do. She also said MID was a technical term.5. I said I wanted a refund from LaCreme and also recommended she quit working for such a dishonest company.6. She said no refund could be given since the MIDs were closed.7. I said I would contact the Revdex.com about this dishonest company.8. [redacted] did some more 'checking' and said LaCreme would send me the refund in a check. She was not sure how long it would take to receive. Today is 7/23.I could hear other Cust Serv voices explaining to customers 'why' the customer could not get a refund. LaCreme a company that makes money from selling products under false advertising and then makes it extremely difficult to get a refund. They can easily earn $150 in pure profit for each order and rack up million+ each month with as little as 250 online orders/day! The small print on a separate web page makes LaCreme appear legal/legitimate but it is not. Why would they give such ridiculous explanations about a refund they gave? They don't give it!Desired Settlement: I want Revdex.com to alert other consumers about LaCreme.I want my refund of $175.26 from LaCreme as promised in the emails from LaCreme on 6/16/2015.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Today 7/27/2015 I received only ONE of the TWO refunds from La Creme via USPS Priority Mail for $87.63. I expect another refund check to be mailed to my home from La Creme as promised.

Review: I purchased this product online and was told that I would be charged $4.95 for shipping and the product was free. This was pop-up advertising while I was online looking for something else. What was hidden was that they would charge you $87.63 after 14 days. This information was not provided to me in plain site. They took advantage of me because I could not see the small print, but this was what they were banking on. I do not want there product and do not want to do business with someone that treat customers with such poor customer service. False advertising is a tactic that this company is using to take my money. I would like my money back minus the $4.95 for the shipping and handling.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund minus the $4.95 for shipping and handling. The refund amount would be $82.68, that is deducting the $4.95. I will put this product in the garbage.

I was really stupid for getting myself into this scam. Like all the others I believed that it was a free trial and all I had to pay was shipping. I won't ever let myself be taken in by false advertising again. How can anyone be sure of a product in only 8 days when it says it takes at least 2 months to see results. I think this company should change the wording on their website so that it explains exactly what we're getting ourselves into. And they say you receive all the info when you receive their product and that's a lie all I got was the creams and 2 brochures, nothing explaining the cost of the product. I will never recommend this product or this company.
