Review: There are many well-documented complaints on the internet already about this company's ripoff scam with their "trial" come-on. In my case, the online advertisement said "free trial", and NOTHING I could see about there being "automatic enrollment" after 14 days, including billing me $87.63 for the so-called "free" trial bottle, which is what they have done. When I received the bottle there was also NOTHING in the information that came along with it about this. I had studied the offer carefully, I thought, and read ALL the terms and conditions, because it was hard to believe, but could find nothing to suggest it was less than what it appeared - innocent of deception. According to the numerous online postings, they continue to send you unsolicited bottles every month and charge your card $87.63 every time (I have been charged $87.63 for that first, "free" bottle). There was absolutely no notification during this process that I had to "cancel", and if I didn't that this would happen - none whatsoever. They made it appear that for just the cost of shipping they would send you this bottle to try at your leisure, not that you were signing up for something just by ordering. Getting that charge today on my VISA was the first I knew about it, which caused me to search online and find all the other people caught in this scam. Totally dishonest and unethical. I have gone back to the ad after a reviewer said there is something in fine print buried on the site, and finally found a hidden fine print paragraph so far to the bottom of the page that it did not even show on my screen unless you scrolled down underneath a row of "security seals' that make it look like there is no further information - especially no IMPORTANT information! SO DECEPTIVE! Not only that, the trial is for their La Creme anti-wrinkle cream, and what they send instead is La Creme face cream that does not have the same ingredients. Not what they promised! Outrageous.Desired Settlement: This business must reverse the $87.63 charge on my VISA credit card immediately for my "free" bottle.

This business must cancel their scurrilous enrollment of me immediately and never charge my VISA or contact me again.

This business must change their massively deceptive online advertising of their "free trial" to state upfront - in readable type on the top of the very first page with the "free trial" come-on - what the person is entering into: 14 days to call and opt out before automatic enrollment in a monthly delivery charging $87.63 to your VISA every month.

Don't let them get away with this deception!

At La Crème Skin Care, every customer is given the option to try their first 30 day supply without charge for 10 days after receiving their order. During the 10 days, if the customer is not satisfied with their product, they are to contact customer service via phone or email with a notice of cancellation and the product must be postmarked for return within those 10 days. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after 10 days from the date of delivery, they are automatically billed for the product and then billed and shipped a new 30 day supply every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at any time by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on www.lacremeskincare.com, the product, the pamphlet that arrives with their order, and the package the product is shipped in. The terms are disclosed clearly on www.lacremeskincare.com where the customer would have ordered the product. The customer also has to click “I agree to the terms and conditions” twice before the order is processed. If the customer does not click the box to agree with the terms, the order will not process. The terms and conditions are disclosed directly on the ordering website, at the bottom of the first page, and also highlighted in a large white box on the second page where the customer inputs their billing information, as well as sent out with the product. The customer placed the order on 4/03/2015. This is when they paid the initial $4.95 for shipping and handling and this began the trial period to sample from the initial 30 day supply they were sent. Since there was no notification of a request for cancellation and/or a returned product during the allotted time, the customer was automatically billed for the 30 day supply on 4/18/2015 as explained in the terms and conditions which they agreed to. The consumer still has yet to contact La Crème Skin Care with any request for cancellation. We have refunded the amount of $87.63, due to this complaint. Once a refund is processed, it takes 3-7 business days for it to be credited back to the customer’s account. However, we stand by our policies and we would like to reiterate that our customers accept the terms and conditions two separate times to process their order. We state the terms and conditions clearly, and send a synopsis card with our contact information, with each order. Terms and conditions are located on all ordering websites, and should be read as they are there for a reason. Please refer to our website, www.lacremeskincare.com or www.lacremeskincare.com/main/index.php. Below is a brief explanation of our terms and conditions:Terms and ConditionsYou will have 10 days from the date you receive your bottle to decide if La Crème Skin Care is right for you. You must pay a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 for us to send you a full 30 day supply of La Crème Skin Care. We ship the product the day after you place the order (orders placed Saturday-Sunday will be shipped the following Monday). If you are unhappy with the product at any time during those 10 days, you must call us at 1-855-464-4015 and cancel your order to avoid being billed for the full cost of the product. If you are satisfied with our product, then do nothing and we will bill you $87.63 for your initial order, and every 30 days thereafter we will send you a new 30 day supply of the product for $87.63. To cancel automatic delivery and billing, please call us at 1-855-464-4015 during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm PST) or email us at [email protected]. Please read our terms and conditions for more details

Review: I ordered two 14-day trial offers that were advertised together for the cost of shipping, at $4.95 each, one was La Creme Face Cream and the other was [redacted] On 9/24/14 La Creme processed an $87.63 charge to my bank card. On 9/25 I tried to contact LaCreme through their support/contact us options on their website, neither of them worked. I then telephoned and spoke to "[redacted]". I began to explain that I had not signed up for a recurring shipment, only for the 14 day trial offer, and that I had just received the creme 5 days prior and expected to use for 14 days. Before I could finish [redacted] said that it was listed under their terms (which she repeated often). I admit that I did not read all the fine print, most people don't. I couldn't understand their poor customer service (not listening and explaining the same issue over and over again). Again I was told the $87.63 charge was for the jar I had already received. I offered to return the jar, which she would not accept because I had received during the 14 day period, and the trial period began at the time the creme was ordered. I requested a credit to my account and was told I had agreed to their terms. Their 14-day trial period is very deceptive, what they actually mean is that you have 14 days to cancel your recurring order, but the creme itself cost $87.63 and I would be billed/shipped for the same amount every month. I immediately cancelled and received a cancellation confirmation. I would never have ordered their products if I had know that I would be charged more than the $4.95.Desired Settlement: I think it is their responsibility to credit my account credited and create a more visible and/or clearer advertisement or explanation of their "terms".

Review: I ordered La Creme Skin Care for my wife to try for a 14 DAY trial. The when the product came I gave it to my wife, 14 days no results, I then read some of their literature which stated that results may be noticed in 90 DAYS, with out thinking I did nothing when the second shipment arrived my wife said he didn't want to continue. I called an cancelled future shipments and received a 25% refund on the second shipment. When I questioned how a 14 day trial would suffice to validate the product worked I was told that the 14 DAY test was for the customer to find if they were allergic to the smell or the product, not to determine if it worked for them that results may be seen in 90 DAYS, some 60 DAYS, some 30 DAYS, which is way out side the 14 DAY trial.

I feel this is misleading advertizing and suckers some of us into paying $89.99 when we exceed the 14 days: that $89.99 times 500 customers equals about $45,000 a month or $540,000 a year an excellent income for a company or over a $1,000,000 in the course of a year.

I don't question the legality of the advertizements as the law seems to be very elastic these days, (bring back Ralph Nader) just the morals and ethics involved.

ie: No returns are accepted.

Sincerly [redacted]Desired Settlement: Clear truth in advertizing without a lot of fog. Advertizing seems to have become a lot like 3 card Monti

The monthly membership was processed again on 04/17/14 for another charge of $87.63 for the second shipment. The consumer contacted our company on 05/04/14 with a request for cancellation. The account was canceled immediately as instructed and they were sent a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. Based on the nature of the call, the customer service agent refunded the full second charge of $87.63 from 04/17/14 on that same day. The consumer would have received an e-mail confirmation of the cancellation and refund. The refund will take three to seven business days to credit back. We verify on the website a consumer has the original 14-days to decide if they wish to continue with the item or discontinue. The 14-days are not offered for consumer's to see results. We do recommend using for two to three months for the best results. However, the 14-days offered can be sufficient time for a consumer to decide if they like or cannot take the product. The monthly membership is offered for consumers who do wish to continue with the item.

Review: I went online and ordered a free sample product of eye cream. It was supposed to be free and I only paid the S&H of $3.95 but a couple of weeks later I became aware the company had charged my credit card for $87.63. I did not sign any contract so did some research and found this company has many complaints about their business practice. I have disputed the charges and sent an email to them instructing them to never send me more product and if they think I joined some kind of monthly subscription deal to cancel it. I think form the number of complaints I read about, someone should have already put these folks out of business. They are scamming people. These people tell you that their product needs to be used with another product for the best results, so they seem to be partnered with another company called Bella Labs that did the same thing to me. I have filed different complaint on them ID #[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to see these people reprimanded for their underhanded business practices. You should not advertise an item to be free then come back and charge for it.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

This is not a review of the product. It is a VERY STRONG COMPLAINT ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS.

A 14-day trial coupled with automatic new supply and exorbitant billing is a SCAM.

When I complained and asked for a refund I was politely told that this was impossible. I also wonder if the celebrities whose names are associated with the advertising REALLY did give their endorsement. If not - that is another SCAM.

SO - WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS???

Review: I saw an add to try Lacreme Skin Care for what I understood was free. It was a 30 day supply for shipping

and handling of $4.95. I did not see any reference or information that I would be billed for $87.63!! No where

in the add did I see anything about 14 days to cancel. I believe this is false advertising, that they lead you to

believe you will get it for the shipping and handling.

I called the company, offered to return the product or whatever to get a refund, and they refunded $43.83 and said they would cancel any future product. I do not want to do business with this company ever again.Desired Settlement: The company has refunded half $43.83. I want a refund of the rest of the cost $43.80.

For other consumers they should make the terms of the sale clear and not use false advertising.

Review: Ordered cream and the 14 day trial started. It was not clear that I did not have 14 days from the time I received the product. The company took out $87.63 from my account. It took over 10 minutes for the company to answer the phone, and left several voice messages. Ended with only 50% of my money returned.Desired Settlement: This scam has a product that causes blemishes and their time is not enough to cancel, for a refund, because of mailing package.

Review: La Creme skin care and Bellalabs I believe are connected. I ordered free samples from both companies. After 10 days and alot of dissatisfaction with the two products

I started calling the customer service lines to make sure they did not send me more product (I have sensitive skin) and debt my account. To return it, most companies supply

you with a customer return #. If you can't get anyone to answer the phones........I have been calling both companies for over 2 weeks, I have been on hold for up to an hour,

called early in the day , middle, late, ect,, recording always says "high call volume", left messages every day, NO return phone calls. My account has been debted for 87.00

by the La Creme company. Just waiting for Bellalabs to do the same..As of this day in the AM, my account has not been touched by Bellalabs. This product is not worth $90.00

When you call both companies , different #'s but same answering service. I have ordered free samples before from obviously reputable companies and never had an issue.

I am a medical aesthetician and know cosmecueticals and their ingredients, I like looking for "sleeper" products....I have never encountered issues such as these.. I used

very little of my sample and have sent both back to the address in which it was sent.Desired Settlement: STOP..... DEBTING MY ACCOUNT, Return the 87.00 taken from my account, and I do not want any product sent to me from either company

Review: This company presented itself as a survey for/from my bank. After completion of same they offer "gifts" for which you just pay shipping. This was stated to be $2.95 but was a $4.95 charge to my acct. Email to them did get a $2.00 refund. Now where did I read that I was actually agreeing to place an order for $87.63-not even aware of how often they send and charge my acct. My bank states that they never authorized the survey. Have had to close acct/debit card. Have a pending charge of $87.63 that will overdraw my acct.and add a $36.00 charge.Desired Settlement: Refund of $125.00 to cover costs. Review: I responded to an Internet offer of a FREE trial for La Crème face cream. I always carefully read the small print - this print must have been really buried somewhere. They say I agreed to a 14 day trial and would then be charged $87.63 every month including the first month. I saw nothing about an $87.63 charge anywhere. They charged me $4.95 on 8/30/14 (which I expected). I didn't receive the product until approximately 9/5/14. They charged me $87.63 on 9/14 which I did not see on my account until 9/16. I called them on 9/17 and they said too late to cancel for the first month and refused to credit my account. I returned the product on 9/19/14.

Now I see many other people with similar complaints on the Internet. Should have researched this sleazy company first.Desired Settlement: I want a credit for $87.63 and some protection for others against this carefully crafted deception.

Review: Section 3.J. of their Terms and Conditions states, "We want You to be satisfied with Our Products and Our Services. If You are ever not satisfied with any Product that You ordered, you may call Our Customer Service Department toll-free at 1-855-464-4015 and request a refund."

When I did just that, because their product is terrible and I am VERY unsatisfied, I was first told I could NOT get a refund because the trial period was over. I called again the next day & read them the above terms on their website and still got very bad customer service. After a lot of arguing back and forth with their agent, they finally said I could only get 25% back and that they were not obligated to give me a refund even though it is stated in their terms.Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate refund of $87.63 applied to my credit card.

Review: On 01MAY14 while on the internet a pop up ad for La Creme came up offering a free 30 supply just pay shipping and handling of $4.95. It then went directly to an info box to allow input of my credit card data to pay for said shipping & handling. I did not get a La Creme web site or any additional information. My wife and I then left on a business trip on 02MAY14. We returned home and picked up our mail on 28MAY14. On opening the La Creme package along with the product it included a business card with their terms and conditions on the back. It stated that this was "free 14 day trial and that on day 15 from order I would be billed $87.63 for the total cost of the product if I had not contacted them advising them I was not completely satisfied. In addition, I was also automatically enrolled in their membership club and would billed and receive a new jar every month until I notified them to cancel my membership. I immediately called their customer service to explain why I had not been able to contact them by the 15 day time limit. The said the fact I was traveling and did not see their terms and conditions card included with delivered product was not their fault and they would not refund me the additional charge of $87.63 they had taken from my credit card. They offered to give me a 50% discount off the price, which I declined. They did cancel my ongoing membership service, which I acceptedDesired Settlement: First, the refund of the $87.63. Second, I believe La Creme would better serve their potential customers, and therefore keep, by including in the initial advertisement in clearly stated BOLD PRINT the terms & conditions (T&C's) of the sale. Additionally, they should include in their shipping confirmation email the same T&C's they have on the back of their business card. This way the customer would be fully informed twice about the terms & conditions of the sale.

At La Creme every customer is given the right to try their first 30 day supply without charge for the first 14 days. After the 14 day trial period, if the customer is unsatisfied with their product, they are to return the remainder postmarked for return within their 14 day trial period and also contact customer service to notify a request for cancellation. If the customer keeps their 30 day supply after the 14 days, they are automatically billed for their product on the 15th day and then automatically shipped and billed a product every 30 days thereafter. The customer has the ability to cancel at anytime by calling customer service or emailing [email protected]. If a customer needs to contact customer service, the phone number is listed on lacremeskincare.com, the product, the pamphlet, and the package the product is shipped in. Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Additionally, I would like to suggest again, as I did I my original Revdex.com complaint email and to La Creme's customer service rep, they should include in their shipping confirmation email the same T&C's they have on the back of their business card. This way the customer would be fully informed about the terms & conditions of the sale.

Regards,

Like many others I was a victim of unethical advertising. " Free 14 day trial," did not read the fine print. Shortly after I responded to the ad took a two week trip overseas

My credit card was charged $87.63 during my absence, of which I was unaware. On June 15 a parcel was delivered by USPS to my residence, sent by this co. from San Diego. CA. I was surprised, did some checking, found the there was a charge of $87.63 against my credit card on June 10. Also the prior charge of which I had been unaware. Contacted my bank after unsuccessful attempts to phone this company to dispute the charges

I took the unopened package yesterday to USPS for return by priority 2day mail, certified, with receipt It is in transit, due delivery Thursday, June18. I provided all details including tracking number, by email

The response from this company is it will refund me $87.63 AFTER it receives the package...extremely odd buusiness practice... It charged my card June 10, the merchandise was delivered 5 days later... I returned the same unopened package, using the same USPS , due to arrive within 2 days, CERTIFIED. With insurance, and I can only EXPECT a refund some time in the future

What is the opninion of Revdex.com?

Incidentally there is another outfit named Bellalabs practicing the identical scams as

Lacreme skin care.

Both are sleazy outfits preying on innocent customers

Review: there taking money out of my account, after I canceled with them. and not answering there phones so I can get it resolved.Desired Settlement: I just wan't my money back and stop charging my account, with out my authority. I don't have any of there products.

Review: I bought this creme online thinking it was a 14 day trial and I only had to pay $4.95 for shipping. No where in the ad did it say I would be responsible for paying $87.63 in 10 days if I didn't send it back. This was a total trap and scam. I never once saw the price of $87.63 the whole time I was going the the order process! I was totally shocked when I saw this charge on my bank statement! I tried to contact the company with my concerns and they won't give me a refund. They said I have to pay for the first bottle but they'll cancel my subscription... which was another thing I didn't know about. They were going to keep charging me every month if I wouldn't have contacted them about this problem!Desired Settlement: I would like to send the product back and get a full refund.

Review: this organization has taken our money in an unauthorized action. My wife ordered a $4 product trial online and two weeks later my debit card was billed at $87.63.as soon as I found out I immediately called the organization through the number on the website. much to my chagrin, the number was not working. I continued to try the number with the same results busy signal or phone disconnected. I immediately called my bank to stop payment which they did is the payment has not been fully processed. Unbenounced to me

two days later the LaCrem organization process the $87.63 charge once again without my knowledge. Days later I found it on my bank statement.if this was not bad enough then I got another charge for $87.63.I immediately called the bank to stop payment had to change my account and disputed the charges. laCreme did not refund our money and has stolen $175from my account. I am upset discouraged and outraged that this could continue and such cloak and dagger extortion methods can take place in this day and age. I appeal for resolution is this is an unjust act and must not stand!Desired Settlement: I wish to be reimbursed the charges of $175.26

Review: Like so many others, I responded to the "free trial- just pay shipping of $4.95" I did not have to click twice nor did I see an extensive and behind the scenes contract that would obligate me to all a subscription issue that so many others before me have complained about. Credit card statements take some time to reach an individual. Once I determined that I had been charged $87.63 for the "sample", I called to cancel. They gave a partial credit. But the next installment had already been shipped. I was told on 12/2 that I could send it back unopened and a credit would be issued. USPS tracking states that my refused, unopened, returned package was delivered to la creme on 12/24/14.

As stated by others, calls are not taken in a timely fashion and I have been cut off twice today trying. It is supremely frustrating.

I have only the "free Sample" and it seems that they are charging me $43.81 for it. Is this deceptive advertising or the norm???? I believe I am due a refund of $43.81 plus $87.63 for a product that has been returned unopened. Thank you for your consideration and expected response.Desired Settlement: A total credit to my credit card of $131.44

Review: Purchased trial sample. Canceled and returned product still was charged. Company lied said they didn't receive anything and that I did not cancel. I have documentation on everything. Now I have had to waste additional time and money dealing with this I want a refund plus my extra expenses.Desired Settlement: 11.73+original 87.83

Review: on 10/12/2014 I placed an order on line w/Bella Labs that stated I could try the product

for $4.95. in the same Ad it had the same offer with a different size container for $3.95,

with the name La Crème Skin Care. I ordered both. they arrived the same day in separate

packaging. The first one I opened had La Crème Skin Care on the product. Nothing else

was in the package, no brochure, no invoice. The second package had Bella Labs on the

product and had a brochure. In the brochure, in small print it said I had 14 days to cancel

my subscription or I would be billed $89. and I would be signed up for auto ship and

billing of $89. every month. On 10/22/2014 I called to cancel. On 10/27/2014 I was billed

$87.43 twice; one from Bella Labs, and one from La Crème Skin Care. I called Bella Labs

111/01/2014. Customer Service confirmed I had called and apologized and told me I

would be refunded the $87.43 in 3-6 business days and my subscription canceled.

I asked about the $87.43 from La Crème Skin Care. She said even though they are connected,

I would have to call them. She gave me their number because it wasn't on anything I had.

when I called and spoke to [redacted], she put me on hold to speak to a manager. when she came

back she said they could reimburse me 50% because I had different ways I could have

contacted them. Bella Labs emailed me confirmation of refund and cancellation within

10 mins after I hung up. When I argued w/La Crème that I should receive full refund because

they misrepresented by being under the same ad as Bella Labs, I got no where and she got ruder.

I asked if she was going to send me confirmation of refund and cancelation, she sarcastically

said "oh yeah we'll send you confirmation". Today is 11/03/2014 and I have yet to receive

anything from them.Desired Settlement: an apology and refund

Review: I ordered a 14 day trial offer of a face cream for shipping costs only. The trial starts the day you order it. How is that possible you don't have the product. They are not upfront about that nor are they upfront about charging your account with an $87.00 charge to your checking account. They tell you to read the information however, somewhere in there in the fine print...they apparently do the little scam thing. This is a total scam and rip off, now that I investigated this company and it's practices on the internet. They have been doing this to many people and been getting away with it. And I can't imagine how many little old women have falling for it and go scammed.Desired Settlement: Please look into this it's unethical, unprofessional and very shady. If your product is good then you don't have to trick people into by hiding clauses!! They are refunding me half of my money so I am not interested in that aspect...just need someone to stop their phony advertisement and practices.
