Lawnmowingonline.com is a great service and business to use for all your lawn needsQuick and easy to use submit your request and a lawn contractor will come do the work you ordered

I placed an order, but the contractor who accepted it was unable to complete itI requested a cancellation and placed a second order, which was accepted and completedThe company is refusing to process the cancellation or refund my moneyRequests to do so by both myslf and the original contractor were met with instructions to "work it out between ourselves" Since then, they've simply stopped responding to communications

I placed a order and quickly cancelled and was charged a $fee, what was the fee for?
A: Cancellation fees are very common in service industry type businessesDoctors, dentists, hair salons, moving companies
and many other businesses charge fees if a appointment is cancelled within a certain time frame of when the service is being providedSo we adopted the same polices that those businesses doIf a person schedules services and cancels within business days of the order being placed LawnMowingOnline reserves the right to charge a $feeThe policy has worked exactly as expected, more orders are getting accepted and mowed and fewer orders are being cancelledAvoiding this fee is simple, just do not cancel within business days of scheduling serviceFor example, if you order May 1st for mowing on May 2nd, do not cancel on May 1st, May 2nd (day) or May 3rd (days)The order can be cancelled on May 4th (days since May 1st) and there will be no feeOf course by then the order will likely be accepted by a contractor and already mowed so there would no longer be any reason to cancel
To make sure every customer knows about the cancellation fee it is listed in placesIt is listed on the Terms of Service page that all customers read and agree to before placing an order and the cancellation fee is explained in bold text and underlined on the cancellation page that all customers must fill out to cancel an order

I ordered lawn mowing through lawnmowingonline.com on September 21st, accepted a bid on September 22nd to have my lawn mowed on the 23rd, when it was not mowed I contacted contractor (not website) per their instructions to try to sort out why the contractor did not mow grassWas assured that they would mow Saturday, Saturday morning I received notice from contractor that they were not going to be able to mow as planned and I asked to cancelThey weren't sure how so I filed a dispute on the website (per instructions) and waited for some resolution, website said after hours the dispute would be resolved or refunded, after hours I reached out to website support to either get my money back or get my yard mowed
I've tried to resolve the issue first with lawnmowingonline.com through their support line, when I failed to get any assistance I've escalated to PayPal since I did not receive service I paid $dollars for in total, $at one payment and $in a separate paymentAs

I have a very very serious complaint......because it involves destruction of property....and you at Online mowing know what I am talking about......or is it just coincidence that the two times that I try to file complaints for very poor service by a particular person on your mowing team that my sprinkler system is sabotaged.!!! Yes the sprinkler was totally ripped off in areas away from viewing

Ok well I tried to order service from this company I followed all the steps I paid my $and then after a few days a contractor accepted to do the Job then never showed after a week of me waiting and only suppose to have days to mow , he kept lying and giving me the run around , so I then requested to cancel and since this organization does not have a phone number you have to send emails I requested after the day policy to cancel and I wanted my money back At this point I already hired another company die to an even I was having instead of cancelling as there auto email said they reopened the order and then another contractor accepted , I immediately told him Do not come because I have canceled and want my money back I have sent this company numerous responses and they refuse to respond and I still have not got my refund I want my money back and this complaint to go on file

I have had services paid for but never completed Service dates were supposed to be 7/5/and 9/1/ I have requested refunds several times via email with no replies

This has been a nightmare On Aug 4th I ordered lawn service and paid $ As of Aug 10th my lawn had not been cut so I reordered and paid another $because it had been raining and my grass was taller By the 13th my lawn was still not cut so I sent a cancelation on both orders and received confirmation that both orders had been canceled On 8/I received email confirming order (#***) had been canceled On 8/I received email confirming my other Order #(#***) was canceled However I went online and saw the order was now open and accepted I immediately wrote to the contractor (***) not to come to my home and he confirmed he would not and expressed his concern about the company I hired someone else (not associated with this company) to cut my lawn at a extremely high price now because my lawn was horrendous and my lawn was cut on the 15th Much to my dismay I arrived home from work on 8/and a man was in my yard and was turning off his trimmer He said

I have yet to be refunded for a job that was never completed The contractor on the job has not responded to me I've since cancelled and found another service to take care of my lawn
I was in communication with the contractor initially and he asked for an extra day to do the job because he was too busy to make it on the day that he had accepted it for I allowed it but told him I had company arriving so I could only allow the one day He failed to respond to any messages the next day and I cancelled it at 7PM I've since reached out via the message board to let him know to return the money and that I would contact the ADMIN I've done both since and I still am the only messaging the job board
It's so unprofessional and I feel like an it for falling for it
Advice: Don't give the contractors an inch If they ask for an extension, ask them to send the job back out to the other contractors and cross your fingers you don't get someone like I did

this company sets the consumer up to lose $for no services Their website tells you there are contractors in your area, but when you sign up, and no one accepts the job, you are still charged a "cancellation fee" how can I cancel when no one accepted the job?
This is predatory, and should not be allowed They should only charge a fee if the job is accepted, and the customer cancels
