To anyone driving a manual transmission vehicle -- BEWARE!!
LAZ Parking will tell you anything in order to get your business! However, they are not qualified to drive 2019 or newer manual transmission vehicles and they are not honest enough to admit it.

LAZ Parking ruined the transmission of my brand new 2019 VW Autobahn and then had the audacity to blame me for not knowing how to drive a manual transmission vehicle, which I have driven for many years and had driven the new VW Autobahn for over 1,000 miles!

It's unfortunate that out-of-town travelers are prey for these vultures!

One star is a compliment to LAZ Parking! A rating of NEGATIVE stars would be more accurate!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: That is not a professional responseThey just want to argue that they are in the right when they purposely have someone sitting in the lot waiting to boot your car at exactly hoursThey don't even wait that long sometimesThen they charge you more for the parkingHow is it an inconvenience to receive the difference prior to leaving the parking lot when you have to pay more to have the boot removed or you get towed at your own expenseThey are baiting people and profiting from them knowing they aren't going to be able to pay more if they are at court because you have to stay until you are excused by the judgeYou cannot say excuse me judge I'm sorry you are taking so longI need to be excused to pay the parking meter LAZ parking is praying on peopleIt needs to stop Regards, [redacted]

Hello, On 1/*/ [redacted] used our facility and took over a 1/hour to leave the building after he paid his parking feeWe have signs posted at each Pay Station stating our exit policy: " You must pay when ready to exit the building"Also, a disclaimer is printed on each ticket issued which states: " Pay only when ready to exitExit within Minutes of paying or Additional charges will apply"This policy was put in places to prevent customers from paying early and heading to the various shops and restaurants in the buildingThis was a major issue in the pastWe are contractually obligated by the Port Authority of NY/NJ (our Client) to enforce this policyPictures of the signage and ticket disclaimer can be provided upon requestThank you, Nelson R [redacted] LAZ Parking

I received complaint # [redacted] from your office on Tuesday, January 03, LAZ Parking is committed to providing outstanding customer service, and we want our customers to consistently be 100% satisfied with their experiencein this case, however, the complaint doesn't include facts critical to fully explaining the situationIt is my hope that this letter will provide the additional facts necessary to resolve and close this complaint.Attached you will find a picture of the sign stationed very visibly in the entrance lane of the parking garage at the center of this complaintThis sign measures approximately feet tall by 2% feet wide and, as you can see, clearly states the operating hours of the garage as well as the fact that no cars will be released after closingFurther, it makes clear that overnight charges will apply when the customer does finally exit the garage.The Operations Manager responsible for this garage spoke to this customer after she reached out to our home officeDuring this conversation, she acknowledged she had not seen the sign when she entered the garageHowever, she must have seen it when she returned after-hours to retrieve her vehicle since the after hours number she references in her complaint is found at the bottom of the same sign.While I certainly regret that the customer didn't see the sign when she arrived at the garage and was thus unable to retrieve her vehicle until the next day, our operating hours are clearly visible at the garage entrance as is our policy regarding when vehicles may be retrievedWhile this situation was clearly not the result of any negligence or it will on our part, our Operations Manager continues to work with this customer to try to find a mutually-agreeable outcomeThank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaintShould you require : any further details, please do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,Christopher LRegional Vice President
