I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:When the guy called me in November he called me while I was at work and busyI told him that I had been trying to cancel for a month and he was like a telemarketer attempting rebuttles trying to get me to keep their "service" I told him several times to cancel the service and that I never wanted it in the first place and did not wish to continue itWhen he finally said he would cancel it I hung up the phoneAlso they may want to make up their mind on what dates they are talking about because the transactions that were in the screenshot were after the date they already stated the last transaction would've cleared so once again...liars
Sincerely,

Re: *** *** *** This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Ms***’s Revdex.com complaintLexington Law Firm maintains the position that we properly billed this former client and were honest about the terms of representationThis former client’s request for a full refund of the work we performed on her behalf is unreasonable for reasons that were previously explained at length in our initial response and rebuttalWe are disappointed that this former client disagrees with our decision. RE: *** *** *** This is the Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Ms***’s Revdex.com complaintLexington allows clients a five day right of rescission and, if they terminate the representation within five day, will owe no payments to LexingtonAfter this
period the first payment is due and is the cost of setting up a client’s case, which includes pulling and analyzing additional reports from the main credit bureaus, allowing the client to have access to credit coaching and budget tools on the client website, obtaining a TransUnion FICO score, and providing identity theft tools and insurance policyFor each month after that payment, the client is billed for all the work on his case after the work has been completedThis billing is in accordance with the requirements of the Credit Repair Organizations ActWhen a client terminates the representation, there are no “hidden fees,” but rather a final payment due for the work already completedThis information is also included in the engagement agreement each client signs when becoming a client. Upon receiving this Complaint from Mrs***, an attorney from Lexington reviewed her case and has taken steps the firm feels should resolve her concerns. The firm has emailed Mrs*** and informed her of these stepsIf Mrs*** has any questions about the steps taken or would like to discuss her case then Lexington would encourage her to contact the firm directly as indicated in the email to her. RE: *** *** *** This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Mr***’s Revdex.com complaintLexington is sorry to hear of any problems that may have arisen during Mr***’s time with LexingtonLexington strives to resolve all concerns in a timely manner to all
parties’ satisfaction. When any client enrolls in Lexington’s services for credit repair they must sign an engagement agreement that outlines the services Lexington will render and the client’s obligation to payLexington is sorry if the payments and when they would be drafted were not clear to Mr***Additionally, the agreement states that Lexington sends letters on behalf of its clientsThis includes the letters being mailed with the client’s return address, in the client’s name, and with pertinent information such as account numbers and Social Security Number when neededLexington does this based on its experience to try and get the best results for its clientsIn Mr***’s case, all four negative items he had on his reports had been removed based on his most recent reports. An attorney from Lexington has reached out to Mr*** in an attempt to resolve his concernsAfter speaking on the phone, Lexington and Mr*** have come to a mutual resolution that allows both parties to move forward. Re: *** *** *** This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Ms***’s Revdex.com complaintWe are unable to reach customer for any clarification and note that she has provided no explanation whatsoever for her unusual demands. Customer asked us to work on her behalf, agreed to our charges, and our work resulted in a significant improvement to her situation. Customer now simply states that she 'wants a refund', without any explanation as to why she would accept our services, agree to our terms, and not intend to pay as agreed. Please inform consumer that she should offer some sort of argument or facts that would support such a demand. Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I have emailed Lexington Law about my issues and they were NOT upfront about the amount being double what I was told, I was never told, "only the first month" will be $a month, I was told it would be $a month just for me, $a month for both me and my wife. If they had told me it would have been $for myself and $for my wife, I would have never agreed to spend that kind of money. There was no conversation where I was told it would double once it was past the first month, or I would have never got myself involved with Lexington Law to begin with. Saying I never contacted the company is a lie, I have emailed back and forth with an attorney that works for them. Plus I have tried to speak to their "paralegals" about my account issues on several occasions, receiving no responses and they were downright elusive and disrespectful, not answering any of my questions and basically wasting my time. This company is dishonest and they are easy to get in contact with and very polite....until you sign up. Then you are put on long waits to even speak to someone about your account, then when you do finally get through, they gave me excuses every time why they could not discuss my case with me. The first call the "system was down" and the next time I was under "Attorney review". I was treated like I was annoying them every time I called and more than once it was 45+ minutes to speak to someone, just to be treated with disdain and given a run around with no answers to any questions. An honest and transparent company, which they claim to be, would have no issues answering any of your questions. I am paying them to perform a service, which they claim to do but in all the months I have paid them, only one bill collector on one credit bureau removed their entry, but it came back on my credit and is even being reported as a renewed owed debt with the initial date being the date it came back on. So much for helping me with my credit. They are taking money from us for my wife as well, not one challenge has taken place. If it was just me saying these things, maybe my case would be isolated. The issue is, the real reviews (ones that seem from real people) are all saying the same thingsThis company has a system of being dishonest up front, then when you call to cancel, they still charge you, claim you agreed to what you did not, and they become very different as soon as you pay and sign up. Then their claims go out the window and you are treated like a nuisance instead of a paying customer. It is just like a scam, changing terms as soon as you sign up, keeping communication elusive, and making you frustrated and feeling hopeless because you are a person with credit issues versus a company which has attorneys working for them. Now they are even being deceitful about me not contacting them and agreeing to terms I never did? I do not accept lies and deception, they gave me my money back for the double charges but the damage has already been done, making some of my other bills bounce and costing me NSF fees in my checking account.
Sincerely,
*** ***

RE: *** *** *** This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Ms***’s Revdex.com complaintLexington Law Firm is troubled to hear of Ms***’s comment that Lexington obviously did nothing to help her with credit repairMs***
engaged Lexington to represent her onMarch 29in order to challenge negative items on her credit report to ensure their accuracyLexington is unable to guarantee any specific results to clients as Lexington can only control the services it providesThe ultimate decision of what is listed on an individual’s credit report is left to the discretion of the creditors and/or the credit bureausLexington can challenge items with the bureaus or send letters to the creditors on the client’s behalf, but ultimately cannot decide what is removed from a credit report. Based on a review of Ms***’s case and initial phone call with Lexington, there was no guarantee of results or timeframes offered to her, but rather she was told the results she was hoping for were not impossibleLexington sent a number of challenges to the credit bureaus on Ms***’s behalf, and based on Lexington’s current records show she had a number of removals. RE: *** *** *** This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response Ms***’s Revdex.com complaintLexington Law Firm regrets to hear of the dissatisfaction Ms*** may have had while a clientMs*** engaged Lexington to represent her in challenging certain
negative items appearing on her credit reportsBased on Ms***’s Complaint, she was under the impression that Lexington had only sent challenges to certain bureaus and not to EquifaxIn reviewing her case, Lexington confirmed that it had sent challenges to Equifax, just as with the other credit bureaus. When clients engage Lexington, they are told that Lexington cannot make guarantees of results in regards to their cases, including what items will be removed or that a credit score will go upLexington cannot control the actions of creditors and credit bureaus who decide at their discretion to remove negative items from consumers’ credit reportsAdditionally, the negative payment history is only one aspect that may affects a person’s credit scoreFactors such as credit utilization, length of credit, type of credit, and amount of inquiries also impact a credit scoreLexington is unable to guarantee a score will rise as there are many factors outside Lexington’s control to determine the score. Upon receiving this Complaint from Ms***, an attorney from Lexington reviewed her case and contacted her to discuss her concernsLexington and Ms*** were able to speak about her Complaint and come to an amicable resolution. *** *** *** This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Mr***’s Revdex.com complaintCustomer did make an electronic signature after first attesting that he fully read and understood the document. The sales agent directed him to online verification
process where we obtained a legally valid electronic signature to our terms and conditions. He was given an opportunity to read our terms and ask any clarifying questions. It is legally binding and shows that he fully understood the terms we both agreed to. We cannot work under terms a customer imposes later in an off the cuff manner such as this. Customer agreed that our set up fee would include a discount for spouses but not each month going forward. Additionally, this customer specifically agreed that we cannot be responsible for results on his case, as we simply take the customer's word for whether an item is incorrect and advance their stated position as well we can under the law provided for consumer's to do suchCustomer was made aware that he may not use us to dispute accurate items. Customer specifically agreed to our price, had the right to cancel at anytime without obligation, and specifically agreed that we cannot promise any particular result, only to challenge as directed by the customer. We are sorry he is disappointed that his challenges did not lead to removals, if he is quite sure the items are incorrect, and he believes he is being wrongly ignored by the bureaus, he is advised to speak with a litigation specialist in these matters, if he is prepared to take more aggressive steps. RE: *** *** *** This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Ms***’s Revdex.com complaintLexington regrets to hear of any problems that may have arisen while Ms*** was a clientEach client has a five day right of rescission in which no payment is owed if
the client terminates the relationship in the first five daysAfter five days the first payment is due, which is the cost of setting up a client’s case, including pulling additional credit reports, initiating identity theft insurance, giving access to the client website with credit coaching and budgeting tools, providing a FICO score, and more. A paralegal from Lexington verified that she did send an email on October 9 requesting her case to be terminatedAs Ms*** terminated the relationship with Lexington on October 9 and within the right of rescission, she did not owe a payment and has been refunded the payment she madeIf Ms*** has any issues or concerns then Lexington would encourage her to contact Lexington directly to address them.
