Re: [redacted] This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Mr. [redacted]’s Revdex.com complaint. Lexington Law Firm has had the joy of seeing millions of negative credit items removed from our clients’ credit reports during our representation of them. Nevertheless, we...

regret to learn that even a single client is unsatisfied for any reason. In this complaint, Mr. [redacted] states that the price for Lexington Law Firm’s service was supposed to be $120 a month for him and his fiancé combined, but they were charged $230 a month.Lexington Law Firm offers a friends and family discount for clients who open a case at the same time. This discount is for 50% off the initial work fee and does not apply to the monthly service fee. Mr. [redacted] received the 50% initial work fee discount and was charged the monthly service fee for the service level that he selected at sign up. Mr. [redacted] paid the monthly service fee for several months and never complained about the amounts charged until this complaint was filed. In fact, Mr. [redacted] discussed his billing with Lexington Law Firm paralegals on multiple occasions and never disputed the amounts to be charged.  Mr. [redacted]’s complaint also states, “By the second month my score actually dropped because of fraudulent reports on my bureau and they didn't even have a clue so of course they weren't even trying to fix them. Also they send out a report  saying "score has improved to xxx" so that you think it's working and they are actually doing what you are paying for. My actual score was over 50 points lower than what they said it was and dropped when they said it went up.” It is not clear what Mr. [redacted] refers to when he says “fraudulent reports on my bureau” and indicates his frustration that Lexington Law Firm did not try to “fix them.” Lexington Law Firm does not deal with fraudulent credit report issues because the credit reports are owned and maintained by the credit bureaus. Lexington Law Firm’s commitment to its clients is to challenge and dispute negative items that appear on credit reports, as stated in the Engagement Agreement. Nowhere in the Agreement does Lexington Law Firm agree to improve clients’ credit scores because 65% of the FICO score is made up of factors that are not related to negative items on credit reports. Despite this, from the time of sign up until his case was closed, Mr. [redacted]’s TransUnion FICO score did improve. When a Lexington Law Firm paralegal attempted to discuss Mr. [redacted]’s credit score concerns, he hung up on the paralegal. Without knowing which FICO score Mr. [redacted] reviewed to determine it lowered 50 points, Lexington Law Firm cannot investigate any inaccuracies. In addition, Mr. [redacted]’s complaint indicates his frustration with cancellation of his case and payments that were collected after his case was closed. He states “Well I realized it was a scam so she started trying to cancel back in September since I am working when they are open and cannot call myself. They let her cancel hers but refuse to do mine without me actually contacting them. Keep in mind that she is the one who set it up to begin with not me yet they wouldn't let her cancel it.” Besides the regular case updates Lexington Law Firm provided to Mr. [redacted] and his fiancé, there was no contact with either of them in September. Mr. [redacted]’s case was opened online, and there is an Engagement Agreement that was electronically signed by him on the date of sign up. To Lexington Law Firm’s knowledge, it was Mr. [redacted] who opened his case. Due to attorney-client confidentiality, Lexington Law Firm can only discuss and make changes to a client’s case with the actual client unless there is a Power of Attorney on file. Mr. [redacted] does not have a Power of Attorney on file; therefore, even if his fiancé had contacted Lexington Law Firm in September to close his case, this request could not be completed. Finally, Mr. [redacted]’s complaint states, “Then one of their people happen to call me but not to let me cancel and I told him I wanted to cancel the service immediately…He said he did and we hung up. That was back in October. Now, since December 5th they have taken $600 from my account 2 months after I finally got to cancel the service.” Besides the regular case updates Lexington Law Firm provided to Mr. [redacted] in October, there was no contact with him. The phone call Mr. [redacted] is referring to occurred on November 18, 2016. On the November 18th phone call, Mr. [redacted] requested to close his case. The paralegal closed the case and informed Mr. [redacted] of the overdue balance of $139.90. Mr. [redacted] requested that the payment draft on November 25, 2016. Lexington Law Firm attempted to collect the $139.90 payment as authorized on November 25, 2016; however, the transaction was declined. Lexington Law Firm made a second attempt to draft the $139.90 payment per its declined payment procedure, and it was processed on December 2, 2016. No additional payments have been collected from Mr. [redacted] since December 2nd. All payments collected for Mr. [redacted]’s case were authorized, and he agreed to the dates and amounts. In addition, all payments collected were for work performed as agreed in the Engagement Agreement that Mr. [redacted] signed when he opened his case online. Therefore, Lexington Law Firm will not issue any refunds and considers this matter closed.   Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]

This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Ms. E[redacted]’ Revdex.com complaint. Lexington Law Firm has had the joy of seeing millions of negative items removed from our clients’ credit reports. Nevertheless, we regret to learn that even a single client was unsatisfied for any...

reason. Ms. E[redacted] entered our representation on May 28, 2015. Ms. E[redacted] later chose to close her case on June 29, 2015. Lexington regrets to learn that Ms. E[redacted] did not fully understand our billing policy. However, on May 28, 2015, Ms. E[redacted] electronically agreed to this written policy as follows: “Lexington never charges before any services are fully performed. Fees are collected on a periodic basis, but only for services previously provided. Because fees are charged after rendering services, fees are generally not refundable...” Nevertheless, after review of the initial calls, Lexington agrees that the billing rules were not explained as clearly as they usually are to clients. Thus, Lexington Law Firm agrees to refund the last payment of $99.95. This refund will be processed within the next 3-5 business days. Please note that it is incorrect that no items were removed from Ms. E[redacted]' credit reports during Lexington's representation of her. Indeed, four collection trade lines and one 60 day late trade line was removed from multiple reports during our representation. Due to attorney/client confidentiality, we will not disclose the details of those accounts in this response. However, Ms. E[redacted] may contact Lexington Law Firm for details if she so desires. Given the resolution of each of Ms. E[redacted]' concerns, Lexington Law Firm considers this matter closed. Thanks,Kristine G[redacted] | Managing Executive Assistant, Lexington Law Firm

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Although I spoke with him, they should hear him on the recording stating when I asked will the first payment come out and I said February, he stated yes.  Also I told him I did not get paid until Thursday the 10th, but that was for the $14.99 to come out of my account not the $129.00.  You also sent me an email and asked me to esign all the paperwork and the email stating you could not go any further without my signature and confirmation. I did not esign and return the above paperwork.   My understanding was that this deal was not sealed.  I had not agreed on any price package.  I also explained to your worker that I am in Bankruptcy so how can you really help me dispute what I'm already paying in a Chapter 13.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

credit reports are an accurate portrayal of their credit history. Lexington assists clients in challenging questionable items on clients’ credit reports as well as offering credit monitoring and coaching. Mr. [redacted] became a client of Lexington, along with his wife, in August of 2015. Lexington immediately began challenging questionable items with the credit bureaus and sending letters to creditors on Mr. [redacted]’s behalf. Lexington cannot guarantee the removal of any item, but is paid purely for their efforts in rendering their service. Throughout his time with Lexington, Mr. [redacted] saw approximately 65 negative items removed from his three reports and has only a few negative items left. Likewise, his wife saw all but one negative item removed from her reports. Lexington continues to work on its clients’ cases as long as the client wishes to remain a client. Any work that is done on a client’s behalf is available at the request of the client to ensure or review the work which has been completed. Clients are free to end Lexington’s representation whenever they wish, and may do that by calling, emailing, or sending in notice to Lexington. This information is included in the engagement agreement each client must sign before Lexington begins representing them. The engagement agreement also sets forth clients’ rights and obligations as well as the services Lexington has agreed to render. The engagement agreement is always available on the client’s website or by requesting a copy from Lexington. Upon receiving this Complaint, an attorney from Lexington reached out to speak with Mr. [redacted] through phone and email regarding his concerns. As of the writing of this Response Lexington has been unable to speak with him, but is committed to resolving his concerns. Lexington would encourage Mr. [redacted] to contact Lexington so they can come to an amicable resolution. Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]

RE: [redacted] This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Mr. [redacted]’s Revdex.com complaint. Lexington Law Firm is sorry to hear of any dissatisfaction Mr. [redacted] may have had with Lexington’s representation of him in his efforts to improve his credit. Lexington takes...

all concerns seriously and strives to resolve them in a timely manner and to all parties’ satisfaction. Often times, clients who have cancelled their case will return to Lexington to obtain additional help with credit repair. In some instances Lexington will waive the first fee if a client returns within a certain amount of time. Based on Mr. [redacted]’s Complaint, an attorney has reviewed his case and reached out to speak with him about this situation. After speaking on the phone, Lexington and Mr. [redacted] have come to a resolution that is satisfactory to all parties. Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]

RE: [redacted]  This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal Response to Mr. [redacted]’s Complaint with the Revdex.com. Lexington advised Mr. [redacted] that a refund would be issued to him and that the refund would take up to 5 business days to post in his account. Lexington has...

confirmed that the refund was issued to Mr. [redacted] and there were no complications on Lexington’s end. An attorney from Lexington has emailed Mr. [redacted] and provided him the Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) for the refund that may assist him in getting his refund with his bank if he still hasn’t received it. As of the time of this Response, Lexington has not heard back from Mr. [redacted] after sending the email to him. Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]

RE: [redacted] [redacted] This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal Response to Ms. [redacted]’ Complaint with the Revdex.com. Ms. [redacted] was previously a client with Lexington in 2016, during which Lexington provided services to her as agreed upon in the engagement agreement she signed....

During the course of the representation, Ms. [redacted] made comments on the internet regarding her dissatisfaction with Lexington and ultimately did not make any payments for the work that was completed on her case. Based on the previous relationship with Ms. [redacted], Lexington decided that it was unable to meet her expectation and told Ms. [redacted] the firm would no longer represent her going forward. Upon receiving this Complaint from Ms. [redacted], an attorney reviewed her case and attempted to communicate with Ms. [redacted]. As Ms. [redacted]’ voicemail was full, the firm sent an email to Ms. [redacted] regarding this information. If Ms. [redacted] would like to discuss her Complaint in more detail, Lexington would urge her to contact the firm as indicated in the email that was sent to her.  Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]

RE: [redacted] [redacted] This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal Response to Mr. [redacted]’ Complaints with the Revdex.com. Mr. [redacted] contacted Lexington in 2015 and decided to engage Lexington to represent him to ensure the items on his credit reports are a fair accurate,...

and substantiated portrayal of his credit history. Upon engaging Lexington, the firm began sending letters to Mr. [redacted]’ creditors and challenges to the credit bureaus to make sure the information they are reporting is accurate as mandated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In addition to these letters, Lexington provided Mr. [redacted] with identity theft insurance and protection, credit monitoring and coaching, and other online tools to assist him in bettering his credit. Lexington is unable to control which items continue to be reported on a client’s credit reports. The reporting of the information is done at the discretion of the creditors and/or the credit bureaus. Lexington can continue to represent its clients to ensure the information on their credit reports is correct, but cannot guarantee any specific results or outcomes on their case. An attorney from Lexington reviewed Mr. [redacted]’ case in light of his Complaint and has reached out to him to discuss the details of his Complaint. Lexington’s attorney was able to reach Mr. [redacted] by phone and explain to him the process of his case and that Lexington cannot guarantee any results going forward. Based on this conversation, Lexington and Mr. [redacted] have come to an amicable resolution to his Complaint.  Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]

Mr. [redacted] called to terminate the representation he was given the option to change to a different level and he decided to continue with the representation at that price. Lexington bills clients in accordance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act, which states that payments for credit repair cannot be collected until work has been done. For this reason, even when a client terminates the representation there will still be an amount owed based on work that had been provided up until the point of termination. Upon receiving this Complaint, an attorney reached out to Mr. [redacted] and spoke with him regarding his case and the payments he made. After speaking on the phone, Lexington and Mr. [redacted] have come to an amicable resolution to his Complaint. Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I have received the credit.  It took 5 months of responses such as this to get anywhere.  Both companies have blamed each other.  Lexington claimed they knew nothing about there promotion with Southwest.  Southwest claimed that Lexington wouldn't, "Confirm", the order # for the credit.  Regardless, it took countless hours and emails.  Lexington didn't even so much say I'm sorry or communicate in any way.  I am requesting a credit from Lexington for future use, or a refund on some of my fees.  This is the least they can do to compensate me for my time.Thank you,
Sincerely,

Re: [redacted] This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Ms. [redacted]’ Revdex.com complaint. You gave us the impression these matters were addressed for you, and in your favor.  On 11/22/16 you relayed your concerns, we refunded you in the amount of $120,...

($60 per case), and you selected a service plan that was better for you.   At that point we thought we had resolved the matter.   Upon review we also see your bank accepted our refunds on November 28th, a day before you complained publicly about the matter we already resolved to your benefit. Additionally you were not billed for your case or your husband's on 12/4/16 as you claim.  The last time we billed you was November 22nd, the day you called us, and we resolved your concerns.  You may have mistaken our refund for a charge, and you may be able to verify this from your banking records.  We hope this clarifies any remaining confusion, and you feel your concerns have been addressed. Claudia I[redacted]Attorney StaffAdministrative AssistantLexington Law FirmNorth Salt Lake P: (801)297-2494Ext. 20056E:[email protected]   --

Re: [redacted] This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Mr. [redacted]’s Revdex.com complaint. Our records show you agreed to our fee of 99.95 per month, and we would be unable to offer this service at $14.99, and the contract you signed makes this fairly...

We received the following message from the business regarding your complaint: Re: #[redacted] This is Lexington Law Firm’s formal response to Mr. [redacted]’s Revdex.com complaint. We have proof that customer agreed to our billing, was aware of our cancellation policy,...

knew he could email us to cancel and it would be honored from the time sent. Additionally customer was aware that we correspond with the credit bureaus, or else how could we initiate his dispute?  This is the only method allowed by law, to communicate with the bureaus who then have the duty to investigate.  It is detailed in our contract that he attested he read and understood before we'd ever agree to perform any work on his behalf.   Additionally our work on his behalf resulted in at least 4 deletions of negative items, prior to his abrupt cancellation.   Customer paid us as agreed and no more.  We are willing to send this accounting to the Revdex.com if customer insists on stating he was mis- billed.  If we accidentally bill incorrectly we make it good, even refunding overdraft fees if our fault.  But in this case there was no mistake.  Thus since customer is incorrect in all of his allegations we are unable to issue a refund for these reasons.   However because customer appears so confused about our service, and does not appear to remember our agreement we will refund 1 of his 3  payments we received as an offer to resolve this.  Thanks,Kristine G[redacted]|Managing Executive Assistant, Lexington Law FirmStatement of Confidentiality: The contents of this e-mail message and any attachments are confidential and are intended solely for the addressee.
