Lifetime Moving & Storage Reviews (253)

I loved working with this company. I have moved many times and this company was the best experience I have ever had with a moving company. They were courteous, timely, knowledgeable, most of all kept they word. No surprises at any time during the entire process.

My 93-yr-old father's move went so smoothly, thanks to all of you at Lifetime Moving, from the first day I called Spring to request an estimate to saying good-bye to Jerry, Joseph, and Jose after delivery. You all exceeded our expectations in every way, from excellent communication with your customer throughout the process to being so kind and considerate, helpful and respectful,

and patient with my father the day of the move. We were so impressed with your expertise. The fellows were so sweet to my father and so careful with his prized possessions which would have seemed like just a lot of "stuff" to anyone else. He kept telling me that I could not have made a better choice to get the job done so efficiently and economically.

Thank you for your professionalism and incomparable customer service.

On time and very professional. Took great care in handling of my possessions. Very careful and timely. I was extremely pleased.

It was a pleasure from start to finish! Starting with the very calm and informative moving consultant and ending with the best moving crew ever (and I moved a bunch of times, even cross country). The guys arrived on time, worked super fast, made sure all of our belongings were properly wrapped and handled everything with much care. Nothing was damaged (including our newly placed carpets that were completely covered with plastic). Bottom line- it was a stress free move.

I just used Lifetime Moving & Storage to move from [redacted]. I had only lived in AZ for 10 months & had never heard of this AZ based moving company. I checked them out on the Revdex.com site & they had a high rating. Well it is no wonder & quite deserved. All the way from Spring, the rep, Miguel & team for pick up, & the driver Jay for delivery, the entire move went so well. They were all very professional, pleasant, & communicative throughout the entire process. I would say it was the best move experience I have ever had. I totally recommend this company.

Lifetime Moving and Storage was very accommodating to my needs (and changes) to my move! Spring walked me through the entire process and the movers and packers were great!

Lifetime was among the quickest to respond to my request for a bid and they provide to be invaluable in sorting through all of the details. Their sales representative was very personable and very helpful. she answered all of my questions patiently. I was very impressed with the care they took to wrap our items and ship them cross country. It was a painless transaction. And, what they bid was what I paid. No surprises.

Jay and Miguel did a fantastic with our move! They made us feel comfortable and treated our possession 's as their own! Thank you Lifetime for a great move!

This was the best moving experience I've had in many of my most recent moves. The contact person (Spring!) was professional and knowledgeable. She was prompt in her responses to my questions and quick to meet my needs for this small move. The customer service people texted me, phoned me AND emailed me with my move date confirmation and then called and texted me with the delivery date information. Plus, they were a full day ahead of schedule. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs a mover.

Great company. I am moving to Palo Alto and need storage for few months before I settle in. Lifetime moving consultant was very helpful and knowledgable. They were able to accommodate my date and storage needs. I am very pleased my employer chose lifetime for my relocation. Will highly recommend these movers.

Review: **I contracted this company to pack and ship household goods to **. The foreman of the packers was very diligent, and they worked very well together. I trusted the foreman due to his dilige**e to ensure everything was done i**luding listing all items on the shipping receipt. I was sitting there with them, but thoughts were on my doctoral reside**y, and worried they wouldn't finish in time for me to leave and report to my destination.

It is obvious the packers count on you being busy for the foreman failed to list an item that was promised to my niece, therefore, they kept the item. The foreman failed to list the stand from inside my bathroom. I asked him if he got everything, tipped each of the drivers and additional $20, and we parted.

O**e the items arrived and unloaded the stand was missing. I could see it on the truck, but the driver said it had a different tag on it, and that it belonged to the next customer. At this point I didn't trust them, and per my email prior to my household goods leaving **, I told them I would pay for the items o**e delivered and set up. The company did not acknowledge receipt or provide the common courtesy of a response. We had a verbal altercation at my new address because the rude operations staff and manager were yelling at me, which caused me to react. I was accused of not wanting to pay for the shipment, spoken to as though I was beneath them! The operations staff, namely [redacted] called me 7 times while in reside**y which affected my ability to focus, and I failed that $3600 class. They changed the date 3 times, which I tried to accommodate them, but they still treated me as though I was beneath them. I don't believe [redacted] communicated the truth to them about what she had done to me throughout the process, but the fact remains, no one deserves to be spoken to in a disrespectful manner.

Bottom line, no matter how busy you are do not let the packers out of your sight! Take the time to review the list regardless of how courteous and efficient they may be. Due to how efficient they were, it can be deducted that the stand was left off the list intentionally, and they counted on my being distracted so not to notice what they were doing. I was also promised 2 men to unload and set up my belongings o**e they arrived, but they only sent 1 driver to do everything, and I tipped him very well!

I would not recommend this company! They cannot be trusted, and they only have 1 truck, not 2, 3, or 4. They contract their services, which is not told to you in their sales pitch.

[redacted]!!!Desired Settlement: I want the item that shows on my estimate sheet and my receipt from the store [redacted] in [redacted] to be delivered to me in **, replaced, or reimbursed ($484.82)

Response:

Dear [redacted],Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear your statement of failing your class, as our operations department called you to coordinate the delivery of your belongings? You requested delivery on 8/27 and the shipment was delivered promptly on 8/27. We are very proud of our staff and our prompt performances. We perform over 200 pick ups and deliveries per month cross country and this is the first time we hear a complaint of over communicating with the client. We are sorry, but it is required from a moving company to keep the client updated on their shipment and keep them informed with Estimated Time of Arrival, especially when the shipment travels cross country.[redacted], we want to express that we strongly believe the customer is always right, however, our employees are important to us, not less than our customers! Lifetime could not offer such prompt service and communicate with clients, without the wonderful, hard working staff. No one has the right to yell, make personal threats or verbally insult an employee in such manner, that they need to live their working desk in tears, not even a customer! We advised you to act in a civil way as our calls are recorded, but unfortunately you chose not to do so. These recorded calls are available upon written request and will be provided as needed to show your un-civil communication with our staff and refusal to pay for services upon delivery. No one staff member acted as you claim here. We carefully investigated and listened to all recorded calls and are disturbed to hear your false accusations. The only party that was talking down, raising voice and insulting on a personal level, was you. Our staff members managed to remain calm and professional during all conversations. Below and attached, you will find the proof of all emails acknowledgment sent to you, in regards to updated communication, same day respond to all your concerns from management including a claim form. You are claiming we did not acknowledge your concerns. Not only we acknowledged, but we promptly replied with immediate resolution. These emails patterns are showing below. The content of each email is also available upon request. As previously advised, you have up to 9 months to file a moving claim for lost items. Regulations call for a moving claim to be filed with the moving company claim processor, as only a claim adjuster can settle a claim, considering proof and investigation of all parties involved, as well as documentation. Please file your moving claim for resolution with CSI, as previously advised online 24/7: CSI Moving Claims: [redacted]/ OR by phone: [redacted].

Review: Lifetime moving is attempting to force me to accept delivery at a destination that is unacceptable. Upon hiring the company I informed them that I would be accepting delivery at a storage unit to be determined. The company is forcing me to accept delivery at my apartment (which is smaller than my previous residence and doesn't have the room to accept delivery) with an increase to the firm fixed price agreed to at the outset. They are trying to extort more money from me and using the fact that I trusted them to honor the agreement made with their representatives at the outset.Desired Settlement: Delivery to the storage location delivery at the agreed to price on or after 9/21/2015.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and they stopped trying to extort me as soon as I notified them that I had contacted you. This resolution is satisfactory to me. I received my shipment for the agreed to price and will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

We used Lifetime Moving for a cross state move. Their professionalism is well beyond what you see in this industry. All throughout the process, from the first inquire call to the move itself, I knew we were in good hands. I would highly recommend Lifetime Moving to everyone that is looking for a professional service and peace of mind!

Great service Lifetime moving! My move was flawless, movers were polite, clean, truck was well equipped with extra blankets and dollies. I was very impressed with your timely delivery. Highly recommend this company.

I had a great move thanks to the 3 packers and the driver who delivered my household goods. also like to recommened spring at the office who made suggestions and made my move very easy. everyone was very professional and friendly!

Review: Our most valuable, important and meaningful box of possessions came up missing after our shipment of items was delivered. Out of 200 or so boxes, it's the only box we can't find. When reported, they tried to make us feel as though somehow we had done something wrong and this couldn't be their fault. Lifetimes employees packed our items, loaded our items and transported our items. This is perfect motive for theft. The individuals that showed up at our home with the shipment delivery were very unprofessional and were not employees of Lifetime. Our shipment was delayed by 2 days with no verifiable explanation from Lifetime. What is lost to us does not compare to a broken TV or the smashed up desk sitting in my garage. It is SOOOO much more. And then to be brushed off like our possessions mean nothingDesired Settlement: I would like the value of the items we lost paid to us by Lifetime Moving and Storage

Dear [redacted] and [redacted],This is to acknowledge that we received your Revdex.com complaint and are well aware of your daily online duplicate reviews attempts, via different consumer websites, as yelp and the Revdex.com, to manipulate these consumer sites and mock the firm reputation. It is unfortunate that you choose this venue to receive a complaint resolution.Despite the practice you chose to handle your issue, we did advise you to file a proper claim, as soon as you made your first call to our customer service department, in April, 2015. Our calls are recorded and available to appropriate personnel, when needed. As you were advised before, several times, a carrier can not simply pay a client, without evidence of their claimed items. Please be advised that your file is now under investigation with CSI - file number [redacted]. Your file is assigned to a CSI claim adjuster and is under review. As you were advised, you are welcomed to contact CSI at any time, to check on the status of your claim at [redacted].We are monitoring your case and asked for few updates on your file and received these replies from CSI:1. These movers were great! We've moved a couple of times, but they are the best. Very professional personally and with or furniture. They knew exactly what they were doing. I can add that they were humble and hard working.

Lifetime Moving & Storage was professional, timely and efficient. Upon pickup, my treasured belongings were wrapped against breakage above & beyond my expectations. At delivery, my belongings were placed where requested and left in good order even during the rain storm. All through the process, Spring & Ronnie kept me informed of each step and kept my fears at bay due to their professionalism and compassion to my anxiety.

Lifetime is truly a professional, organized and well staffed company. They are knowledgeable, honest and competent. My move from AZ to Chicago was truly seamless. These folks work together and collaborate to make your move as reasonable, stress free and comfortable as possible. I can't say enough good things about them, except to say that I would recommend them 100%!

Review: I hired this company to move my things from Arizona to Rhode Island. Per my contract, they were paid to move my things from my home in Arizona into my home in Rhode Island. Trying to schedule a set delivery date was a nightmare. Finally they decided to tell us our things would arrive betwee January 16 and the 18th. The next day the driver called to say he would be there the next day with no time. Just that it would be at night. We specifically called numerous times before hand to set a date as we couldn't take a delivery at night. It wasn't even in the date range given to us so we called the company only to be told if we didn't accept the delivery when they wanted, we would be charged $750 a day. So my husband missed work to wait hours for the delivery to get there since they didn't give a time. Upon delivery, he movers asked my husband to move out things. They moved some stuff in but refused to move my sectional sofa into my home and left it outside. My husband had to put it in our landlords garage. I've attempted to contact them numerous times about not completing our contract only to be brushed off. I have filed a formal complaint with the company and nothing has happened. I do have an open insurance claim with them for other reasons (damaged property)Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund as my contract was not fulfilled. I would like the payment I made at delivery as all my things did not make it inside and the movers had my husband do most of the work.

Response:

Dear Bianca and Andrew F[redacted] and Revdex.com,We carefully reviews all communication, recorded calls, contract agreements, complainer emails, yelp review and Revdex.com complaint. We had attached a letter of explanation, copy of contract agreement, your excellent feedback for our delivery services and additional proof to show the conflicts between your complaint and your written service and communication with Lifetime Moving & Storage. Finally, as seen in the attached records, Lifetime offered the complainer a good faith settlement of $50, for the inconvenience of her sofa not fitting in her stair case, despite the fact it is obviously not the movers fault, but the property design and the size of the sofa.. The lift of the sofa to the complainer requested upstairs location, requires hoisting services. Lifetime Moving does not offer hoisting services and is not licensed to offer this type of service, or agreed to complete such service upfront.Lifetime Moving will refund the complainer for hiring a local licensed moving company to deliver her sofa to the subject second floor location, using the subject stair case. A logo moving company receipt and video proof, that the subject sofa was in fact lifted and delivered to complainer upstairs location, using the given stair case, including a formal statement from the moving company, that no damage was caused to the subject property or subject sofa, will be required, in order for Lifetime to issue the refund for the fee charged by the servicing moving company. This formal received, video and statement can be emailed to: [redacted] or via mail. Please note that we had attempted to settle complainer complaints before and will not tolerate defamation and false statements. Lifetime Moving & Storage will reserve its legal right to take action against defamation.Thank you for your cooperation

Response:

we made no false allegations of this company. It has been a nightmare since requesting delivery. The movers made no attemot at gettin the couch inside of my apartment, yet told my husband they wouldn't do it. I refuse to take more time out of my day to record movers moving my sofa, just to please lifetime. This is something they should have done. Are the movers experienced or did they respond to a craigslist ad as a former customer has stated in a review? The contract, as I am sure you know, does not state exactly how things will be moved into my home either. I am quite through with the bickering of this company and would rather have my refund and be done with them.

Response:

Dear Bianca,You filed a formal moving claim with your moving insurance and your file, as previously advised, is assigned to a claim adjuster for resolution, basef on the yime frame allowed and in the order it was received. You stated that per your opinion the sofa does fit upstairs and you need to hire movers to complete this service. Your contract and our licensed services do not include hoisting services. You are asking for a refund but refuse to show an invoice or proof to your demands and additional services you claim you hired. We are not in the clear of what is it that you expect Lifetime to do regarding your concern. Please advise.Thank you
