Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
They did not satisfy my claims in the support ticket I submitted.  They refused to provide me with a justified answer and also did not respond to the removal of my purchased items from my steam account.
Regards,

Greetings,This is not a comprehension issue, nor is it an issue of false advertising. The statement that we do not accept [redacted] cards from the US is incorrect--we do in fact offer that as a payment source. The message that you received stating that [redacted] is not accepted at this web portal is from [redacted], not Daybreak Games. Without further information (such as an account name to verify), we can only guess that either some information was entered incorrectly or you have been given an erroneous answer from [redacted].We have contacted our [redacted] processor and they have assured us that they are not blocking US PINs from our payment portal. Currently, we've only received this one contact stating that the process isn't working, so it does not appear to be affecting any other players. We recommend that you try your card again and if it still doesn't work, we'll need you to submit or update your ticket so we can contact [redacted] on your behalf.Regards,Daybreak Games

We don't see any evidence that would indicate that the account was compromised.Even if that were the case, the account would still suffer the same fate regardless. It is the account holder's responsibility to keep the account secure (and we have provided ample means to do so.)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Daybreak Game Co. has asked me for more information about connection problems... Ok, so since "Daybreak" has taken over Everquest from previous owner "SOE" Sony Online Entertainment there has been a series of problems with the game. One CEO called out a notoriously known hacking group known as the "Lizard Squad" they then retaliated and DDOS'd all servers to the point of crashing so no one could play for days in which no one was refunded any of that play time. I understand that bad things happen to good people, it happens all over but what I don't understand is why paying customers have to put up with this kind of non-sense. We PAY to PLAY, when your servers that you are responsible for are down WE the customers can not play. So is it fair that we eat the cost of your down time? You guys have to lock servers several times a month to "quote", update and/or patch. Then there are several unscheduled server down times, you know, when your servers just crash. So I hope I have provided you with enough information on all the connection issues I and the entire EQ world have been having. If you don't do something about this soon people are going to get fed up and either stop playing or start putting there foot down. All we want is a little something back, for being patient loyal customers. Thank you for your time in this matter I really hope we can come to some kind of agreement that will satisfy both parties.
Regards,

I have dealt with support, and they have refused to resolve my issue. Its your business choice to do so, as is it my choice to resolve such issues through other means. If you are interested in resolving the issue, please contact me through the email provided [redacted]Regards,

Daybreak did not take over SOE, our company changed names.A denial of service attack is an outside person or persons attacking our service. It is not something we control, and in those cases we are actually the ones that lose out. They are criminal acts that should be addressed through law enforcement.Updates and patches are standard parts of the service, are typically pre-announced, and are common for all games of this type. Again, we can't address generic claims of service outages without specific examples (other than the cases mentioned above, we aren't sure what is being referenced.)Regards,Daybreak Games Support

Greetings,According to the submission form, this is regarding an issue on July 9th of 2015--could you provide more details of what the problem was?We don't see any tickets put in around that time, so we're unsure what the issue might have been.We do see a connection issue reported in November but...

when we asked for more details, there was no reply.Regards,Daybreak Games Support

Greetings,It appears that this complaint was submitted before the support ticket had even been addressed. We resolved this issue with the consumer within days of it being reported.

Greetings,You have two separate issues in your complaint, the banned account issue and a refund request. For the banned account issue, you'll need to wait for an answer. We consider all bans permanent, and reversing one is typically a big deal. We've made the decision to manually review a lot of tickets from players banned for cheating, which is something pretty uncommon from a game support point of view.It takes us a good amount of time, and we don't have a lot of extra bodies to throw at the task. If you have an open ticket in, we will look at it and give you a decision. If instead you are more concerned with a refund, that's entirely up to [redacted]. You bought our game from them, and any returns or payment disputes would be issues for them to address.Regards,Daybreak Games Support

Greetings, Unfortunately the rejection submitted to us doesn't have any additional information to review. If there was additional information provided, please attach it to the form so we may respond.

[I can not provide a copy of this email because I have never received this email , which proves that there was a technical problem on the website and that my subscription cancellation was not taken into account by the website. I also wish to inform the Revdex.com that the scam was reported on the website of the Ministry of Interior of the [redacted] government . A complaint was also filed with the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network for this scam . I also reserves the right to bring to the attention of the prosecutor of the Republic of [redacted] that case, this will lead to an investigation and a trial in due form in [redacted] . I will go all the way to retrieve the money that was stolen from me, a loyal customer of [redacted] Online games for over 10 years now.]

"EverQuest Next Landmark," as the game was originally called, was only a precursor to EverQuest Next at the time I purchased the founder's pack. The Landmark Executive Producer publicly acknowledged this, herself, stating:"As the community has grown and designs have flourished, we no longer view Landmark as just a building tool. We’ve been toiling away making Landmark into a wonder unto itself. While the look of our world was inspired by what was intended to be the voxel world of EverQuest Next, Landmark has evolved into its own game with its own unique identity and purpose." [redacted]At the time of purchase, all Everquest Next Landmark marketing led players to believe that the in-game items and titles would be available in inventory upon the launch of EverQuest Next. Many early backers, myself included, only helped fund EverQuest Next development because we expected to have access to unique items when the game launched. Unfortunately for founders/consumers, the game was both renamed and re-imagined to artificially create distance between the titles and EverQuest Next was cancelled, despite early marketing to the contrary.I provided early financial support for Daybreak's efforts. I'm a good customer. Given the above, I will again ask that Daybreak indemnify for the purchase.

Greetings,We do have a long ticket history of troubleshooting regarding this issue, and in this case it is always caused by software or a setting on the player's computer. It looks like one of the knowledge base links referred to by Customer Service has a bad link, which seems to have led to some of...

the confusion--and I don't see the agent picking up on that (perhaps it is visible internally, but not externally?) We will check up on that.At last contact, the player had asked for a refund of the software, which we are unable to provide. Early Access is sold exclusively by Steam and any requests for refunds would need to go through them.Regards,Daybreak Games Support

Some of these facts appear to be in error.1. All users are responsible for both the security of their account and any actions taken on the account should they allow it to be compromised. Furthermore, we show no evidence that this account was compromised.2. We don't permanently ban players that are compromised. There are plenty of online companies that do. Also, this account does not appear to have been compromised (and if it had been, it would still be at the fault of the owner, not Daybreak Games.)3. Daybreak Games runs its own service department regardless and without input from ownership. In fact, it's the same customer service that has been running the game since it was an SOE game. In addition, this is not a customer service issue, it is a disciplinary action taken against an account that violated the terms of service.4.  (Unable to verify or comment)

Hello, The account name in question is not correct an unfortunately this complaint does not contain a ticket number or other pertinent information needed to locate the issue in question. The process for all recoveries is the same, however. The player must provide:Name on the card used.Last 4 digits on the card used.Answer to the security question. This was the case before we changed our name from SOE to Daybreak Games as well, so the information provided previously would have been identical.

[I am not on Revdex.com to receive statistics from the company. As many times as they respond stating that I was using cheats I will respond that I wasn't. I don't care what cheaters normally do. My claim is not false, and just because I have a second steam, does by no means implicate me. The fact that they have yet tried to help or consider that I really wasn't cheating just goes to show that my complaint is just. I was banned unjustly and they don't want to lift it. The company has poor customer service and bans the innocent. ]

I am not satisfied with the response because they are accusing me of using a cheating program when I have not. How did this "cheat" affect me in-game? How does this "cheat" benefit me in-game? If a random program on my computer triggered their cheat detection system, I want to know what it is.
