This was the second of several offers that Sharp has offered me Back in mid August, this was the offer provided by Sharp I accepted the offer only to be told that they no longer had the TV, which has been the outcome of each offer I have accepted Sharp not only has a dubious record when it comes to their 4K television line with what is obviously a manufacturing defect, but their utter disregard for customer service should warn folks not to bother purchasing these poorly made TV sets I have asked for the 80" as compensation for the more than weeks of getting the run around In lieu of that, as I have written to them and sent via FAX, I will accept the NEW LC-70UCif it comes with the full one year warranty Over the phone, I have been told it would be less than one year from the date they exchange out the new TV If they believe in the product they are selling, than I do not see how it costs them anything to offer a full one year warranty from the date I receive this replacement TV

On 10/21/the customer was provided a return authorization number to take the TV back to the retailer

On 7/23/15, customer was advised that they would be receiving a replacement unit

I am rejecting this response because:I have called there numerous times so they should have a
record. Someone called me today and I missed the call. So I called the number back and got told that they could send a repair person out for $100. The main problem with that is that I was told they don't make the replacement part any more. So why would they send someone out? They also said since it is out of warranty there is nothing they can do (even if it's by weeks and almost caught fire)

With the model being over years out of warranty, Sharp would not be able to assist with repairPer our notes this television was not deemed with a panel issueThe television should be brought to a servicer for repair
