pictures that were taken of TV this device has a chip that is too big for component and a chip is cracked in two placesThis is not a warranty issue but a recall there is no way a new TV should have this type of component installed in it

This response did not address the issue of the television having the same exact defect as the originalThis is grounds for a bigger complaint towards this Sharp product and it is a slap in the face of the customer that I had different televisions with the the same defectThere is no way that I should pay dollars to receive another television that I know will have a defect in a few months

If the proof of purchase can be located and submitted Sharp will cover the repair if under warrantyIf purchased at *** ***, they can usually print a copy of the purchase receiptSharp requires a proof of purchase for all warranty support

An exchange was processed for the customer on 4/28/

Sharp will offer the customer an exchange. Customer will be contacted shortly with the offer.

Sharp does have the part in stock for repair. The evaluation sent in to Sharp stated that the customer only brought in the part not the whole TV to them. Sharp does not recommend non certified technicians to repair the televisions. An authorized servicer can complete the repair at the customers...

I am rejecting this response because: ? ? ? Sharp sold a bad batch of defective TVs? We spent almost dollars on one of them? We did some research and found out that the recertified tv that they are trying to replace it with have been failing too? If this is such a good product, why won't Sharp go ahead and back it up?? ? days is not backing up your product? We want our money back because now we are scared we will be out of money and a tv? What happened to putting the consumer first? ?

Customer agreed to a NEW upgraded exchange. Exchange has been processed. NVC Tracking: [redacted]

Customer was offered a refurbished LC70UD27U as a replacement for the TV. Customer has declined the offer. Per the owners manual Sharp has the right to offer a refurbished replacement.

The customer has been left a message on 5/24,5/30, and on 6/1, with no response. Customer was also emailed a call back letter on 5/24,5/30,6/1, and 6/6. We can offer the customer an exchange.

Customer was offered an exchange and they declined the offer. Sharp cannot reimburse for an unit that is out of warranty.

Customer has been approved for reimbursement of the purchase price.

Customer could not provide a proof of purchase. When a proof of purchase is not available the date of manufacture is used. The date of manufacture is April 2012. This model comes with a 1year parts and labor warranty. Sharp cannot assist as the unit is too far out of warranty per the date of...

manufacture. If the customer can provide a proof of purchase the case will be reviewed for assistance.
