The 10 new windows look great and are very efficient the street noise is almost nonexistent now and no more drafts. The independent installer jj construction was very good, they were on time and explained everything and cleaned up afterwards. The only reason for the four stars is because the price was very high.

We had a great walk thru and didn't feel pressured at all. Was able to work on the price by changing the items we picked. The sales man was very nice and helpful. We went over everything in detail so we were prepared for the install. The installation team was great and curtious. Explained what they were doing and showed us the process. They cleaned up everything and it was like they weren't there. Went over everything when they were done and made sure we were happy with end result. Very glad that we used them and would do it again

We recently had a new bathroom tub and enclosure installed by Mad City. The sales man showed up on time, gave us many options and a fair financing package. The installers were in and out in a day and the craftsmanship was top notch. It was a little bit more than if we did the work ourselves but we're pleased with the results....better than I would've done for sure!

Sales person was very high pressure and pushed on finalizing the deal that day. Wished we would have gotten other quotes but ultimately liked the product which is why we decided to go with it. Instillation went okay. Very fast but didn't really explain or ask me if I had any questions. Kind of just went in and out and up and down (3 different guy) through the house, so it was a little uncomfortable. COuld have done a better job at picking up after themselves. Window do look really nice an work great though.

High pressure sales. Required to sign that very night or they couldn't honor the price. We knew they were high pressure so that wasn't any surprise. We were doing a sunroom and had done some price checking so we knew ballpark costs etc. We were looking to get it done before winter and it we were okay to pay a little more for that. We had some concerns about how the roof would attach to the house as well as putting it on our deck and how animals would be kept out. We were told by the sales person that all those things could be worked out and it wouldn't be a problem. He explained how it could be done and said a guy will come to draw up the project and do precise measuring. He said once we signed the contract, that number would be the cost we pay regardless if they find more work that needs to be done. The salesperson had an answer for all of our concerns and we thought the price reasonable so we entered into the contract. Next, the guy who actually draws up the project came and said the sunroom could not sit on the deck, that it needed to be a concrete pad. He also spent about 3 hours with us trying to figure out the roof line and how the water would flow. He ended up saying he would draw everything up, including the need for a cement pad and would send us the drawing for approval and have his supervisor contact us about the cement. A few weeks passed and neither of those things happened. We emailed the sales person. He said he would check on it and get back to us. He never did. After a few weeks we called the main office, they said our order was on track but someone would call. After a few calls getting a run-around they eventually said that our sales person needed to come back out to go over a few things. Ok, fine, scheduled an appointment. Never showed, 15 minutes after the appointment, they called and said he was stuck up north because of the floods. They knew nothing of the drawings/change to the floor and said the guy who measured was in a serious car accident and not available. They rescheduled the appointment for the next week. This time the sales person showed up and apologized for missing the last appointment, that he was out of the country. He had no idea why they would say he was stuck up north as that was not true. Next, he informed us that he made a mistake in the calculations and that to do the roofline correctly it would be another $6700 cost to us. He wouldn't even address the concrete pad as he maintained that didn't need to be done, in conflict with the other guy's assessment. We called him on his pitch that after we signed, they would do whatever it takes to get the job done at their cost. All of a sudden now it was "within reason" and that is "after the work has started." Needless to say we weren't going to pay any more money and so the work did not move forward. They did refund our deposit. We were deceived from the very beginning and lied to as the situation warranted. They would say whatever to keep us on the hook. It was like pulling teeth to get any information. In the end, we are relieved the project didn't go forward. We don't think they could have done the job they promised to our satisfaction and since we were lied repeatedly we do not believe they would stand by their work.

There has been several issues with the contract, the first one being the salesman had us sign an unfulfillable contract with products they didn't offer, ie promises the company couldn't keep. They did not inform us of that until AFTER the "free cancellation period was up). We signed an amended contract. Day of install it came out that there was incorrect measuring and they could not fulfill part of the contract so it was amended once again. This current dispute is concerning the final contract, although our frustrations with the prior contracts (we had wanted to cancel all together but were led to believe our only option was to amend) play into our concern with the present contract. Our doors were installed and did not shut correctly and that they installed the wrong door hardware. When I pointed this out, the *** told me the doors were under warranty and they would send a tech out. A month later in July (original contract in March) the technician came and confirmed the door was warped, likely at manufacture, and new doors would have to be ordered. They left the correct door handles with us but did not install them. It was supposed to be 4 weeks. Mad City called in early August with a date of August 20th the doors were due in. When I received no call, I called them and was informed the doors were not in and there was no estimate of when they would be in. September 28 I called to check in the status the CSR told me our order showed "complete" and she would talk to the manufacturer. Feeling I was being given a line, I started to complain and was hung up upon.

The last couple weeks our financing came due, however we feel that we have not recieved their part of the bargain, as our doors are horribly squeaky, leaky, and you have to slam the door for it to fully shut. This is unacceptable and they already have $1000 of my money.

We did install this customers door and found that there was a manufacture flaw and that the door slab was warped. We ordered a new slab right away but unfortunately with the how busy all manufactures are right now in the industry it had and extended lead time that we were not aware of. Our manufacture shipped the new slab which unfortunately was lost in shipping and was not delivered to our location. We informed the customer that we had to re order a new slab. We have now received this new slab on 9/17/18 and have a service date of 10/08/18 scheduled to install the slab and take care of any current service issues that may exist. We do apologize for any issues this may have caused the customer and are working with them to satisfy all of their needs.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would like to add that no one explained that they had to reorder the slab. I DID get a call in early August saying that my replacement door (you can see the warp in the door at the bottom) was due to arrive around August 20. Upon not hearing from them, I called on the 30th and was informed it hadn't come in with the shipment and there was no updated estimated date. Before today, August 30th was the last time I had heard from the company. No one called me about a slab coming in on the 17th of September. However we DO have an appointment for the repair October 8.

Mad City was quick, professional and got the job done. We replaced all of the old windows in our 100 year-old house, including two very large windows. Now our drafty old home is a cozy and warm home with easy to clean and beautiful windows! The team that did the work was efficient and professional, and they hauled away all the leftover scraps and left us our stained glass window as requested. They even repaired a cracked siding tile that happened on accident during the window replacement on the second floor. A++!

Excellent work. Professional crew. Cleaned up when done which doesn't usually happen.

The were very efficient with our shower/tub install-remodel. The product is great, love all the different options they offer. The lifetime warranty is a plus. They were able to remove our 30+ year old shower/tub set up and install our new system in just 1 day.

I am very pleased with my new windows. They are very easy to open and close. The work was done with pride and excellent workmanship. The Sales man was very knowledgeable and very helping.

We had a great experience with Mad City. They were on time and very professional. The job was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. We were also happy we could lock in our prices since we weren't able to do all our windows at one time. We would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for new windows.

It went very well. They showed up on time.
The install turned out great.
we are extremely happy with the quality of the product and the installation.

True professionals and we love your new windows.

This company was deceitful from the beginning. Starting with the sales person who gave us his card and said if you have a problem call me. I called three times he never got back to me. This company while applying our siding broke a water main in the house never said anything about it. It half flooded our basement. Well putting on an outlet cover they pulled the outlet and made the circuit blow. They never told us about it. Power was off in the basement. We have an exotic bird down there who got into some health problems because of being in the dark and no heat. While applying the exhaust cover for the dryer, they separated the piping and when we went to do laundry carbon monoxide detectors went off. House was full of carbon monoxide. They did not finish on time. They were too chicken to come to us and talk about any kind of settlement. They did not decrease the price and they charged us full amount without any discussion whatsoever. I will never use them again. And will tell everyone I know to not use them.

I had an amazing experience with Mad City windows. They were on time and got done in a timely fashion. I got new windows in almost every room in my house and I can already thad an amazing experience with Mad City windows. They were on time and got done in a timely fashion. I got new windows in almost every room in my house and I can already tell a huge difference from the old ones! There isn't a draft, I can't hear noises fell a huge difference from the old ones! There isn't a draft, I can't hear noises from outside as much, and has helped with my energy bill. I definitely recommend them if you need new windows.

We had our old bathtub removed and turned into a very cool stand up shower! From the estimate to completion, it was an easy process. Installation took only 1 day, and they were very professional. They protected the areas they were working on and they had a supervisor check the work about midday! We are very satisfied with the outcome.

I have purchased 4 windows and patio door for approx. 10 thousand dollars. We have been working with Mad City to have our problems resolved for months now to no resolution. From day one our windows have been fogging up that we cannot see outside, the patio door is rusting from top to bottom and screen door is crooked. One staff member *** who came to investigate stated "I am sorry guys, I have never seen anything like this. I will consult with my ***." *** came and stated he will contact the manufacturer and several weeks later stated "there is nothing can be done." I do not find this to be appropriate solution and have asked them to replace and fix this problem and I was told that this is expected out of high efficiency windows.

We will be contacting the customer to schedule the manufacturer rep to come out to inspect the windows. We will also schedule a service appointment to adjust the screen.

My service *** will reach out to the client today. We are trying to set a time and date for late next week for our manufacture rep. To come see the installation of the windows. Condensation on the exterior of the windows. Can and does happen on the exterior of windows. Especially with the amount of humidity we have been experiencing this year.

Our older home needed an update! Mad City replaced all our old window. The process was extremely smooth from start to finish!! The staff and installers were very nice and professional. The difference in our heating and cooling cost are amazing!! We are SO happy!!

The salesman tricked and guilt-tripped my husband and I into purchasing new windows for our home. While the windows have SOMEWHAT decreased our energy bills, we deal with more issues. The screens were not installed properly and so bugs are constantly coming in through the windows. The installment crew put a hole into our wall and never said anything. We finally mentioned it to them and they reluctantly fixed it, but seemed bothered that they had to. They also smoked on our property, left cigarette butts in our yard, where our dog runs, and also left sawdust in our front lawn that had remained for months until we were able to get it out of the grass. I DO NOT recommend this company. They are terrible. Their “restaurant gift cards” are actually cards where you have to spend a certain amount of money to even get the discount. Again, we were guilt-tripped into signing. The salesman said he was going to lose his on if we did not sign and his wife would be disappointed, etc. I guess we will take this as a lesson learned, but I would rather just have my money back. I hate that we have to pay for this crap job.

The roof replacement correct a number of issues with the old roof and made the home look great as a result. They are going the extra mile to make sure to correct any cosmetic issues and to ensure we are satisfied with our new roof.
