All documentation has been sent to our resident correspondence teamWe apologize for the delay; we ensure that the resident will be contacted to determine a resolution

Our Resident Care Support Team is currently reviewing the request of the resident and will determine if the deposit will be refunding after the review is finalized

We have received notification of the issueThe details have been submitted to our resident support center and the resident will be contacted within 1-business day

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: They have promised time and time again...over and over that they would contact us within a certain amount of time to "resolve our issues," and just as before, they haven't!!!! SHOCKER! It has been hours since January 17th @ 9:02AM when we received this e-mail and we have yet to receive any type of contact from Mainstreet Renewal They make promises AND NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH! This is a LARGE part of our issue with this company Even if it was going to take them or days to come up with a resolution, they, at the very least could have called within the allotted amount of time THEY GAVE US to let us know they were working on things and they would need more time! They constantly push us off, then when we are so FED UP of waiting, act like they have done nothing wrong We are sick of it We want our money, plain and simpleWe could do without the broken promises We are tired of these people and have noted this issue on all of our social media outlets People can't even believe we are still dealing with this issue from JUNE of 2016!! It is ridiculous! Regards, Leighanna Bevelle

Resident requested to be released from the lease early, however none of the issues reported are considered habitable concerns, and there is no early termination clause in the resident’s lease that would allow thisAt this time all resident's concerns are addressed

[redacted] with our Resident Services team has been in contact with the Mr [redacted] and has requested supporting documentation to review the complaint furtherThank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have put in several work orders as well as a previous complaint with the Revdex.comI was contacted by the company Ms [redacted] to be specific and she assured me that my issues would not only be addressed but resolvedMy issues were (carpenter ants in master bath), back door that originally had a glass window, replaced with a solid door with a peep hole (makes no sense) and a fireplace that has never worked and I have been trying to get fixed since November 2015, and also a vent in the hallway that fell downA few weeks ago I got a call from Main Street saying they would send someone out (which is the stall tactic that I get)Ms [redacted] said it didnt make sense that the back door was not replaced with a door with glassA man and woman came out, looked and that was it (this is about the 10th time someone has come to just look then nothing)I received and email today that stated, the back door was up to standard, who wants a back door with no window and a peep hole if that is not what I saw when I moved in, the email stated that I was okay with this, this is not the case, also it said they didnt see any ants, of course you didnt it was the middle of the day and I told them they come out in the morning and once the weather starts to get hot, the vent or the firep;lace was NOT addressI have tried to contact [redacted] and even left a message and I have not gotten a response, and nor have I been able to get an answerI was told last week my a vendor that they would come out Friday 6/3/to address all the issues, that they would be out between 4-8pm, well of course, they DID NOT show up nor did I receive a call.I moved in a house that had a back door with a window, that is what I expect to be putI moved in a house with a fireplace that should be functioning (I expect it to be fixed regardless of the weather)I moved in a house that started having carpenter ant issue short after moving in in June, but because you come out and don't see any ants you say ants don't exist, this is ridiculousI expect the vent in the hallway to be replacedMy rent is always on time never late and to fix things with an item that is sub par to what was originally there is by far, scamming the tenantTheir practice is, you fill out a work order, someone calls and schedules a time to come out, whether or not they come is iffy, but when they do come, they come, look and then you hear nothing about your issueThen a month later you get an email saying your order has been closedThis is and has been the practice that I have experienced with Main Street Renewal Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern, my complaint has now been resolvedNo further action is needed at this timeRefund has been received in the form of creditComplaint has been taken care ofThank you [redacted] ###-###-####

We had been renting at our current address for years when our landlord decided to sell his properties to Main Street Renewal We read the reviews and were a bit scared of what was to come Our rent did go up slightly, but within the first months of their management our well system went out, and our septic needed to be pumped - both times over a weekend We submitted the service requests online, and both of the problems were fixed the first Monday after the weekend Our experience has been positive thus far

Responded to tenant directly to discuss further

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThe business asked me to take down the complaint before we even met with a manager to resolve this problemIn the end, we paid the other half of the rent, the late fees were taken off, and a 25% discount was offered for one month Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: we have been playing phone tag and I’m working to dispute this, however we have been unable to make a resolution yetI am MORE than happy to discuss this via email since we are apparently unable to make connection via phone call, as I stated in a voicemail and in email today Regards, [redacted] ***

My husband and I rented this house from Main street renewal in JulyWorst experience ever from the time we stepped foot in the houseThe " [redacted] " was of absolute no helpHe was supposed to do a walk through of the house with us but refused to do so, took our money said "if you have any problems please call me" and took offProblem number The grass was so grown up that we couldn't walk through the yardHe assured us that someone would be out to mowno one ever didWe had the water company come out on that very same day to turn water onThe water softener was busted and was shooting water above the house, there were leaks in both bathrooms and kitchenThe dishwasher wasn't even installed, simply thrown in the wholeThe water utility guy asked if he could bypass the softener for one day until MS could send out someone to replace the water softenerMS refused to do so and we were forced to go to a hotel room that night due to no water Someone did finally come out the next NIGHT to fix the leaks etcAfter finally getting the water issues resolved we were able to move our stuff inWhile doing so we discovered that plugs in the kitchen did not workI text messaged MS about this and was told that they weren't concerned with this until we sent our walk through papers inThat was JulyIt's now October and they still aren't fixedJust a couple of weeks ago the bathroom shower faucet broke and the water wouldn't stop runningWe were forced yet again to shut water off for a daySomeone finally came out the next afternoon to fix that problem along with the plugsMy husband made it very clear that I would have to leave at a certain time that dayThey showed up an hr before it was time for me to leaveIn result, they rushed through these "fixes" and leftThe shower faucet is "fixed" but still drips all day long and can not be completely turned offThe plugswe have working plug in the kitchen nowI asked before they left if all of them worked and I was "assured" that they didwrong! The day after, my son was taking stuff out of his closet (same wall as the leaking shower faucet) and discovered that one of the boxes was wet on the bottomWe took everything out and sure enough the carpet and wall were wetI'm assuming from the shower problemMy husband called the maintenance guy immediately and left a messsage stating we were concerned bc this could cause mold and we have children and also the plugs still do not workno one ever called backA few days later I went on their website and sent them a message and a service request for these problemsA week after my message and we've heard nothing These people could care less and they always seem like it's total inconvenience for them to take care of their property Not to mention most of the people I have talked to are completely rudeI will never use MS again and I would certainly never recommend them to anyoneThey only care that they are getting paid

Content within your "additional comment" section is spot onMS Renewal does not provide timely response to repair issue and take the "cheaper" route instead of the correct routeIn addition to poor service response and horrible communication between the actual home owner, service provider and tenant, the property manage acts as a buffer decided which service tickets are valid or notOften times ignoring service requests without providing a reason whyI have a letter requesting response from a senior official as a sign of good faith to my complaintWe will see how they respondCan't believe there are organizations of this size that can continue on with such horrible management

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and am awaiting a full resolution as outlined in my initial complaint, as at this time, no one has attempted to contact me to resolve this issue Regards, [redacted]

If I cloud give this company a negative number I wouldWhere do I start? The yard, both front and back was in disarray, you can tell it was not maintainedWhen we moved in the house didn't have our stove, no air (in Atl summer), no water, the windows were boarded up (after we were told they would be removed before we moved in)It took about 2weeks for us to have air, water and our stove to cookOver the course of our year there, we had leaks (our kitchen sink, master bath, & A/C unit) all because of shoddy workmanship on the houseMold built up under our kitchen sinkOur A/C unit flooded our 3/of our denAlso, every time it rained, our garage and den would flood; which accumulated black moldNothing was done about the flooding from rain, they closed the case because of the cost of repairs; so we lived with black mold and stinky denWhen we moved out, they made up a list of charges so we would not get our full deposit backEven though we have a video of the house after we moved out, photos of the house, & receipts; we were still denied our depositWe talked to a guy in corporate, Kaylan Torres who argued with us on the phone, was very rude, cut me off every chance he gotWe put in a dispute with corporate and they told us to wait 60days to hear back from someoneOf course that never happened, so when we called them, they informed us that it was closed and there's nothing they can do....long story short we're suingThey've done this crap to enough people! WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER!!!!

I do not have a property with Main Street Renewal, however I was approved for one after submitting my application only to find out another applicant was approvedThey advised me that my application would be good for days but every time I tried to contact someone (called, emailed, left voice messages etc.) to have my application transferred over to another property I was interested in no one was available, no response or anything then once I did receive a response it was to say that the property that I was interested in was already leased when I reached out to them as soon as a rental property was available, I didn't understand how it could be leased so fastI felt like I was just used for an application feeThey were no longer concerned with helping us find a property in the area we were looking for even though we were already approvedI submitted an application with the Dallas office, so if you are interested in leasing a property make sure you are first in line even though they accept application or more at one time, and first applicant approved gets the home and you are left with nothing with no helpHorrible, horrible experience!
