Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is just another of their delay tactics I have received the deposit refund though it required me to call numerous times, leave messages without return phone calls and I was given bogus information about the status of my refund for over two weeks before it was finally sent There were deductions taken from my deposit that do not align with the condition I know the house was in when I left but I will not pursue this further as I believe it would be a waste of my time I am good to close this file at this time I will leave my negative reviews for this company on the various websites they advertise on to be sure others are aware of the deceptive practices of this company Regards, [redacted] ***

Our escalation team has contacted the resident to further discuss concerns of their issues We confirmed current balance with the resident, advice the resident that we had unlock their portal for one day to make rent payments for July and August

Our Resident Support team has contacted the Resident and communicated a resolutionA new lease was created to document an updated modate and proration amount due

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: For the record: My notice to vacate letter sent to and received by Main Street Renewal included my forwarding address as I had expected to have my security deposit refunded to me via mailObviously they did not take the time to read the letter and note this informationThe issue here has to do with Main Street Renewal and their collection agency, National Recovery Agency and their violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices ActEven though I dispute the validity of the $they claim is owed to them by meI have decided to pay this amount to them in order to get this one collection item off my credit report that has marred my near perfect credit ratingInstead of accepting my offer to pay the alleged debt in lieu of having the collection item which was illegally reported to the credit repositories removedMain Street Renewal has instead refused to send me a very basic letter or email stating in effect that once they accept my money they will have their collection agency delete the item from my credit reportNot "removed from collection" as stated, but deletedOf course the alleged debt will be removed from collection once I send them a check there will be no further need for them to make contact with meBut, that does not mean the item will be deleted from my credit report which is the objectiveI have recently filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division and is awaiting their responseIf they are unable to assist me, I will then file a lawsuit again Main Street Renewal and will use the own email against them as they have in fact acknowledged there was a miscommunication on their partThe fact that they do not want to correct their own error really say a lot about the type of organization they operateMain Street Renewal has absolutely no regard for their own customersIf they had sent me an invoice to the address in my notice to vacate letter to them I would have paid it and the collection agency would have never been involvedInstead here I am dealing with an issue that was created by Main Street Renewal that they have refused to correct Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because the same problem still existWe have had MGreen come out for the a.cunit and the contractor said it was too hot in my garage, the attic space for him was too small, and that we would need to rescheduleHe did not attempt to make any repairs instead just came and left in a matter of minutesThis occurred on August 22,@ 15:I have reached out to M Green for another appointment but they refuse to do any work around my schedule during the week due to temperatures in the evening in TexasHowever theyinsist that we schedule for the weekend mornings onlyWe have no results thus far in regards to repairs and still waitikng to hear for availability!! My back door has been replaced yet downgraded from the original exterior modelInstead of replacing with the same pain glass exterior door, now we have a solid door with no pains or peep holesSad to say but seems as though my maintenance repairs are half way complete or downgraded to Main Street Renewal interestsWe are in working progress to get other work orders satisfied so I may be following up once I get an update Regards, [redacted]

This is the worst rental company I have ever usedThis is my first and last time using them, I am trying to get out ot my lease since the house at [redacted] in GA, is not what Garneshea H [redacted] confirmedFirst off they never showed up for the walk thruThey have a lock box on the door that many potential renters could seeWhen we paid the fee and the deposit it took us almost 2weeks for them to draft up a leaseI was told to do a walk throughAt first everything looks genuine like they did somethingThe have new refridgerator, Stove and dishwasherWhen we turned the water and the electricity, At first there was no water out of the taps and the electricity didnt come on, she told us someone will go and turn it onShe claims..if we dont move in by our move in date someone else would get the rentalBefore we moved in we told about the leaks and the driveway that needs to be pavedShe told us the driveway would be paved on 3/27/15...it is now 3/31/and no one have come to even look at the propertyThis real estate is a sham it is shameful to say I have to even email the CFO/CEO to get an email response to meWhat ever you all do never rent from these criminals [redacted] ripoffs

Our escalation team spoke to MrYork and he gave us the address to refund the application fee This will be sent out today and hopefully we have fulfilled his issues

I have reached out directly to [redacted] to work together and ensure resolution

We have received notification of the issueThe details have been submitted to our Resident Support Center and the Customer will be contacted within hours

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the items are wear and tear items that all Landlords do when a tenant leaves and before a new tenant leases Main Street Renewal was deceptive in that I asked on several occasions what was considered "wear and tear" as stated in the lease and they never responded, except to say "do what you think is right" I asked for a list of what would cause a deduction, one was purposefully never provided So, I can only go by previous experiences with renting and all prior Landlords painted and cleaned (although we cleaned) and they certainly did not charge for pressure washing the exterior Majority of the pictures show the holes where pictures and tv were hung, items on the back porch and the refrigerator was not cleaned properly but in good faith, I deducted the latter amounts from my refund request They have not acted in good faith whatsoever Not sure how they stay in business All Revdex.com claims are for the same bogus charges to their tenants Apparently some of us do not do our homework properly I am still processing whether I am going to formally sue them Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The business responded on September 9th and said they would notify me within business days; however, I have not received a response from anyone about this complaint and would like to reopen ID# [redacted] This is an urgent issue since this is pending with a collection agency and I do not want my credit to be affected I have numerous documentation that can back up my complaint as well Regards, [redacted]
