Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Only after filing a complaint the rental company contacted meI stressed the need to secure a property by the 19th and with applying on the 7th was ample time to run all necessary checksI no longer wish to do business with Main Street and would just like a refundI would be very leery to rent from this company because if I was an actual resident with an actual issue the turnaround time for something as simple as a phone call is unacceptableI also choose the option that I was already a resident and still no contactPlease issue a refund, services were not rendered Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response for many reasonsThere are still unresolved issues No one ever came to fix the (second) siding that fell offI took care of the (first) siding that fell off because it was nearly a week and no one came I have called [redacted] several times to confirm that they do NOT have everything they need to issue a creditI gave specific dates when people came to fix this and that, related to running toilets and water leaksHowever, at this point in time, I have explained to the water company that MSR is just refusing to provide what they needThey are willing to accept the little documents of repairs that they do haveThis has been a hassle with MSRAt this time, there is no further need for concernYou could have handled this better without delaying resolutionMSR has expressed no concern for the time and energy it took for me contacting the water company numerous times and driving to their office for an extension I have asked several times for MSR to look into the water damage and make sure there is no moldAgain, MSR is just refusing to do anything further You stated the rent recession was for the ACMSR has not expressed any compassion for the fact that I did not have a working stove for days, using a key from the lock box for eleven days, which I felt was very unsafe if anyone else had a key, not being able to turn the water on in my name because of a previous resident owing money, therefore, not having water for a few days after my move-in, having the water leaks and the high water bills, and now, no compassion for the problems with the wiring and the internet not working for me to complete school assignments and meeting deadlines for my online classes, no concern that I missed a lot of work to accommodate repairs, loss of income, and jeopardizing my job I have a couple of emails that can prove when [redacted] called me to "offer" to relieve me of my lease that he was not "offering"He clearly told me I had to be out by the end of JulyI was completely distraught from that phone callMSR has not shown any compassion about the stress and worries that it caused [redacted] never apologized about his unkind and somewhat cruel phone call It took a complaint to the Revdex.com for MSR to take ownership and get things done that I have only been requesting since day oneI lived here now five months and a couple of things are still not resolved and may possibly never beI have accepted this house is what it is and MSR is how you are My rent was late twice because of missed work on numerous occasions to accommodate contractors and maintenance for repairs that were somewhat have an "emergency" nature so I had to be hereMSR never took ownership on those late fees that I asked for in the first complaint to Revdex.com I cannot put a price on these constant and major inconveniencesI cannot put a price on missing school deadlinesI cannot put a price on my educationI cannot put a price on my jobI cannot put a price on my happinessI cannot put a price on my children's happinessI would like a response to my questions: What is the value of my education? Our Resident Care Support Team contacted the Resident and advised them on the process for maintenance issues, and a free carpet cleaning was granted as a concession

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I still have yet to hear a date from anyone that the issue is being resolved I have tried to call them back during business hrs multiple times and if I need pictures of my phone bill with the calls I can prove thatI work business hrs just like everyone else so I'm not always available I have kids, football, dinner, daycare and homework to focus on every single day, so I'm sorry if I'm not always availableThat still doesn't give you the right to say ok the jobs gonna be done and never tell me whenEvery night I'm nervous I'm not in the best neighborhood either but this is what I can affordThe other day I called and left you guys a message because the wind was blowing so hard some more of the wall came downWhat would you guys have said if my kids would've been in the backyard???? I'm not trying to be difficult but come on this is getting ridiculous I want to know when I want a date and I want you to finally stick to it [redacted]

[redacted] [redacted] ** [redacted] 11/7/ RE: [redacted] Misty Meadows Terrace Dear Ms***, I have received correspondence that you have vacated the property, and are requesting your security deposit back plus moving expensesBut I want to ensure that you understand the decision youve made and how it affects both parties involvedFirst I would like to apologize for the situation at hand, I understand a pipe bursting causes inconvenience and is stressful, but we have been doing everything we can to resolve the issues in accordance to the emergency repairFrom my understanding the vendor, Premier Homes contacted you on 10/21/2014, and 10/24/and tried to set appointments with you, and that you have not allowed them to complete the work due to your schedule So we then tried to accommodate your schedule and reassigned your work orders to another vendor, Southeastern construction in which attempts were made on 10/27/and 11/1/to complete the repairs and were unsuccessful I have documentation backing these claimsYouve also claimed damage to furniture, per your signed lease we urged you to acquire renters insurance and all of our leasing agents recommend that you obtain renters insurance prior to moving inIn section of your signed lease it states that storage of personal property is at your sole risk, and that you should obtain renters insurance that provides comprehensive insurance for damage or loss to your personal property And that you agree to look solely to your insurance carrier for reimbursement for losses resulting from such events, we have no responsibility or liability for your personal propertyIf you read paragraph 22, Section R, subsection 2, if the premises is damaged but not a total loss by said occurrences, rent shall be abated by a portion, we shall restore premises as soon as reasonably practicable, and then rent shall commence What this means is that you are still responsible for the lease, we will provide a per day Diem credit to your account and once all repairs are made and complete, your lease and rent payments are still validDue to the fact that the repairs were not allowed to be completed, no credit has been discussedThe fact of the matter is we have resolved all of the maintenance issues that you have allowed us too In previous emails from you, you were upset about the time the vendors have shown upThe vendors contacted you to set up the appointments so the time that the vendor arrives has already been approved by you We have done our part to accommodate your needs, and you have been contacted and kept in the know on every issue there was Our team has spoken to you on several occasions, left you voice mails, and emails in which you copied and pasted into an email, back to us We have rectified, everything, except for the final step in finishing up cosmetic work from the leak, because you have refusedSo now that you have chosen to leave, that leaves me no other recourse than to charge you for breaking your leasePer your lease signed on 10/4/2014, you are required to give a day notice So your email dated on 11/5/will serve as notice Your account will be charge for days from 11/5/2014, plus a months break lease fee, and you will forfeit your security depositIf you have any questions feel free, to email, call or stop by the Atlanta Branch I appreciate your time and apologize for your inconvenience Please enjoy your day Sincerely, [redacted] [redacted] Main Street Renewal

The absolute worst tenant experience I have ever encounteredThe date I moved in, I was told there had been a walk through which was blatantly FALSEThe second bathroom's toilet was in the tub, uninstalled, so who did that walk through and missed the toilet sitting in the tub? There was no shower head on the master bedroom bathThe electrical for the Garage, Dining Room, Kitchen, and Living Room was not working AT ALL, all of the lights not working and the garage door even unable to openOne of the windows was even broken in the kitchenAt this point I was told to put in a maintenance report online through the tenant portal and that all upgrades to the house were done with the utilities OFF and I was asked to turn on all utilities a week before our move in date so that these issues could be resolved, because apparently Main Street Renewal wants their tenants to pay the extra week of utilites even though there was never a walk through of the house and these issues were not resolved by our move in dateIt took weeks for the issues to be resolved and the employees they sent to fix the maintenance issues made me feel very uncomfortable and wanted to talk more than they did workWhen they sent someone to fix the window, he showed up, measured it, returned with a new piece of glass that was the incorrect size so he measured it again, told me he was leaving to get a new piece and NEVER returned, everThe window was never fixed while I was a tenantHalf of the maintenance reports I filed, were closed without any contact or notification and were absolutely not resolvedWhen our AC broke in the middle of Summer, I put in maintenance reports and had to call the office times just to get a responseI put in separate maintenance reports about the broken dishwasherThe first one was closed without any contact to me but a message on the tenant portal asking me to contact the warranty, which excuse me the dishwasher was not purchased by me and I am not responsible for fixing itThe second one, they called me and told me a new one was being delivered to my home and that I would have to be there when it got delivered, as if I hadn't missed enough work due to Main Street Renewal and that I was to call them once it was delivered so they could find someone to install itOh and no one ever came to install itSince moving out, I never received any of the $deposit that was paid prior to moving in or any time of receipt explaining why we were not refunded any of the depositBut today months after moving out, we received a phone call from a debt collector saying we owe an additional $for lawn mowing, blinds and carpet cleaning (only the bedrooms were carpet)We were never compensated for any of the issues while living in the home and now we are being asked to pay another $on top of the $deposit for damagesThis company is shameless they find every way to make being a tenant miserableI would never EVER suggest any one renting with Main Street Renewal

Ms [redacted] ,I regret that you feel you were mislead but our pet policy is, in fact, a $non-refundable pet fee per pet, with a maximum of twoPlease see the attached MLS listing for the property you rent, which outlines our policy of $non-refundable "per pet" Additionally attached is the Pet Addendum you executed listing only one pet and outlining that this is the only pet that can be allowed to reside at the property as of the date executed Also outlined is the fee for violating the pet policy I would ask that you reach out to the branch and work through adding your new pet to the lease and pay your additional pet fee to prevent further violation fees from accruing.Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I did receive a call from the companyThe sent someone to fix some stuff but all that was fixed was the door bell that was replacedFan could have been fixed be replacing one light fixture on the fan and placing a new one but I was told they will replace the fanI’m okay with that I want it fixed as soon as possible no lighting in the living room right now since we moved inI fixed the sliding door but that only fixed the door bell that does not take hoursAll it was was replacing it with a wireless oneHopefully they fix this ASAPthe tech said he was going to get someone else to do it because he was scared of heightsso again another waiting period I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:They called me today and pretty much said that they weren't going to do anything to resolve it They said that the lease kinda said that but I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere I read and re read but it didn't say that they would charge you for a full month even if your lease ended I just want refunded what shouldn't have been taken in the first place Regards, [redacted]
