I am rejecting this response because: MS Renewal are constantly wasting my time and the time of the individuals that I am having to sit at my home because of their scheduled maintenance visits, that are pointless. They send technicians out and they do not communicate with the tenants, its like they are robots to come and do exactly what their manager told them to do whether it fixes the problem or not. I do not blame the technicians because they can only do what management allows them to do and I'm sure that this company is not so good to work for either considering how they treat their tenants. They are not willing to make repairs fine, that is their property that has damages that they will have to fix eventually anyways,  but what they will NOT do is try and charge me any fees for damages once my lease is up. I will most definitely will NOT be renewing my lease. This company is a ripoff and they seem so professional until you sign that lease agreement and after that is when they show their true colors.

I am rejecting this response because: I contacted them numerous of time. And they mistreated me by not...

helping me. They put me and my kids life and danger. And descrimated against me. All I asked was to move because the neighborhood was unsafe to live in and yet. I had the phone hung up in my face email ignored. This company does not care of your well being. They only care of getting money. I only ask of them now to understand the pain and hardship I went threw living there. And yet they turned their back against my cry for help.

This review is specifically for the Memphis, TN branch of Main Street Renewal. By far, this was the worst experience I have ever had as a renter. First, we were told we were to view the vacant home without electricity and without a representative present. Despite the fact we made an appointment, the office double-booked for another couple to view the home at the same time in which the other couple became angry we were there. I found this irresponsible and unprofessional. The move-in date agreed upon through the lease was February 16, 2015 however the house was uninhabitable until February 24, 2015- displacing my family for 9 days. It was pushed back for several reasons: 1) the utilities were unable to be turned on due to the delinquency of the previous (evicted) tenants as they were stealing utilities and stole the water meter. Somehow the absence of a water meter was missed in the company's "inspection". The utilities company said Main Street Renewal office was aware a representative needed to be present for utility turn-on; which they denied. We waited an hour for Heather B[redacted] to get there. Once the water was turned on (days later) the water heater burst and leaked through several cracks in the ceiling which posed a threat to our belongings already in the home. 2) The home was absolutely filthy and unsanitary. MS Renewal claimed there was an "inspection" conducted by an employee but seemed to have no proof of such inspection. For 3 weeks upon move in we had no working dishwasher despite several maintenance visits. Throughout our rental, there were several hardware/ maintenance issues that were either not fixed correctly or the orders were closed without any maintenance visit. Communicating with the staff was extremely difficult throughout our stay; the employees were extremely rude, non-responsive, and generally dissatisfying. I would like to specifically point out one of the employees Heather B[redacted], a "branch manager" who was very unprofessional to me and would avoid my calls. I received a particularly irate phone call from Ms. B[redacted] after hours in which she continually interrupted, talked over, and raised her voice at me. I was shocked and found this very offensive and certainly unprofessional. I urge any looking to rent stay far, far, away from this company.

Responded to the tenant directly to resolve the issue.

My family and I rented a home from this company. We paid our rent on time, every time, despite the fact that it was an outrageous price. Just about every service request we had was delayed or ignored all together. When we moved out, they charged us over $4,000 in damages. Almost all of which were things we did not do or things that did not need to be replaced. We checked Zillow when the house went on the market to find that they had remodeled the entire home thanks to the money they stole from us. They offered to let us dispute their claims against us. I wrote out a detailed summary of their charges against my claim, offering to settle somewhere in then middle. I heard no response from them for months. One day, about 4 months later, I got a notice in the mail from a collection agency saying that they had sold the entire debt. In other words, my dispute was ignored and they didn't bother to let me know.

Mr. [redacted], We have tried to reach out...

to you multiple times to discuss further, but I have not heard back from you. I will try again today. It is my understanding that the maintenance related issues have been addressed but we have not been given the opportunity to discuss concessions with you. Thank you

We had been renting at our current address for 8 years when our landlord decided to sell his properties to Main Street Renewal. We read the reviews and were a bit scared of what was to come. Our rent did go up slightly, but within the first 2 months of their management our well system went out, and our septic needed to be pumped - both times over a weekend. We submitted the service requests online, and both of the problems were fixed the first Monday after the weekend. Our experience has been positive thus far.

Received notification of complaint, sent update to VP of Customer Relations and the resident will be contacted within 1-business day.

I am rejecting this response because:As part of my complaint I requested the business provide me with the data utilized in their market analysis.  What they are claiming does not align with...

other comps in the market (including those properties marketed by the business).  As the consumer I am entitled to that information.  It has now been requested via e-mail to several employees in the business and via the Revdex.com complaint.  While I was contacted twice by the business earlier today, they still haven't provided the data used for the analysis.

I am rejecting this response because:They called me today and pretty much said that they weren't going to do anything...

to resolve it.  They said that the lease kinda  said that but I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere.  I read and re read but it didn't say that they would charge you for a full month even if your lease ended.  I just want refunded what shouldn't have been taken in the first place.
