We have been renting from this company going on 4mons in Atlanta, Georgia, WHAT A HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY!!! So many issues I don't know where to start, from day one to the present Main Street has failed to provide good service. We found this home while riding through the area, called the number that was listed on the advertising, the agent gave us the lock box code to view the property then and there. We notice the home was unclean from the front and back yard to the kitchen, bathrooms, garage, and closets. Assuming the previous tenants had just vacated the premises we figured once a deposit was put down on the place and we had given them the move in date that the agent would do a walk thru and take care of these issues. We turned on all utilities as they requested 7 days prior to move in date so that they could do a walk thru. No one did a walk thru because when we went back to the home to give first month rent and get keys the house was the same filthy mess has when we viewed the home and the front and back yard had big tree debris and grass to ours knees. The agent Chevonne confirmed that no one had been to the home (she said it was far out and the only property they owned in the area) she did the only walk thru since the last tenants left that day with us while we were given keys to move in. Chevonne herself was disgusted by the food stains on the kitchen walls trash in bathrooms and bedrooms/closets. She was apologetic and stated that wasn't the reputation Main Street carried. She asked if we wanted a cleaning crew to come out but in the same sentence said it would take 2wks, REALLY! We had just given you first month rent, gotten the keys, and were moving in the next day. My husband and I suited up and cleaned the inside of the home from upstairs and down. Main Street didn't try to give a discount for moving us into a home we had to clean. The front door wasn't secure, it was to small for the frame (you could literally push a stick on the side with no effort home was obviously broken into before). 5 days after moving in we discovered any and every insect resided in this property first...wasp colony nesting in the fireplace, [redacted] roach farm in kitchen, worms, centipedes, 3 other strange insects that we can't identify. We can't shower without something crawling out of the drain. Small holes thru out the walls upstairs and down where insects have eaten thru to make their entrance into the home. Main Street tells us rather the infestation was there before we moved in or not it's tenant responsibility to exterminate. Serious electrical issue in the downstairs portion of the house ($100's worth of steaks chicken and sausages spoiled due to freezer not on for couple of days and we didn't know outlet burnt completely out). Refrigerator goes on and off, lights flicker, garage goes up and down speratically. Mold is in the master bedroom/bath. A/C unit upstairs isn't working properly, we have it pushed down to 40 and it's barely cool (the thermostat is OLD). All these issued above have been brought to there attention thru emails, over the phone, and my husband and I even paid them a office visit. The office Manger over maintenence basically told us what sounded good to get us out the office because the problems still are a problem. We have two kids under the age of 10 and you would think a professional management company would hurry to take care of electrical, mold, infestation, and no air issues in a unit. It doesn't intimidate them that my husband is a cop, they continue to get our rent before time and don't care about the tenants they are receiving payment from living in misery. All these issues you wouldn't know of by just doing a walk thru but in a few days of living here. They take days to return calls and hours to answer their ringing lines. We were able to actually speak with the previous tenants and all the problems we have were the problems they had and Main Street didn't handle it for them. We moved to the house for the location we had been wanting to move to this area for a year now and we needed a extra bedroom but not these problems and bad management. My husband is at his witts in with these house issues and Main Street failing to get it handled we have only been her about 4mons and now are seriously talking about just giving them a 30 days notice and packing up and leaving. THERE IS NO WAY WE COULD STICK OUT A ENTIRE YEAR HERE!!!

was unable to occupy the premesis. I am always told to wait one more month. One more month. Pay rent. And nothing changes. So it is absolutely unacceptable for you to say now that the resolution is to talk to me. We dont have anything to talk about. You have a credit of 21 days to give me. It has been long enough. Would you pay for a month of rent someplace you and your family could not stay in? Didnt think so. Do what's fair and just ans apply the credit to Feb. Rent. Its been well past the 6 weeks I was told it would take for corporate approval.

Resident Support Services team spoke with Ms. [redacted] and advised the re-letting charge is correct. The lease states residents are responsible for full remainder of lease; however, only two months were charged. Ms. [redacted] has been advised to submit documentation showing proof of move-in date to review for possible pro-rated rent. As such, this ticket has been closed as the main issue was addressed. If documentation is received regarding the second issue of pro-rated rent, Resident Support Services team will re-open the ticket.

statements from six different managers or executives it will get fixed and then it never happens (it started day one).  The offer presented today was based off of lies; [redacted] make statements to use as leverage and they were not true.  They breached the contract and we perceive their insistence to ignore communications as an abandonment of property by landlord  They have failed to address concessions since the house was not livable for more than the first month and only mention it mislead.  With the issues and bugs, residing in this home  endangers the safety of our family and pets. Dogs are sick after bug bites and no response. Children have fever. Maintenance guy tries to spray external bug spray in house which is toxic. We have had issues of no hot water to leaks in this short window.  Their offer was to only enforce the remainder of the lease with no guarantees.  Main Street renewal is a platform setup to rip peopleoff and pray on citizens; they tactics rely on the ignorance of society to fill their pockets. They can provide their statement in a sign affaivit. Their response was only written to look good on paper and not to actual remediate any issues. They breached the contract and abandoned the lease. It is a health and safety risk.

This so called leasing company does not give a hoot about the tenants, or possible health or hazard concerns. They only thing they care about is getting their money on time! They are rude, inconsiderate, unresponsive, and down right hateful people to deal with. Stay FAR AWAY from MSR!
This "house" that my family and I are renting from them has been one nightmare after another. Starting with the fact there was no power or water to the residence when we first moved in, yet when it was challenged that they were in violation of the lease, we were given the run around that it was the power/water company who were at fault and not them. Fast forward to the issues that have plagued this house, the fact that we have contacted the company both in person and through the "resident portal" because no one answers a phone at the location (only a maintenance request line in Austin) and there has still be no resolution. Two separate emails have been sent to the corporate email and has anyone contacted us to make sure things are ok or even offered to fix anything? No! An email did come back saying that they were sorry for the inconvenience, however there has been no resolution. Still the same price for this place (even though we have asked to have it reduced due to the issues), no real person to fix the issues, and just one bad headache after another! They are no willing to help, they don't listen, and again they don't care! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them. They are nowhere near a nice leasing company. If it says anything, we have a lawyer on hand building a case against them when our lease is up should it come to that.

The location on Thornton Rd. In Lithia Springs, Ga is the WORSE company in metro Atlanta! NO ONE ever answers the phone or email!
