I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The regional manager said they never looked at axels.  So how does this email state that it was fine?  Please listen to all calls.  I was not rude at all. A manager of a company hung up on someone.  That's completely unacceptable. They are lieing.  They showed me the shocks. Not my wife which is stated In an email so that's more lies. I have all copies of emails to prove.  The mechanic told us everything was fine I the car.  Approval?  So now the customer shouldn't trust the mechanic?  The customer is the supervisor I guess. I'd like full refund. My family was put in a major major dangerous situation. I'd also like all rental car n additional work refunded.  Your company made a major mistake n that could've killed my family.  Unacceptable.  I will fwd all the emails that have lies in them to prove this out. I tried to talk to owner and was told he does not speak to customers.  I've tried n had no issues w our car up to that point. Mavis failed n put a family st harms way.

"Customer never advised Mavis he was going to the dealer to have the car looked at, Mavis was never notified what the dealer recommended to the customer about replacing the motor or its diagnosis giving us a chance to look into the issue and provide a fair resolution"
Mavis was given a chance to look into the issue and provide a fair resolution when the car was returned the day after the oil change.  Mavis representatives replaced the oil in my car and examined it, and informed me that the car was "OK to drive."  From that point on, I could not trust Mavis again, because their representative was either negligent in his examination of my car, or lying that it was examined at all.

Regional manager investigated this issue, it was discovered that the customer visited the dealer over two months after our repairs. The Regional manager is willing to offer the customer a refund of $225.00 which is all labor costs as well as one radiator hose. This will be our final offer to the...

customer as pure courtesy. Thank you

 I am sure STS would not accept their mistake...! It was completely their mistake not fixing the filter properly and that is the reason they had to tow my car. Now they claim like they did some favour to me in towing the vehicle. My engine never made such noise before this oil leakage happened.

Customer's inspection was overdue for about 4 months....when she arrived at the store our manager Alisha informed her of all the things she needed which included "pads and rotors in the front for the price of $259.99" the customer agreed to this and asked when it can be done. This was a phone call...

prior to the work being done. Customer came in, paid bill and left happy. It wasn't until she went home that she called back asking why the rotors "couldn't be cut" and that the pricing was high. We charged her regular pricing and the work done was necessary to pass inspection and was authorized. Thank you

This customer was contacted by the Regional District manager, Rich. He explained the bill to the customer and adjusted the pricing so that she was content. This is resolved thank you

Unfortunately, the customer's description of curb rash is inaccurate. The Regional District manager as well as director have already reviewed the photos of the wheels multiple times and came to the same conclusion. there was one wheel they were unable to definitively say was not caused by our machine, therefore we are happy to repair it for the customer. The wheels were not brand new and we cannot replace them. Mavis/STS is happy to repair the one wheel that we discussed with the customer. That is all we are able to do. thank you

[The expected repair to the vehicle was never satisfied.  Unnecessary work was done by misleading the customer with bogus explanations and false guarantees. The customer never left the premises for more than a couple of minutes to test the vehicle to check if issue was still present.  The shop was well aware of the issue with the ABS pulsating and they should never have attempted to repair due to their lack of diagnostic equipment and knowledge.  The customer should not be liable for their negligence and their unnecessary parts replacements and then expect to have another establishment correct their intentional mistake for profit.A full credit is expected minus the cost of the initial State inspection which the customer is willing to pay.]

The alleged agreement about pricing and the rotors being replaced is entirely a fabrication. This location never quoted me a price  They clearly had a miscommunication with me regarding the work to be done considering they also failed to complete the oil change which I requested, which is 1000 miles overdue and is also in their system seeing as how I had my previous oil change completed by them, please see the attached photos

As I previously indicated, although the
manager brought me into the bay, I failed to see any damage/serious wears the
manager talked about. I intended to decline service. However, the manager
insisted that the wear was so bad and that I couldn’t see it because I didn’t
have the specialized knowledge/expertise/experience he has and didn’t know what
I was looking at. The manager didn’t even give me any option or opportunity to
say no. His attitude that day was like “you got to do this today and now”. I
accepted the servicer under the manager’s undue pressure and duress, including
the representation that the brakes were all worn and super unsafe, which I don’t
believe is true. Please note Mavis has failed to provide a
reasonable explanation why the brand new brakes and rotors they sold to me a
year ago can be all worn out after less than 10,000 miles while the industry
standard is 35,000-50,000 for pads and around 70,000 for rotors. The store
manager also failed to provide any evidence supporting his arguments that the
parts were actually worn and the service was necessary. Please also note that
the store manager failed to respond to almost allegations I have brought up,
including the numerous complaints about his using pressure sales tactics and
suspected misrepresentation to sell parts to people who don’t need them. How
could this manager prove he was not using the same tactic that he was so used
to on me?Attached please see my service receipt from
Mavis from last year and this year for your reference.

The estimate obtained at the customer's body shop was over $1100 more than the estimate obtained at the second body shop. The only damages Mavis is responsible for is the customer's Rear bumper. The customer's estimate from the body shop he chose added in unnecessary repairs such as: new...

rear lamps, new rear body and floor work, quarter panel work, back glass as well as rocker panels which are on the sides of the vehicle. Mavis is happy to repair the damages that we caused the customer. We instructed the customer if he could obtain a rear bumper estimate from the body shop he chose, we would be happy to send him there, but we will not be paying for the excess. Thank you

Regarding the ticket below, we have reached out to [redacted] at ###-###-#### on 10/*, 10/*, 10/** and 10/** and left multiple messages with no response. We wanted to make it known that we are attempting to correspond with the customer regarding his complaint.  Still not happy showed me old tires still think they were not my old tires I do not like what they said to me about courtesy if that's the case they should have showed me the old tires the first day I was there not after I contacted you I think that Mavis is a scam and I'll stick to it they should be investigated I would like them to send me back my money instead of them saying they did me a courtesy. Not happy with them never would go back there and also will write a letter to attorney general office. [redacted]
