Customer's were brought out to the shop and shown what was needed upon visual inspection of their vehicleCustomer's were shown that shocks were rotted out and leaking and were also informed that the front tires were beginning to show some wear and an alignment was suggestedCustomers approved all workUpon visual inspection of the axles there was no evidence of grease, tears, leaks or any other signs that they were not in fine conditionCustomers never mentioned to store any symptoms that would relate to poor axles either, therefore there was no reason at all to suggest they needed to be doneAll work that was approved was done and the vehicle left and drove perfectly fineA few days later the customer's axle wentIt was an unfortunate coincidence, however, it was NOT due to any negligence or work done by Mavis/STSRegional manager attempted to explain this to customer but customer did not want to accept it and became very rude and inappropriate on the phone, forcing Regional to end the conversation Mavis/STS apologizes for the customer's situation, however we are in no way responsible for customer's axle goingThank you

The regional District manager, Richard reached out to the customer immediatelyHe reduced the cost of the part to only $and did not charge any labor on the caliperThe customer supplied us with his own rotors which were all installed for $and his rear pads were done for $Our team stayed late to complete the work and the customer was even offered a rental carThe customer left happy with the resolution that he and Richard came toThank you

The manager of our Somerville location requested invoices of the services completed in and for this customerUnfortunately, Mavis/STS along with the customer, were unable to locate any invoices under the information provided by the customer, for services completed at our location Mavis/STS would be happy to address this customer's concerns, but must accurately locate documentation of the customer's vehicle visiting our STS shop in and Thank you

Regional Manager Rich spoke to customer again and we are going to be reimbursing the customer for the difference of the wipers which is $Customer is happy with resolution! Thank you

Customer never advised Mavis he was going to the dealer to have the car looked at, Mavis was never notified what the dealer recommended to the customer about replacing the motor or its diagnosis giving us a chance to look into the issue and provide a fair resolutionMavis was only notified that the motor was replaced after the customer came to us seeking full payment from the dealershipMavis came to an agreement with the customer via phone call after receiving customers letter phoned on and for a General Release form to be sent for $ That is what it would have cost Mavis to have a used Honda Civic Motor with equal or less mileage on it installed in the customer’s vehicle As far as the ” [redacted] ” That was a typographical error that we can correct, It should have been written as “Two thousand five hundred dollars and zero cents”There was no mention of $in the General Release letter, only the $ as settlement in good faith that was agreed upon

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because Mavis' response is incorrectI spoke to Chris and he offered me the option to bring the car in for the 5th time which I opted not to returntimes is entirely too many times to return to correct service that should have been done correctly the first timeHe then said his boss would contact me or he would speak to himwhich I never heard fromany one I also refused the coated rotors which they offered me, because that is not what I want and not what I would pay forThe rotors that were on the car when I brought it in were stainless steel, years old and not rusted, and that is what I wantI do not have any complaints about the alignment, that is fineI am happy with the tires that were installed they ride quite well My main complaint are the rotor the performance of the brakes, including the pads and the noise coming from the front end passenger side where new struts were installedAgain my request is a refund to have the brakes serviced correctly including NON rusting rotors with a performance differenceIf one has their brakes serviced you should feel a differenceand Mavis can handle and correct the issues with the strut/shock on the front end In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

The focus of our investigation was whether or not we were responsible for mounts and isolatorsCustomer never mentioned damage to us before until now, so we cannot speak on that as so much time has passed and we have no way of knowing for sure where this "supposed damage to side skirts" occurredAgain, Mavis/STS is happy to honor our original courtesy offer of the customer obtaining his own mounts and isolators and we would install them free of chargeThank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: In response to the answer from Mavis, my vehicle is a Honda HRV which is All Wheel DriveAt the time I went to Mavis to have my tire fixed the car was not older than months The gentleman who assisted advised they would be able to look at the tire and let me know if the tire could be fixed or if a new tired was neededUnfortunately, I received a phone call from Mavis a couple hours later advising that a new tire was neededThe gentleman advised that they did in fact have the tireAt the time I did not know that when Mavis referred to "The Tire" that meant I would be receiving a tire that was non equivalent to the Michelin Tires that were on my vehicleWhen I first went to Mavis before I even left my car in their hands the car was looked at by one of gentleman assisting me at Mavis and I was told if that if the tire had to replaced they had the tiresI gave the okay because unfortunately, I put my trust in the professionals who initially told me they had the tireHowever, I do realize time passed before I realized the tire was not a Michelin and if I would have known at the time I would have not given the okay to proceed to replace the tireI was under the impression from my first interaction with Mavis to the time I picked my car up that they provided with me the correct tire however, they failed in doing soAlso, when this was brought to Mavis's attention the employees in the store and the home office were extremely rude and unhelpfulSo much, to the extent that the manager in the store said "What is She Stupid" in front of other employees and customersThis response is unacceptable and in no circumstances should you treat a Customer or anyone in that manner In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***
